This is what I'm talking about right here^...and they said he may never take a snap again. Let's start this $%&# season already!
It gets me pumped up...
Can't wait...
-
You can tell by his feet, this is without a doubt the great one....mr. Manning himself...
-
So be should be called Doody ArmNo he's not, not with me. I only know him as Noodle Arm. That arm of his only writes poo

HahahaHahah, nice one. Peyton could also guarantee 8 championships like Lebron did.
I do think Daniel Snyder will be salivating at the mouth like a rabid dog about the idea of having at least Manning and Wayne on the team, maybe Garçon. I do think he's also salivating at the possibility of getting RGiii. He loves spend $$$ and offer heaps for players, even if they are plump and lazy like Albert Lamesworth.
Not one...not two...not three...not four...

jaguars has the cap space for all 3 and then some, or a lot more....
-
IF he is not with the colts the best landing spot IMO would be the jaguars.
I read an article about it last night at work and said wow this makes perfect sense, and they could be a SB contending team next year(if peyton is back to is old self), and with a lil chemistry after a year ill pick them to win it the following year.
Here is why.
45 mil in cap space, could sign Wayne and Pierre
rank 8th in pass defense and 9th in rush defense, it might be the other way around
the new owner isn't sold on Blaine, said he would rather have Tebow
a great all purpose running back in MJD, Skip would call him a gamer
#7 overall pick to get a nice, franchise pass blocker
in AFC south so he gets to make the colts pay twice a year(and you better believe this will be his intentions), plus its a conference hes used too, with many warm weather games, unlike the phins
New coaching staff so it would be easy to adapt Peyton's offense
the more i think about it this would be a perfect fit(other then the colts) for Peyton, depending on the staff(same d-cord), their draft, and if they spend their money right, you can mark them down for the next couple SBs. MJD running for 2000 yards and Peyton throwing 5000. sounds crazy??? well you would be surprise what a passing game can do for your running game, and what your running game could do for you passing game...

Great post. We share the same views. You need more then an elite QB to win a SB. Heck if that's all it took the colts should have at least 4 maybe more.We would get a ton...I mean a ton of picks for the #1 pick. Remember not only are picks valuable to fill holes but way way way cheaper than free agents due to the new cba. If lets say by chance Cleveland gives us #4 pick #22 and next years first rounder and say a third or something....those picks could easily turn into players like Kalil (play LT/castanzo RT) or blackmon at 4 and would put us in the running for any number of players at 22. There are several DTs there, safties like Mark Baron, maybe a WR depending what we take first. We would still have our #34 pick as well for a DT or WR. That is a pretty good stable of young players and we would continue to build next year with Clevelands first pick which will likely be 10-12 range. If we like a qb Barkley and Landry Jones will be coming out next year and who knows who the next RG3 will be. Heck at #22 or #34 we could still get a QB like Tannenhill who will NEED time behind someone to grow. Point is we all know teams that have succeeded are built around defense. Look at Houston getting to the playoffs with TJ Yates, Cincy with Dalton, Bal with Flacco, Denver with Tebow. Yes elite qbs win super bowls but we all consider Peyton elite and he has only won 1. He has a very mediocre playoff record. Franchise elite qbs don't mean you will win Super Bowls...even look at Tom Brady. As an elite qb he hasn't won a single one. Before he was one when he was rising he won three playing good ball but mostly riding on defense and a kicker. Eli and Rothlisberger won all theres behind great defenses with offensive outburst sure. Brees and Mannings both came years when their defense stepped up. I mean I could go on and on but I would say defense is just as important as elite qbs. Elite qbs can get you over the top but you can build a team the other way too. There are just as many quality playoff teams and franchises built behind defense than a qb.
I really like Luck with the pick but if some team throws rediculous picks at us because someone jumps up at 2 then I might be ok with trading the rights to Luck for 4 or 5 picks. I mean New Orleans did it for Ricky we might see a desperate team offer the moon for luck if they don't win out for the #2 pick. Wierd stuff happens.

Great story, don't kno much about the player tho...I'll have to look him up
-
If he is scared of that why hasn't he cut Peyton yet to show he is committed to luck, and why does he keep tweeting about the situation and making it look unstable has the media makes it out to be? Why hasnt he just drop the whole subject like Peyton has? Whether fans like to admit it or not Irsay is keeping this in the spotlight all by himself. The question is why?
Maybe he knows that PM his healthy and ready for next season and that they talked about him taking a pay cut. Maybe just maybe he wants luck to go Elway so no body in the colts organization looks like the bad guy. Think about it all the luck fans won't be like what is Irsay thinking, I can't believe he let him go...and all the Peyton fans won't be like wow he just let the goat go....wow. Not to mention what espn will do to the organization if Peyton goes on to play and win more super bowls and lucks a bust. Or if he let's luck go and the kid turns out to be great espn would say, he let the guy go.
If luck choose to walk everybody is the good guy, you can't blame him for not wanting to come to this unstable organization, espn makes it out to be, and Irsay ain't helping.
But with all that said with the combine rg3 had has caused the value for that pick to drop big time, making the idea unlikely.
But hey anything is possible.

