I agree. A few years ago, I traded Adrian Peterson for a second round pick in that year's Gavin Mock Draft. Given AP's Hall of Fame career, many did not want to confirm the trade, saying I should get more compensation. I knew he was on the way down and Jerry Jones seemed to like him a lot. I believe I traded him to Dallas for #36 (4th pick in the second round). I was more than happy with the compensation.

On the Vikings site, almost everyone wanted to trade down when we did the live mock draft last week. I see it happening here too. But yes, if a team does not have many picks, the team may be more likely to trade down (like the Vikings who have no second round pick this year. We traded it to Detroit for Hockenson.)

Everyone seems to want to trade down. What does that possibly indicate? Is it a deep draft? Is there not true top talent? Just wondering from those wishing to trade back.

He is not saying this happened in actuality. He is participating in this live Mock Draft. As GM of the Colts in this mock draft, he has chosen to move up to the 3rd spot.

You often participate with us and you always do a great job. You never miss your pick. Same for @PureLuck who has the same issue. @ColtsGermany As Stitches said, you may send a list of players you wish to pick.

I cannot take on a second team. Maybe someone can take a 3rd team. I think @Archer was open to taking a 3rd team.

@2006Coltsbestever Our guy Daniel Murphy signed on to play with a team here called the Long Island Ducks. I had forgotten about Murph.

Taste and smell are fine. I have tested negative each time, including before going to work today. It is just my sinuses and allergies. I cannot take antihistamines (Benadryl, Claritin, etc) because they make me more sick. I should be okay by Saturday or even tomorrow.

Yes, I agree but the poll specifically asked who gives the Colts the best chance to win next year.

Most veterans would win this poll if your goal is to win next year. A trade would work a lot better than signing him as a free agent. That trade looks good for the Colts but maybe not Baltimore. The one thing Jackson has going for him is that he is still very young (25 or so) and has experience. He would probably do very well with Steichen.

A couple of publications have the Vikings trading up to draft Levis at 7 or at 10. I would rather trade back, get more picks, and draft someone else. I don't like the idea of trading up when we have only 5 or 6 picks.

I just read that Stanford Cardinal Dalton Schultz signed with the Texans. That is a good signing. Cardinal to Cardinal: Davis Mills to Dalton Schultz.

Lol. I did think of him but not at 23. I thought we could get him in the 2nd or 3rd round. We do not have a 2nd round pick; so we would have had to trade for it. We have only 5 draft picks. Getting Hooker at 23 is a big risk. I doubt it happens now that it has been suggested

No more free agents. Please. We have done enough shopping. Unlike many here, I am not a fan of signing expensive free agents.
