Maybe JJ needs to start training on how to become a QB.
He tried that yesterday and it blew up in his face.

The tackler did not lead with his crown though. They both lowered their heads and made contact.
Looked to me like helmet hit part chin and part upper chest. Also, I do not see Bernard lowering his head at all.

The hit on Bernard was worse than the hit on Bryant (think that's who it was) earlier in the game. Bryant caught the ball, turned, took two steps and got hit. Ref's called Bengals for hitting a defenseless receiver. Bernard did the same thing, catch, turn, take 2 steps, get hit. Difference was Bernard hit was a helmet driven into his face.

Let's not forget Tomlin coming on the field to impede Jones kick return a few years ago. He's taught his staff well.

Sanders thinks Burfict tried to avoid Sanders on that play...I don't know about that.
Really? Looked more like he was trying to maim Brown.
No sympathy here for Lewis. He knows what he has in Burfict, both good and bad. Oh well.

I'm not sure how anyone can say Edge doesn't deserve to get in the HOF. He outrushed Marcus Allen in 33 less starts and is #11 all time. He is a no brainer.
Marvin should have been in already.
Dungy's winning % is crazy good. One of the all time best. Factor in one of the franchises he coached with was Tampa and it looks even more impressive.
Not sure about James, but he blows away Davis.

Get rid of him. Hilton, Moncrief and Dorsett need to play every snap that is not a 2 TE set.

Hopefully, an infusion of young players competing to win spots and playing time, along with 2 new coordinators, will add some excitement and energy into the pre-season that carries over to the start of the season.

We better come to play from the start, We could easily lose all 5 road games outside our division if we do not correct the issues that plagued this team in the beginning of the season with Luck playing.
We are never prepared to start the season.
2012
week 1 - blown out by bears
week 2 - squeak out a win at home vs vikings
2013
week 1 - close win at home vs raiders
week 2 - loss vs dolphins
2014
week 1 - loss to broncos
week 2 - loss to eagles
2015
week 1 - loss to bills
week 2 - loss to jets
So you can add not being prepared to start the season for the past 4 years under this regime. Time to ramp up training camp, don't you think?

He might be agitated that AJ won't be here.
I certainly hope he comes back.
Good, let him run angry!

For this year, take out NE and put in Buffalo.

or proof this staff was weak and needed upgrading

Is this the resume of a mastermind? Seems like the guy is great in interviews.

I don't think he is a scapegoat. I think they are bringing in someone who they feel is better. They have begun the upgrade process of both coaches and players. Good to see!

I think Herremans is most definitely gone, probably one of the firsts to go actually.
I believe Herremans was released a few weeks ago.

I knew Bill Polian. Bill Polian was a friend of mine, General manager, you're no Bill Polian.

They better make a lot of coaching staff changes because right now, except for Freeman and Jackson, all other players on this team are regressing or stagnant under this coaching staff.

Now we hire Mike Pettine DC and kick manusky to the curb
And we certainly wouldn't have to worry about him leaving for a head coaching position after a year.

I would think it's very likely that the guys from the University of Miami and the Ravens were Pagano acquisitions, and the guys from the Eagles were Grigson acquisitions. The rest would have been jointly agreed upon. Just guessing, like everyone else here.

Chud seems to get a pass from a lot of people, but does it bother anyone that in the 2nd half of the last 5 games of the season, when we were battling for our playoff lives, our offense scored 0-3-0-3-3 points. Our only 2nd half touchdown in 5 straight games was by the defense with the pick 6 vs Tennessee. Ouch!
I realize Chud was with dealing quarterbacks not named Luck, but c'mon man.

Well...
We have chosen the perfect times to be the worst team in the league and have the first overall pick.
Little lucky there.
That is a fact I can not dispute.

In the past 17 years the Colts have had 2 losing seasons and made the playoffs 14 times. I think Irsay's decision making has been fine.
-
Let's hope our owner pays no attention to fans and forums, and makes his decisions based on his day to day interactions with the coaching staff, GM and players.

Ravens were not an expansion team, they relocated from Cleveland.

I think he told Tomlin "I can't throw long, but I can still throw short and Cincy is too dumb to pick up on it."
