The idea that it's somehow ETCHED IN STONE..... That starters must take one entire preseason game off is laughable. Whoever said playing two series to a quarter in a preseason game was worth arguing against? It's as bad as "load management" in basketball. None of these guys are 12 year vets..... Let them play and further acclimate a few series. Tonight, AND next week.... Because, show me an actual, tangible negative to doing so..... You aren't wrong, but it is getting ridiculous

Other than injuries, I give Kelly a pass for about 50% of the bad play the last two seasons..... so I probably only expected 75% of Kellys total potential..... That said, we got closer to 50%

Sure. Just like a ten year old Jeep with 280,000 miles on it is a much safer bet than a 15 year old Jeep with 100,000 to 180,000 on it.....all maintenance tip top, of course....

I'll say it again... Taylor may be YOUNGER than Cook, Elliott, etc.... Over the last six years, Taylor has the MOST wear and tear (carries) out of Elliott, Cook, Hunt, Barkley, Jacobs, etc .... And in many cases it ain't even CLOSE.... last six years of football.... Cook - 1,282 Elliott - 1,559 Hunt - 895 Barkley - 1,174 Jacobs - 1,238 TAYLOR - 1,682..... Taylor being younger means pretty much nothing.

Man, if we hit..... And I mean really hit, on Richardson... There will be some serious salt coming out way for years to come.... I know we feel like the carousel has been horrible and way too long... But NFL fanbase already hated us for moving from Manning to Luck... if it only took us a handful of meh, not even rock bottom, seasons....to hit on the next big thing at QB..... ohhhhhh the salt. Lol.

Not to mention, this let's the team know who the unquestioned leader is, and he knows it too.... that's important, but often overlooked. Having unified direction and a focal point is not a small thing. Just look at last year....

He's definitely more physically talented, that's measurable after all.. not that Luck wasn't gifted... the grooming for the position and supposed eidetic memory are the differences there.....

Listening to Kravitz on The Fan this morning.... and I don't know if I completely agree with their argument. Yeah, I don't EXPECT a winning record this year. Almost solely due to having a rookie QB and rookie CBs..... Outside of that, where's the "talentless tear down" narrative coming from? This isn't an old team.... and it's not a team without talent, witness, they won four games and almost 6 or 7 last year in the NFL WITHOUT a QB?! I'm just not going to be surprised with 7 or 8 wins either, and who knows, maybe 9 or more, weirder things have happened. I expect 5-6 wins though. I just don't get the "jettison everyone, all 53 need to be rookies just like AR" media narrative.

RB wise, JT has more miles on him than any of the RBs on the market this year over the last six seasons.... So it's like dog years.....JT is the oldest of all the RBs in RB years lol
