Yep, but then you turn on the TV and actually watch him play.
Right now, to me, his best value is to get picked ahead of us, and push other good players down to us.

He was signed on to be Mcdaniels DC.
Yes, but that wasn't the point.
The point was that at least one of those coaches signed prior to McD's decision was the choice of CB, and not McD. I thought it was Eberflus, but I guess I was mistaken.

Per this article, he was a McDaniels hire. From that article:
2. Eberflus’ hiring in Indianapolis is a unique story. Eberflus was picked to be defensive coordinator by Josh McDaniels, who committed to become head coach but ultimately decided to return to New England. The Colts opted to keep Eberflus and two other assistants -- offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo and defensive line coach Mike Phair -- while searching for a new head coach. Frank Reich was tabbed as the head man a few days later, and one of the first things on his to-do list was to get acquainted with his new defensive coordinator. “It really couldn’t have worked out any better,” Reich said recently. “I know it’s crazy. It’s really an odd way for it to come together, but it literally couldn’t have come together any better.’’
Thanks. Then it appears I was mistaken.

I gotta say, I no longer want the Colts to consider Higgins as a WR option.
He's tall, but that's about it. He seems to play soft. Let someone else take him.
Confessions? I've only seen him in his last two games, which admittedly were against two good defenses, but, well, the NFL won't be any easier.
Gimme either of the top two from LSU, or 'Bama

That was a dang long game also. Never seen a 2 he first half. Those targeting rules are good but to eject a player after one time is ridiculous. These players are flying around so fast.
Maybe, but that was targeting, and it wasn't close.

Eberflus the lone McDanials hire left but dont see him going anywhere for a bit, though Ive been wrong before.
Heck, I think you're wrong here.
If I recollect correctly, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Eberflus was a CB hire, not McDaniels.

Lamar is a good running back, and shows no signs of being anything more.

I hope he goes to the Bears, Steelers, or Cowboys, or stays with the Pats, as a matter of convenience.
I already can't stand those teams.

browns said they will go through everyone no matter what
It's prudent of them to do so. It helps them shorten the search two years from now.

I want to thank you very much for trying to make the off-season interesting without being divisive, but please......unless you have a million ideas spread it out. We have A LOT of time to kill.

If it's a stop gap only, I only want us to consider FA.
If it's someone younger who we'd count on for a few years, THEN I wouldn't mind a trade.

As things stand now....three. None of them by the Colts.

Anyone think Clowneys hit on Wentz was intentional.
I think it was targeting.

I wouldn't argue if we did.
He looked pretty accurate last night.
He appears to be similar to JB in that, right now, his sweet spot is short to medium, but he appears more accurate, and with more touch.
His long accuracy needs work.
But, he's less mobile, and doesn't seem as rushed in the pocket.
That's my first observance of him, though, so a small sample size.

I can certainly see/understand a trade back BECAUSE there's so much talent in this draft.
If you got 10 tier one guys, and they're gone before your pick at 13, and you got 15 guys in tier 2, I'd certainly consider a trade back to the 20 range.
At this point, just make sure you're staying in the tier 2 range.
That also means you're in a good spot to trade up, as well.
Either way, there's got to be a trade partner.

Having those three pretty high picks ballard can’t screw this up. We should get 3 great players with those picks.
And hope at least 2 of them work out.

And, with every new coaching hire comes the possibility of scheme changes, and some players no longer fitting in.
Could add to the available talent pool, FA or trade.

Hmm, Dorsey?

I think keeping Marone in Jax was the right decision. The issue down there was clearly Coughlin.
Wow what are the browns thinking. No wonder that is a bad organization.
Haslam?
Giving Micky D complete control?
Does that even sound believable?
I mean, yeah, they can agree to it, but will Haslam really act in that manner?
I always thought his intervention was a big part of the problem.

I'm glad he does these things.
I have no concerns of the motive.

I dont understand the urge people are getting to get anyone who is better than JB for the sake that hes somewhat better. If you want SBs we need someone quite a bit better than current JB imo.
You're not wrong, it's just not easy.
Those guys aren't available every year, and when they are you gotta be in position to get them.
Otherwise, you're trusting your instincts to get the guy who can develop, and that you can develop them.
It's a crap shoot.
