Hugh Thornton had about as bad of a half I've ever seen from a lineman. He should have been benched for Louis before his "injury".
He and Reitz were getting destroyed, and the coaching staff should have done something... but alas there were no changes.
-
Keep Reitz and Thornton out of the lineup...

Will Andrew's next contract be with the Colts? I'm starting to worry what he might be thinking, re: that pitiful O-line in front of him. Now in his 3rd year of being battered, seemingly every week, the thought about his NFL longevity must have crossed his mind. Unless some significant progress is made in shoring up his protection, we may not like the answer.
You are out of your mind if you think he is going elsewhere, hahaha.

Congrats on the birth of your daughter, and a 1,000 yard season.
-
I think that for the Colts Luck throwing, the three headed monster at running back, and T.Y. being able to pick up yards is crucial to picking up a win with Allen most likely out. The o-line also needs to block. Jacksonville will need Bortles to play mistake free football, a good kicker in Scobee Doo, and they have a lot of receivers down and out so Shorts... and the defense better be ready.

Him "missing" the meeting isn't because AP forgot to set his alarm or something, the NFLPA and his lawlawyers had no intentions on attending that meeting because the NFL was asking for all the information and documentation on the case.
APs team couldn't provide all of that on such short notice because some of the information and documents would be ILLEGAL to share from the case.
This is the NFL in a battle with the NFLPA and they're using every litigation trick in the book to hose them.

Wow, this sucks. Now we lose Whalen. This year, we started with Brazill, Rogers, and Whalen, now we have none. Oh yeah, and Nicks sucks and we probably will lose Wayne after this year. Way to go Management, who's next? couldn't get rid of someone else that's not needed to fill a huge, gaping hole next year?

Saunders is back, Welcome Josh Cribbs, Bradshaw on IR. Goodbye Victor Butler.
I knew poor Victor would be the odd man out.
-
Blount would be an interesting pick up. Nice to see this amount of football talk going on, and this last week may be a blessing in disguise.
-
Goodbye big man. Get healthy, and make one more run.

I love love love love Gronk.
How can you not like that guy. Great player and a good human.
He is the most important player in the Patriots roster.
Hilarious, I think we have a full blown bromance going on here. I'd still go with Gonzalez as the best ever tight end... and Gronkowski's downfall could be his own actions because the guy is reckless.

I think missing the recent meeting irked a few in the front office.

Report: Colts not interested in Ray Rice if he’s reinstated
Good. If they sign him it would be a huge mistake... and honestly it would be tough for me to even watch.

Go Richardson, Harron, and Demps for speed. Ballard probably won't be back with the team at all.
-
No. I think that along with Richardson and Boom Herron they should just bring in Demps who I believe is currently on the practice squad. I'm sure someone with a better memory will know for sure.

This is the only game this season where our run defense has been bad. Generally speaking, we don't get beat on the ground, especially against straightforward running teams.
Absolutely. Up until this game the run defense had been the one bright spot aside from Vontae Davis's play this year. Perhaps we just didn't see it because team were busy throwing the ball on our often beaten, or penalized corner on the other side named Toler.
It's not a bad piece.
Using the phrase "pretenders" is wrong in this article. He starts off by talking about how he's not a fan, he just reports the truth as he sees it but then calls them pretenders. The Colts have never said they are a SB team so if Kravitz thinks they are pretenders that is only because his expectations at one point was for them to be better than they are.
Part of the problem with Bob Kravitz is that he is a hockey guy, and should be covering that sport not football. His lack of being a fan is do to the fact that he really doesn't care about the game, and not just being some impartial "media guy" as he says. It shows in his work when all he does is throw out a few key words with a few poorly used fancy ones like pyrrhic too... and then call it a day. That is part of the reason he and a lot of others were let go (fired) by the Indy Star. The paper was struggling, but bad/lazy writers like Kravitz only made it worse. WTHR only picked him up because they new it would get them attention not for his talent, or lack there of if you ask me.

Pats never punted. Brady mistakes early kept it competitive. This was a dominant performance by the Pats. To deny it is only burying your head in the sand.
Ok, if it was competitive then how was it also a dominant performance?
-
I'm going to root for a team out of the NFC South to make it. Go 6-10 Falcons.

what would be funny is if the Rams trade for him and end up with him in the end. Still I think Snyder loves him too much to give up on him.
You are right. I think it is safe to say that Dan Snyder took over for Al Davis as head of the crazy department when he kicked the bucket. Do they even have a first round pick yet after moving up to snag RGIII, or do the Rams still have one left? I'm too lazy to look, hehehe.

Luck stepped up his game this time out. Defense let him down.. I just don't understand why they save the bad run defense for the Patriots.
It has always been bad, but the even badder (not a word) pass defense in the first 9 games hide that because teams were really just passing on us.
Yeah, Luck that young man is carrying this team.
-
I'm getting bored watching our d play. They can't compete and just crumble. Terrible against the run. How do you win a super bowl if you can't beat the pats?
They can't win a Super Bowl either so at least there is that. None the less, signing all the ex-Giants hasn't worked for our little team so far.

i am all for Newsome playing more but he plays outside and Jackson plays inside so Jackson isn't the one who would come out for Newsome. Walden or Werner is. McNary is the top back up MLB. I'd rather stick with Jackson and Freeman than go back to McNary.
I'm well aware, but I'm for whole sell changes at this point.
-
Apparently Bradshaw was in the locker room with a boot and crutches from his ankle injury. With T-Rich waiting in the wind, I feel less than confident that our running game will improve....Let's hope Boom Herron is ready to go.
The guy has had a history with injuries, and if this sort of stuff keeps going on his career could be as well.
-
Freeman and Jackson are one of the weak spots
No Jackson is the problem, or so it seems because he can't stop anything. I hope going forward we see more of Newsome and others out there. We need major changes on defense.
Andrew Luck's next contract

Again, hahaha. The team will take a few drafts... and the line will be much improved by the time he has the option to go elsewhere.
