I would be happy that we've added some more talent.

I would say that looking at the list of FA's there is more defensive line talent out there that we could kick the tires on.  Since all the crazy contracts have gone, it shouldn't be too expensive to do so.

I think Zach Brown is also available as an ILB.  He could be considered as well.

I'd love to see us pick up Zach Brown. He is a true prototypical MLB that tackles very well and is always around the ball. IMO we would have a very solid trio of LBers with Brown, Walker & Leonard! If/when healthy, Ajayi would be a nice addition to our RB stable as well.

  2. I'd be very happy with it. Phillips is only 26, had 94 tackles, 9 pass defense, an interception, forced fumble, pro bowl & all pro selection all while only starting 7 games! I'm sure he's hungry for a more defined starting role and shouldn't break the bank. He's a true SS and also played some LBer like Geathers done for us last yr. I feel like he'd be a very good fit with Hooker & Farley.

I can see Ballard adding a TE to be#3 behind Doyle and Ebron.

we'll see what allie-cod can do and perhaps Travis can earn a spot next year.  It is a very important position in this offense, so Ballard will look closely on depth, especially after all the injuries and roster moves we've seen this year.

I agree. Im a big fan of Ross Travis as a recieving TE (not sure how great his blocking is). If he can get healthy I'd like to see him a Colt again and see what he can do next yr. He's got excellent size, speed and hands for a TE.

Inman is why I do not think we should use one of our 2 #2 picks on wr. I think we should get a top wr from FA (and Inman could be our #3) or let Inman be #2 unless cain can beat him out of it.

Yeah, I personally don't think we need to break the bank for a WR. We only got a small sample size of Cain but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him as a solid #2 or #3 option for Luck next yr. I'd also like to see Inman as the #2 WR this yr. Grant/Rogers should not be out snapping him. They can both go next season or stay for cheap as backups but nothing more.
