Ive never know a RB to do anything without an OL helping... let alone a 32 year old RB.... And this OL has a lot to prove. Gore won't see over 200 touches.
The teams best bet is to take it slow with him and save his best for the stretch run... IMO.. Same as they did with Brad....
Lol. This year will NOT be another high td passes from luck. Gore is here to even things out.

the Colts got an EXACT Collins clone in the 4th round....
And don't be surprised to see Jr Syvestre at SS .... he is a FAST thumper also...

think about it... the Colts were up at the top of the league in DROPPED balls... last season. IT KILLED THEM.
So in reality it does make sense to draft a player that is known to CATCH the ball?
Allen, Fleener, Moncrief, and whoever.... that do not hold onto the ball .... I would be willing to wager they sit.
This Draft is a direct message to the team.
AJ, TY .... and I think Phil Donegoneandsetdown will be on the field A LOT.

Teams will NOT be able to just press and pressure this O next season. If they do... and the OL holds up they WILL get burned BAD.

IDK... TY is a baller, and AJ has a couple years left... Moncrief and Carter? The all just got put on notice. They are not guaranteed roster spots. And the more I hear and WATCH this kid.... I LIKE. He is quicker than TY... He is the Colts next slot WR. TY and AJ outside. This O will be scary. BUT the OL must stay healthy.
I don't think we should assume that anyone who is not happy with the pick feels that way because they're intimidated or they're going to lose playing time.
Some may be unhappy because the team didn't use the top premium pick either on defense or on the offensive line. Those are two areas of need much higher than wide receiver....

I think this team is planning on throwing to open the run... this team has incredible speed at WR ... This O will really put stress on the D. The whole KEY is the OL. If they do their part this team will be really hard to stop.
I think depending on how their record dictates.. Mannings TD record could be challenged.

Reggie White is the only player I have EVER seen who could line up at nose and consistently get to the QB.... EVER.

I guess the question is does he hold his ground? does he get pushed off the ball? because Chap does.
Pass rush from the nose? I thought that was what we got Montori Hughes for? Seriously.
When it's passing down and distance, Chapman comes out and Hughes goes in for the rush.
I don't see little David Parry -- the little Nose Tackle that could -- as being the pass rush Tasmanian Devil...
I'm sure the Colts have a plan for him. They traded up to get him, so they clearly want him.
I just don't know what that plan is, and I look forward to finding out.

This guy plays low with power and leverage! If he maintains that discipline, it can make up for his size. The low man wins on the line of scrimmage.

Adams, Lowry, Geathers, Celiscar, and I am betting JR Sylvestre makes this team a hybrid "Cam Chancellor" type SS.... He is FAST. and NOT big enough to play ILB like some think...
I actually like this group Indy has brewing... Some big hitters and some "smart" safeties.
