Did anyone watch the Rams game? I heard that rookie WR Puka Nacua has played really well. He has 25 receptions in 2 games. I remember him when we were doing the Live Mock Draft. How does the Washington offense look with their new OC? I see that the Chiefs only scored 17 against the Jags. Is the Jags defense that good? How did Stroud look?

I missed all the games today. The Vikings were off and had a chance to spend time with two of my siblings. It was fun but I am beat; as I sit here my Fitbit says I am at 19,980 steps for the day. Anyway, I am still alive in the Survivor Pool. I picked the Bills. I see they blew out the Raiders. Looking forward to this Sunday night game.

Your Indianapolis Colts travel to Houston to play their second intra-divisional game, this time against the Texans. Both teams are starting rookie quarterbacks and have first-year head coaches and looking to win their first game of the 2023 season. Final Injury Reports Hopefully you will see a lot of Zack Moss and the running game will be improved. The Texans seem to be have a lot of missing pieces. Several of their offensive linemen are on IR. In addition, per the Texans SB Nation site, Battle Red Blog, Many are surprised to see Stroud on the Final Injury Report but he is expected to play. What are your thoughts on this game? How many Colts fans supported Carson Wentz at the end of his only year with the Colts? I can remember only one and he argued with many here defending Wentz. Carson's stats with the Colts were not too different from those of Kirk Cousins. And Cousins has had great receivers. If I recall correctly, Wentz did not have WRs the caliber of Diggs, JJ or even Thielen. It bothers me that folks are criticizing some Vikings fans for wanting more wins from Cousins. I think all fans would want that.

I think all fan bases want more from their players.

Who are they playing? I have not followed the Mets at all this year because I did not like how they constructed the team. All the best to the Cubs. I like teams that win with youth and invest in their own players.

That was one playoff game! Sorry but Kirk has had a lot of weapons even going back to his days with Washington. Putting up big numbers is not as important as winning. Kirk went 8-8 with almost the same team that went 13-3 with Case Keenum. Case won a playoff game against the Saints too, albeit with a "miracle". Kirk puts up a lot of stats but he does not get first downs. He does not consistently get first downs unless he throws deep. That pass to Addison is what he lives by. He does not throw intermediate passes to keep the chains moving and eat up clock. Fans of other teams do not see that. All they see are TDs and yards. Football is not all about TDs and Yards.

BTW, @w87r, lots of Vikings fans like Cousins. Most do. It is just me who is not a fan and that is because I do not like to sign other teams' star players. I feel the same about acquiring free agents in baseball. I watched only one Mets game this year because I did not like the way they constructed the team with all these free agents. I like drafting and developing our players.

That is our history. We have been in QB purgatory since after the days of Fran Tarkenton. Daunte Culpepper was Okay. Cousins has been okay. We have been much better at drafting WRs (except Treadwell and Troy Williamson).

That was a very nice-looking TD from Kirk to Addison. I just wish Addison would do a Barry Sanders -- no celebrating when you are down 2 TDs!

But we cannot blame the defense for this. This is a complementary game and the offense and special teams have not contributed. The Eagles should be up by 30 given the 4 or more fumbles we have had. More than the Jets defense the other day???

The offense is killing the team but when people see the score they will say it is the defense that is to blame. The defense is playing well.
