Very....Very interesting..
Alex's agent???
Yep. Tom Condon
-
Just heard one espn radio the Smith is gonna visit the Dolphins today.
I wonder if this means Jim H. gave him a heads up that Peyton will be a 9er next season, and he should start looking for another job.
Also the 9ers signed Manningham last night, their receiving corp is starting to look good.
Peyton with that group = deadly.

What... YouTube press conference... This crap just got real...what did they say in the Ignatius J Reilly book?
WHen true genius rises and the dunces will be in confederacy against him.
I'm assuming you're all NFL plants sent to disinfo my truth.
investigation will continue, you can watch my youtube press conference shortly.

I knew it. Something didn't smell right...Dude it's a medical condition. Like seeing math. Some kind of algorithm.
Look, I just took 4 vicodin so I should be ok in 5 minutes. DOn't make fun of me or my conspiracies.
Ask me about the one where we're all in deep sleep on a spaceship while the earth gets moved.
Pop a few more viocodin and let us know the the investigation turns out..
I'm kidding, lay off the vikes buddy, they can be bad for you, or atleast no more poppin and postin.

Honestly who does something like that....lolI'm going to make this same topic and tell a mod to merge yours into mine.

After reading all the Peyton to Tennessee threads, i can't help but notice all the displeasure a lot of people show about him going to a division rival.
Every thread, you can read a; it'll tarnish is legacy as a colt, or it's like a slap in the face, and a I'll lose respect for him.
Not to mention the people who think Peyton will go to the Titians out of spite, to get back at the Mr. Irsay.
This is a tough decision for him to make, and I'm sure he'll choose the one that's is best for him, his future in the NFL, and his family.
But to get to the bottom line, the NFL is a business and just like mr. Irsay saw it best for him to cut Peyton. Let's not hold it against Peyton for making a business decision himself and going to the Titians.
If Peyton thinks it's best for him and his family to go to Tennessee, let's respect that, didn't say you had to root for him. I mean after 14 years I think he's earned that

The money part isn't up to Peyton. the players association will not let him take a small contract. It's also a nigh-guaranteed 6 wins a season + division title/playoff berth and one of the most talented teams in football overall. (Even WITHOUT Mario Williams)
If he just wants to win and money isn't an issue - that's his best shot at helping a team to a SB title or two before retiring. With that goal in mind the Ravens and 49'ers would be great as well, but are much less likely to happen.
-
I think they over paid him big time
-
I think if the mods just gave 2 users the boot we wouldn't have a problem anymore on where to post Peyton stuff.
Remember people just cause their on a colts forum claiming to be a colts fan, doesn't mean theyre actually a colts fan in real life.
They could just be a hater of the ManningS...
However, I trust the mods to be "real" colts fans so I say let them vote on it. And that I could live with. I mean after all, theyre the ones in charge with the upkeep of it.

Hahaha, it should read, Andrew luck one of many 1st round busts....
-
I believe your thinking of the NFC east.Peyton ain't going to the AFC South. Least likely scenario out there.
-
And Irsay didn't want to cut Peyton, but he said it was in the best interest of the team, and did so. Well if Peyton thinks this is in the best interest of his team I say go for it. Beside I think people would want to see luck and Peyton over the next 3-4 yrs rather then Brady and Peyton. I know the media would love, as would I.I would be mad. There's a few teams out there that can become contenders if Peyton signs with them, I doesn't have to be the Texans. I don't think he will though. For 1, it would tarnish his legacy with Colts fans, they are the ones that really supported him his entire career. But I don't think he wants to do that to Irsay or the fans. I don't think he wants to get in Indy's way or Eli's.

I ought to look into it. off work at 7am been up since the presser 11am(went to bed at 830am) yesterday...looking forwad to that bed. I do it all the time. Sometimes you just want to take a nice long nap.
Saying the phrase 'I took a nice load' may not have came out the wrong way though....

"Can't wait" Bart ScottToo soon?
I took a load of Xanax so I'm pretty calm right now. Ready for the future, and ready to see what Big P does down in Miami or KC. This next year of football will be interesting for sure.

And well "if" for some reason luck decides to go Eli and Elway on us, that would be crazier...or maybe just add to the craziness.I don't know.. this is "ALL TIME CRAZY".. on all levels. When irsay says it's about "circumstances" he is tot ally correct. If Indy did not draft in the 3rd or lower spot this conversation is not happening.
I give all parties a pass... the situation is SO unique...
it would be an epic fail and Irsays part.
But as I said I'm pretty sure Irsay got the go head from luck at the combine
-
Your not telling me anything new...it's the media that is saying otherwise...it's Luck Indy must show this tooBelieve it or not the Colts "have not been" the model of disfunction in the NFL since.... Bill Polian arrived.
Peyton was a rookie in 98 when Jim Mora and a soon to be HOF GM named ....... Bill Polian took over the Colts.
Indy is a very "stable" NFL franchise currently.
-
You better believe Irsay knew luck would sign if drafted, before he cut Peyton, that would just be insane, which the talks prolly happen at the combine.ZERO percent chance of happening... THis deal has been done for a few months now. Or since Indy locked up #1. On both sides also, Manning and Irsay.
I think Manning was crying from "happiness" today in his presser. He will get to play for a "loaded" team ... tomorrow, and take off running.
However I'm sure if you asked colts fan before the start of the season that Peyton will be cut this offseason. 100% says your crazy...fact is it's the NFL, crazier things has happened.
Most recent example: the colts cut Peyton Manning
And I have no doubt the Peyton is extremely optimistic about this new opportunity that awaits him.
-
So when Irsay paid him 26mil to do nothing last year, I guess it was the right thing to do.
-
Indeed I'm not saying that at all I was just pointing out that Elway and Eli both forced their way out. All so I doubt luck would pull a Elway any how, cause I'm sure knowing the man that Peyton is, he's already called luck and told him it was no big deal, congratulations, and best of luck.Luck will not pull an Eli from what I know of his personality.
He will see what happened as a unique opportunity to play and prove himself to his team mates, and his team (coaches, FO, owner), and to the city and fans who support his team (probably in that order).
I am not saying this because I worship him. I don't. I am saying this from having seen and heard his many interviews, and understanding a bit more about what makes him tick.
Id give it a .18% of it happening
-
No id say he has more leverage then your giving him credit for...He is rated way higher then Eli...in fact just behind Elway...
-
very true...but either way he still forced his way out...No, he cannot pull an Elway, since he does not have an alternate sport with which to leverage.
But being the prospect that he is...saying he has no leverage is kinda foolish, I'm sure a CFL team would pay top dollar to land him
-
Oh if he isn't gonna pull an Eli, well I hope he don't pull an Elway...Be that as it may, Andrew Luck will not pull an Eli.
-
Hahaha the fan police are in full swing tonight people...watch out
Mr. Peyton in the words of skip unleash....
I'll be at that game with a manning colt jersey on rooting for him to hang 50 on us...fact is I will every time he plays us...
But hey I'm just a "bandwagon fan"....yea whatever....
Let me here ya fan police

Say and do what you want....your entitled to it...

But I don't think they'll draft him, they need a guard and that one from LSU(Glen Cody?) could fall to them.
And let's not forget 11 returning starters on defense...at least that's what I read
Will be fun to watch
