And that still doesn’t address the bad dline. That also stops us from using a pick to move up because we need them all.
Is pot legal in your state?

The only way i would take a WR in the 1st is if its a Watkins type gamechanger that has all the skills PLUS size.
As long as he's much better than Watkins, I'm in.

I remember the day of Devin.
Remember that nice catch he had?
That was great.

That’s a problem and he hasn’t even declared yet!
I would Be scared to take Tua early.
And that removes one more opportunity to push another good player down to our pick.

Split hairs much?
"Maxing out" is very much equal to "Limit" in this word use
I would agree that the pro style approach and excellent coaching will prepare a kid for the pros a bit better than other places.
But.... I dont think they are maxed out or limited by being in the program
I think it helps them.
However, in some cases, due to the depth and excellent recruiting classes, a very good potential future pro, may not see the field as much as in other programs, and as early, which in THAT case, slows the progress of that individual as they arent seeing the field
Nope. Not splitting hairs.
'Maxing out' suggests the athletes full potential.
'Limit' suggests they were held back from realizing that full potential.
And, then there are those that just couldn't reach their full potential regardless, for whatever reason.

Most of the top tier programs are like that though. Ohio State and Clemson also stand out with Alabama as well.
Of course.
There's a minority of schools that generate a larger percentage of NFL ready football players.

"Great taste, Less filling"
I remember the Ditto machine. I've sent a Telex in my life, and I remember the miracle of the fax machine.
Typewriters. Computers that only sent email.
AOL.. wait, they're still around, aren't they?

I hate to take issue with the legend, that is NCF!

Just bustin yo chops........
This quote doesnt really make sense to me
I dont know how good coaching in college limits anything
I think if anything, an Alabama player might be better, in a shorter time than a talent from a poorly coached school
But.... good coaching shouldnt "limit" a player
You said 'limit'. NCF didn't.
I think what he's saying is that 'bama players could be much closer to a finished product at draft time, while players from other schools may have a lot more, yet to be realized, potential.
Just my 2 cents.

As is the case with most all positions on all teams, every position could use an upgrade.
With the Colts I'd say the LB unit would need it the least.
Every other position could use an upgrade.

They have a Caddy for a coach and an owner who thinks he is a great GM. That team is a mess.

Larry Tunsil, Minka Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tannehill, Kenyan Drake, Jarvis Landry, Kenny Stills,
Is there any way Miami can replace this kind of talent with their boatload of draft picks?
If they hit on their early picks it shouldn't be too hard.
Only Tunsil & Fitz would be difficult. The rest could be matched in subsequent rounds.

Wasn't ESPN the network that broadcast the game 3 days ago? I could swear there was effusive praise for Brissett - even declaring him a franchise QB.
The views expressed in this show do not necessarily represent the views of the station.

1. He’s only been a starter going on 2 years2. His knees hurt
3. The injuries to the WR’s
4. The WR’s aren’t very good
5. Need to draft Ceede Lamb cuz that will make him better
6. He needs more weapons
7. It’s Frank’s fault
8. He’s still “developing”
9. Hoyer sucks
Not that he's high?

So, when he misses open receivers what are our thoughts?

Rumor started by Ballard?
Now we don't need to trade up for him.
Heck, maybe even wait 'til the second round(?).
j/k of course.

I've never been, but yeah,.... that's the rumor.
Would like to have dinner down there, though.

D-lineman don’t win you games though. QBs do. You always get your QB first. That’s why the Heismen and MVPs are almost always QBs.
And the Heismen and MVPs are pretty meaningless because of it.
Yes, it's hindsight, but I'll take Nelson over Darnold any day.
And as fun as they were, at times, I'd rather not experience the Luck era over, and over, and over, again. I'd include the Manning era, but feel there were a few seasons where the team was good enough in most all areas, to win it all even when Manning had a bad day.

Like the others have said, Hurts is a really interesting pick. We see how most of the good young QBs these days can all run, and run well. This isn't the age of the pocket passer anymore, so it might be time to get with the program and grab a good, dual threat QB. Just my 2 cents
Name them, just so we have them here for reference.

I'm in the never Hurts camp.

Love will have to go into the draft with a broken throwing arm for him to go in the 2nd. I'm pretty sure his reasoning for declaring was because he was given 1st round grades by NFL scouts/personnel.
Perhaps a team has shown a lot of interest in him.

strip the titles, make the team disband sit out a year and start from scratch like an expansion team and kick BB out of the league,
again that will never happen.

I find it odd that Kelly isn't a fan consideration, all of a sudden.
If you take his off field stuff out of the equation, he'd stack up favorably to most of the QBs coming out this year.
The whole Kelly topic is very odd from many standpoints.
