  1. That’s probably an issue for those who live away from the team. But Indianapolis has over 1 million people in the area and a good number of them support the local teams. Go further out and a large portion of the state supports the team. By that metric, the Chiefs are the most popular team in the nation and picked up a large amount due to a pop singer dating the tight end.
  2. Sad to say, but the state leaders don’t seem to like or care about the citizens that much… a lot companies and organizations will have a hard time bringing in talented individuals when there are much better states to live in… about all we have going for us is that it’s super cheap to own a home here, and even that’s starting to teeter out of control… and that’s all I’ll say about it.
  3. It also ends up costing you a lot of money in the long run if you have high turnover.
  4. If GMs and Owners listened to the fans coaches and players would be let go on a yearly, possibly game by game basis.
  5. Thats my problem with all of this right now. People are acting like they’re shocked at what we’re doing, when Chris very candidly explained during the combine this was exactly what he was going to do: resign our own vet free agents and add a few pieces here and there IF the situation presents itself.
  6. Uh. Most of the contracts expire either a year or two years before we even have to worry about paying Richardson. And if we are in the position that Richardson needs to be paid, it means he’s been successful.
  7. This is something a lot of people in all fan bases think, and it’s not really correct. Most Super Bowl winning teams had vet QBs on hefty contracts. Our window is actually closed right now until we see more from Richardson and he can make it an entire season.
  8. Fair enough. Appreciate the honesty man. I haven’t agreed with his approach in terms of defense for years.
  9. Because maybe, just maybe, they viewed that he wasn’t as good as people are making him out to be.
  10. lol you and AKB seem to be playing a game and you’re both winning. In all seriousness, I think Ballard isn’t making any “desperation” moves because he either doesn’t cave to being on the hot seat, and or Irsay has basically told him he has a few years to rebuild.
  11. His best bet is indeed this. Remains to be seen if the Colts feel the same way.
  12. We also have no idea if they’re any better than their father. We’ll find out eventually.
  13. So heading into opening day week the Reds have: Lost their top prospect for half the season due to PEDs making us wonder if he was only a top prospect because of said substances… TJ Friedl is out indefinitely with a broken wrist… which means he’ll probably be gone for most of the first half of the season. Star Matt McLain has a shoulder injury that gets worse and worse status updates by the day. Most are saying he’s done for the year. Oh and Brandon Williamson has a sore shoulder and Nick Lodolo won’t be back until the middle of next month… maybe. At least the Brewers lost their manager to the Cubbies, so maybe Chicago will do something this year?
  14. Colts also met with Troy Franklin (WR) and Byron Murphy (DT) around their pro days.
  15. S - Mark Perry (TCU) WR - Ramel Keyton (TEN) S - Chris Edmonds (ASU) OT - Travis Glover (GSU) LB - Jamal Hill (ORE)
  16. Hey by all means share away, I’m not the owner of this site. But if people are demanding Chris be let go and for Irsay to change his ways, well… they’re going to be waiting for some time. It’s about the same as yelling at the sky really. People are free to do it, but it doesn’t really change much. Maybe they feel better afterwards?
  17. I’m not even defending Irsay either. I’m just stating the reality of the situation. You can hate Irsay all you want, but you have 0 control of him and the team.
  18. Draft pedigree sure. But all are underachievers with their respective teams so far. Henderson was getting burned left and right last year. Perhaps Ryans will be able to get them play up to their draft potential. We’ll see.
  19. Naw, everyone and everything sucks. Burn it all down. Fire everyone and sell the team. /s
