He didn't say.  He just said that AR has the most extensive injury history of any of the QBs available for the draft.

My impression is that most people think these injuries were a surprise.  Apparently, if AR was the most injury prone coming into the draft, then what happened to him should not be unexpected or be considered a stroke of bad luck.  That's how I think about it.

could be his style of play brings more injuries

Stroud is playing out of his mind.

I'm not even mad. I like watching good player play football. That said, this dude is going to be a problem for us for a long time

nick caserio will probably be gm of the year. in 2 years he has filled the texans roster with elite talent that will probably dominate the afc south for years to come behind stroud. meanwhile year 7 of ballards delayed gratification. was nick  the reason the pats had elite talent during the years that he was there?

I think now Minchew is afraid to make a mistake now and it’s hurting our offense big time. I think he just needs go out and play his game and let the chips fall where they may. The o- line just needs to play better and that would help a lot with the strip fumbles from happening.  He moves around so much in the pocket so much he’s afraid of the strip fumble. I say just play your game it’s the ultimate team game.

i like him moving in the pocket so our receivers can get open, reminds me of fran tarkington

Yeah, it is all subjective, like any debate about GOAT's. It depends on what era someone might think was tougher to win in as well. Breaking down the decades, IMO there were 2 coaches that stood out in each decade regarding wins and SB wins:

    60's

    1. Vince Lombardi - Won 2 SB's in the 60's.

    2. Weeb Ewbank - Won the SB in 1968 as a huge underdog.

    70's

    1. Don Shula - Won 2 SB's in the 70's, went undefeated in 1972.

    2. Chuck Knoll - Won 4 SB's in the 70's.

    80's

    1. Bill Walsh - Won 3 SB's in the 80's.

    2. Joe Gibbs - Won 2 SB's in the 80's, 3 overall.

    90's

    1. Jimmy Johnson - Won 2 SB's in the 90's. Built a team from 1-15 to a dynasty.

    2. Mike Shannahan - Won 2 SB's in the 90's.

    2000's-09

    1. Bill Belichick - Won 3 SB's in the 2000's-09

    2. Tony Dungy - Won a SB in 2006 and won 76% of his games with Indy.

    2010's-19

    1. Bill Belichick - Won 3 SB's in the 2010's-19.

    2. Andy Reid - got a SB win in 2019.

-I guess, pick your poison. Belichick does has the advantage because he dominated for 2 decades.

he is the best. he knew how to take out his opponents strength and take advantage of their weak spots. he was a master at taking advantage of flaws in the rules. as gm he was not afraid to sign bad character guys or spend money for elite talent. he did not shop for talent in the bargain bin. the colts could use him for a gm to build a winning roster

We were looking for a WR at the deadline.  That’s an indicator they would like to upgrade over what we already have at the position.

about time ballard realizes that our receivers needed upgraded

I can’t for the life of me in Young why anyone thought he was a big QB prospect.  Yardage and TDs in college sometimes doesn’t matter and the number of guys who put up huge college stats but aren’t really NFL talent is prodigious.

But the kid is tiny.  Doesn’t have any outstanding athletic talent for an NFL player.

and man he just isn’t able to throw very hard lol from what I’ve seen.

im guessing Chad Pennington/Bobby Hebert ceiling at the absolute most and that’s if he develops into a great reader/reacter.  Both Pennington and Hebert were able to be decent for a while with arm strength that is less than the usual minimal threshold for NFL QBs.

young’s balls just take longer to get there than I’m used to seeing in the NFL.  I do not understand how he was selected so high.

i thought he was too tiny, cant believe carolina did not pick stroud now the texans have the best qb in our division

Frank seems like a genuinely great person. I know he’s a pastor, and if he ever gets tired of football, I’ll wager he’d be great at that. He seems very kind and considerate and inspiring. Unfortunately, you need waaaay more than high character to be a successful NFL coach

elite players can make any coach look great coaches dont win games elite talent does,

Yeah, I don't think it will be as fast of a turnaround like what Cincy did. But I hope between this year's draft group (which has been pretty good so far) and next year we can at least get more competitive again.

ballard has had 7 years of drafts and we keep getting worse
