I have no idea what you guys are talking about... this is NOT a Steichen issue. Steichen has called a great game so far. We have scored 21 points against the best defense in the league with a FG blocked and 2 strip sacks that lead to TDs for the Browns. This is NOT a Shane Steichen problem. This is execution and talent issue.

poor o-line talent and poor blocking tight ends

This isn't the worst news.  We got to see his potential.  i'm sure he will recover and be ready for 2024, assuming he doesn't use AL's surgeon!  lol.

Minshew madness for the rest of the year.  He's a game manager.  We have a decent defense and a potentially strong ground game.  Hopefully we have a lot of close games and pull out some victories.

this will give us a chance to see how good our new head coach really is, if he can use our rbs and this roster to make the playoffs, then we will know he is really good

This article states that Jim Irsay said, " I mean, it's not definite"..........

This article does not say that AR is out for the season...(I know he probably WILL be)...But this report is not exactly the final word on the matter...

"probably"..."in all likelyhood"..."not definite"....Did anyone read the article?

no i was depending on you guys

Mainly, the people that did not want us to draft AR are coming up with everything imaginable to justify why we shouldn't have taken him. From the 4 games I have seen him play, he looked above average to me. My only worry is, can he stay healthy?

mobile qbs are elusive and move trying to find an open man, they dont take as many hits as a running qb who try to get yards with his legs

WR, CB, DE, S and DT are all positions that could use a boost from 1st round talent. DT more bc Grover and Buckner will need extended or replaced. Safety is not high on my list but a play maker back there always helps. I think the first three I listed are extremely important spots to get blue chip players at.

may need a qb depending on ars throwing arm and an elite pass rusher and a elite wr

There seems to be a lot of quarterback injuries this year. Justin fields.now our this week with a dislocated thumb. Jimmy our most likely. Aaron Rodgers for the Jets.  I don’t think I remember so many injuries as we have had this season in the league.

No they won’t. I guarantee they won’t. They will look into making sure they get MHJ.

what if mhj does not live up to the hype

If you were hoping for a playoff run or even to just make the playoffs with a rookie QB and HC. You set yourself up for this disappointment. Sure making the playoffs would be sweet but at least be realistic.

all gms should have the mindset to build their roster to win it all each season, in todays nfl rebuilding mode and preparing for next season is a losers game. putting a roster together each season is like a game of which gm can assemble the best talent to play together with a desire to win it all or at least make the playoffs each season. the only season that counts is this season. ballard is giving it his all to make the playoffs this season. injuries happen to all teams, we lost ar so our head coach needs to find a way to use our strongest weapons to win. we have 2 top rbs who can be used to be a force with either of our 2 qbs to make the playoffs and our gm can add talent to help our backup qbs. dont give up hope we have the talent to make the playoffs. i believe ballards job is on the line to make the playoffs and he will get the talent help to do it.

Damn I don't know about everyone else on here.  But I dont think a player like AR can come back from an injury like this and still be a franchise QB.  AR only played 13 college games.  Coming into the NFL he needed experience aka playing time.  AR getting surgery on his throwing shoulder is gonna set him back so far that I think it's gonna take him 2 years to get back to where he needs to be.  Minshew as we can see from today he is a backup for a reason.  Time to tank the season and draft a insurance policy QB hoping we pick top 3 this year somehow

if we play like we did today again we wont have to tank to get a top 5 pick
