Can we put an amber alert out for the Cubs Offense? Have dropped three in a row to the Diamondbacks at Wrigley, my goodness!!!☹️
Such a bad series by offense, pitching was mostly good, but offense can't do anything

I recently moved from Indiana to Colorado, and I still want to be able to watch Colts games. Some other pertinent info is that I have "cut the cord" and do not have cable. Are there any legal streaming options that are cheaper than NFL Sunday Ticket? I would rather not pay almost $400 if I don't have to. I'll pay it if I have to, but I'm hoping there's something a little cheaper. Keep in mind that I only care about watching Colts games and I do not need access to every single NFL game that's played each week. I don't know if that fact will allow me to find cheaper options or not. Anyway, I appreciate any help. Please only provide legit and legal options to stream Colts games, as I do not want the thread to get locked.
Depends do you have a kid in school or something? If so, Sunday Ticket does have a discount, https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/13770167 for them that knocks it to 100 or so

Yeah we almost took 2. Usually Alzolay is automatic with a lead going to the 9th. That is his first loss in over a month. Oh well, can't win them all. I don't like double headers because no matter the opponent, it is really tough to take both games in the same day.
We are still 3 games ahead of the Reds and 2 games ahead of the Giants and Diamondbacks. 72-63 in the 5th spot.
And another loss cuz Ross refuses to play a decent line up against lefties. And mlj doesn't have his splitter

They lost again tonight, 9 in a row. I was listening to CBS talk radio earlier and the last time the Yankees lost 9 in a row was when Michael Jackson came out with Thrilller in 1982.
1913 for 10 in a row
And Cubs got that win today, great Bday gift!

honestly I wouldn’t call Jalen Hurts proven after one year, not saying he won’t be a franchise but gotta see more than one year to be proven at least for me.
That's my thought too. Remember the last Eagles QB to be considered the franchise

Sometimes I wish someone would offer Jimmy a Billion for the Colts as long as they would keep them in Indy!
One, they are worth like 4B last Forbes check. Two, he at least cares about his team, there's a lot of owners out there that are only for the money and couldn't care at all what the team does

- It's over 6-4, CUBS win, CUBS win! Brewers and Reds both lost, I really almost can't believe what is happening.
NL Central standings through August 6th:
1. Brewers 60-53
2. Cubs 58-54 (1.5 back) *ESPN showing Cubs in 2nd place now
3. Reds 59-55 (1.5 back)
Fly the Flag @HOZER
Also, with Marlins loss, Cubs are percentage points up in WC spot over the Reds

10 miles on the door, by Google maps.
Yeah, I had my daughter talked into going with me(she just made volleyball team after long first week back at school and tryouts). Now it's down from 6500 to 750 fans allowed?
I'll be at the crib. Not going to go sit out in the potential bad weather for 2 1/2 hours to maybe still not even get in.
I will check out one of the other sessions.
It's unfortunate, this is the 2nd time a sold out 6500 fans, had to drop to 750. Sucks.
I got lucky last week weather was supposed to be bad it said all week, but ended up being a great day

Cubs win Cubs win , took 3 out of 4 from the Reds. We have a fun 3 team race in the NL Central heading into August 4th.
Standings
1. Brewers 59-51
2. Reds 59-52 (.5 back)
3. Cubs 56-53 (2.5 back)
4. Pirates 48-60 (10 back)
5. Cardinals 48-62 (11 back)
MLB Network by % has, the Brewers winning the division at 34%, Reds at 33%, Cubs at 29%, Pirates at 2%, Cards at 2%.
I was looking at the Cubs vs Cards rivalry since the beginning of the 2016 season. It is interesting from the 2016 season-2023 season as of now. Almost 8 seasons to go on:
Regular Season wins
Cubs 609, Cards 609 (same)
NL Central Division Championships
Cubs 3 = 2016, 2017, 2020 (3)
Cards 2 = 2019, 2022 (2)
NL Pennants
Cubs 1 = 2016 (1)
Cards 0 (0)
Worls Series Championships
Cubs 1 = 2016 (1)
Cards 0 (0)
-Great to be a Cubs fan now days because before 2016, the Cards dominated this rivalry. 8 seasons is a pretty large sample size though. What is funny is, we even spotted everyone in the division basically 2 seasons = 2021 and 2022 by getting rid of most of our main core that was great from 2016-2020.
Fly the flag @HOZER, this is getting interesting now. I never expected this to begin the season but that is Baseball.
Now time to face the NL top team braves. Big boy time

Cubs smash the Reds again, 16-6. The Cubs bats are smoking! At 55-53, we are now just 3 games out of 1st place in the NL Central.
NL Central standings heading into August 3rd
1. Reds 59-51
2. Brewers 58-51 (.5 back)
3. Cubs 55-53 (3 back)
This is why counting out teams after June is a huge mistake. We were 9.5 games out heading into July/after June and the media was writing off the Cubs season. Starting August 15th, our schedule becomes soft up through August 27th. We play the White Sox twice, Royals 3 times, Tigers 3 times, and the Pirates 4 times during that stretch. If we can just be within 4 games or better of 1st going into mid August, I will still feel good now about winning the division. We are 3 out right now.
Fly the flag @HOZER
But can they stay hot, tonight or will the 4 game split happen like normal

Cubs look fantastic tonight. Much needed win. Back above .500 at 54-53. This is in the bag up 16-5 in the 8th. Just 4 games out of 1st place again in the NL Central. It is still anyone's division between the Reds, Brewers, and Cubs.
42 minutes ago, RollerColt said:Woah… just checked the score 17-5. Good on the Cubs.
I was right about the Steele worry. Gave up 5 runs and 4 earned.
The offense didn't care though! 20-9
The Reds ended up putting up 4 in the 9th off of Kay who has not looked good in mlb

I'm in agreement on a lot of this, hull was hurt though why he stopped playing. Funk looked better than Jackson. I think if moss is back and hull are healthy, no Jackson seen on offense. I'd even consider promoting funk and dropping Jackson