Funny...That's sis to you. Thank you!
-
sweet....Imagine that, but with horseshoes instead of lightning bolts
-
The media would create a first round QB talent look what they did for C. Ponder last year...
-
There's gonna be a lot of disappointed fans if luck goes Eli/Elway and wants/forces to be traded...
I mean that is if there is a #18 at 100% in blue and white next year.
Just can't see him wantin any part of that...jmo

At this point every prospect is hyped, cause none has yet to prove anything in the NFL.the ONLY thing that RGIII has is HYPE
But with that said all "hype" is, is being talked about, and Luck has him beat so far. But will see how hyped rgIII will be after the combine...

Thanks for posting I read it last night at like 1am on my phone and couldnt post it....This gives me comfort as I'm surrounded by all of the infectious negativity.

Yep completely agree DT/NT in second, guards are always found in the late rounds, so are corners. This draft is very weak at safety, it's sad. I heard talk about the ravens backup safety??? And thats the thing about our ILB, while angerer is a solid player I still think he's a bit under sized (IMO), he's def our guy tho....bracket is gonna have to be a package LB. I'd like to see a big run stopper back there...that's true as well and I do think if we draft right you can get a good chunk in the draft. I think they have to find away to get the dt in the second round. You can get a safety or guard in later rounds as well. As for Ilb we have one in angerer and I would look for brackett or Conner to take that roll for the other. That does leave the corner spot up in tbe air a bit.
-
yea I didn't have that in mind either...MO tho you don't have to be a big name to be good, there is talent out there, you just gotta have the right people in place work with it...Frankly I don't think we are going to have the cash to be big players in free agency like some are banking on.
-
That's why grigs is gonna have do a good job in finding hat happy medium between the draft and FAThat is a lot to get in one draft and probably near impossible when the first pick is spoken for in terms of a qb.
-
Yea I believe the same thing, I said a while ago in the draft section, if we could get a NT, ILB, lock down CB, and a big physical safety, that would change our defense big time, not to mention the play makers we already have...NFL is a pass happy league, and it just so happens that we have 2 (if resigned) of the best pass happy rushers on our team....
Now for the offense if Peyton returns and is back to 100%....itll be top 3 in the league. If lucks our guy we are going to need a big TE for a security blanket like the one he had at stanford, and a beast at RB, the ones we have now simply won't take the pressure off of luck, and maybe a big OL(G) to focus on run protection...our running game is gonna have to be a lot better if lucks our QB, take all the pressure off of him so he can develop in to a NFL QB.
The kicker is special teams play.... This is were grigs comes in, anybody (pretty much) can look at a star and tell you he's a star. But it takes skill and experience to pick up your "2nd hand" role players, or the dirty work guys. If grigs can sure up our ST then we sould be a pretty well rounder solid football team...
-
There is know loyalty in sports....heck Irsay would even tell you it's business.Because of the word "Loyalty"
I believe that should work both ways, fan and the organization alike.
-
Wow I thought this was a positive thing on Irsay part but after reading some of theses post the wheels keep spinnin...
Amazing.....

This article speaks for itself when it says, " this is one that won't be played out publicly; we won't be hearing anything from Manning or the Texans unless something does happen."Bob Allen - Here's what I heard and this could be very interesting with a lot of moving parts. Someone I know who is close friends with the Manning family says Peyton is definitely interested in possibly coming to the Texans. Peyton will be released by the Colts early next month and will be a free agent. The person who knows the Mannings says Peyton wants to play on a team that has a chance of going to a Super Bowl, and the Texans fit that description. Another big plus is that the Texans are in the Colts division. Manning not only knows the division, but I'm told the relationship between him and Colts owner Robert Irsay now is strictly business. And don't underplay the competitiveness between Peyton and Eli -- it "does" matter that Eli has two Super Bowl rings to his one. This is one that won't be played out publicly; we won't be hearing anything from Manning or the Texans unless something does happen.
A big factor is Peyton's arm strength and right now he's still not back to what he was, but it's early. And then there's Matt Schaub to factor in as well.
All that aside, be it a long shot or reality, I know for a fact that he does have a definite interest in the Texans.
Sounds like someone who wants to report something but doesn't want to sign their name to it. Or in other words, if I'm wrong, "my source was wrong," but if I'm right, " I told you so."
-
...."i think"....Why the lack of confidence, it was only last week you were sure...I think you are going to be 0-2 on your 2012 Colts roster wishes.
-
Yes I under stand your point I really do. But the same thing was said about him in Oakland, and we all know what he did with the Pats, with a super star QB.he didnt play because he gave up on plays, short armed balls, and ran lazy routes

And it's obvious he doesn't think it's time now, or any time soon cause why else would he put up with all this media garbage.
