I'm guessing DCs know their personnel and know the opposing personnel.   If you play up and miss the jam, then what would Louis have to say?

That's an easy one. He's say "these receivers are too quick to jam. You need to give a little cushion."

You can be the kiss of death with getting a lot of picks wrong, you have said it yourself.

Good chance it is a Chiefs vs Lions SB then. :)  j/k

Truth be told, I picked the 49ers because I want to see the Lions in the Super Bowl! Hoping for 50% on the picks!

Alright, do you guys want to double the points for the divisional round picks to 2 points per winner picked? Then 4 points for championship game winners picked? Then 8 points for SB winner picked. That way, most folks would have a chance at least till the SB or before the SB?? Margins of victory points remain the same for the bonus points and are evaluated separately from winner or loser.

Let me know what you all think.

    Absolutely!

I sure hope the browns kill the Texans today.

Also I want dolphins to eradicate the chiefs.

I also want the Steelers to get their butts kicked by the Bills.

I don’t like the packers or the cowboys but I’d just rather see the cowboys lose.

I want the lions to beat the rams and they are my hope for the Super Bowl champs.

i don’t care for the bucs or the eagles but id rather see the eagles lose.

who is everyone else rooting for this weekend ?

    You nailed it

If they were a leaky team on D, I could see that. But their floor is because of their D unlike years past and the only team that went bonkers and scored more than 24 the ENTIRE year on them is the Packers on the road with 27. That’s why the margin you chose is hard to imagine even if I could see a Chiefs loss.

Anyways, we will see how it goes.

Based on my picks this year, it’s probably Chiefs in a blowout!

All Chiefs losses have been by 1 score except for the Broncos - Mahomes flu ridden game they lost. Dolphins have underwhelmed against good playoff teams. Quite the bet on Tyreek Hill and company and the margin @coltsva

That is why they play the game. :)

I just get a feeling this game could get away from the Chiefs.

A shared championship is good for future participation. I like that.

A separate playoff version seems to be universally liked and requested, from what I see. The only question is, whether we are going to weight the picks, the further along they get like NCAA March Madness brackets.

Like 1 point for correctly predicting a wild card game, 2 points for divisional round, 4 points for conference championship games and 8 points for SB, something like that. :)

I'm up for a playoff challenge, and will add to chad72 with another possible option.

With such a low number of games, maybe we assign value to each game? For example, your best bet is worth 30 points, 2nd best bet is 25 points, 3rd is 20, 4th is 15, 5th is 10, 6th is 5.

So for week 1, I would have:

    1. Cowboys over Packers (worth 30)

    2. Bills over Steelers         (worth 25) etc down the line

    3. Browns over Texans

    4. Dolphins over Chiefs

    5. Lions over Rams

    6. Bucs over Eagles

Just a thought. I'm up for anything that adds interest.
