He can lead from the bench his 100 yards a game can be replaced . He had a mild sprain 6 weeks later playing horrible . We had the easiest schedule in the nfl go 7 and 9. He cant throw it's like watching paint dry going from manning and luck to a qb going through one read then running from a clean pocket and throwing it away .jacoby had the best offensive line and had a top ten rushing team even when hilton came back he is super inaccurate.
Check your sarcasm detector. Either it's off, or you're just in the mood to rant, right now.

Dammit! Someone has leaked Chris Ballard's double-secret strategy for locking down the #1 pick in the 2021 draft!
Quick, hoist the smoke screens.

True - Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham, Ron Howard all played basketball before becoming a successful TE at the NFL level.
The new TE, however is getting lighter, which might help usher in bigger college WRs in becoming TEs, especially those that I call big slots because they are more used to LB and safety contact in both the run and pass game, IMO. However, history so far shows us that the conversion is best done between high school and college than between college and the NFL. Larger TEs become Offensive tackles, our own Joe Reitz played basketball at Western Michigan, then was groomed as an OL by the Ravens and it took his 3rd team, the Colts for him to finally mature as an above average OT with the ability to be good at times.
Here is an interesting read that highlights it:

I always felt Opie was too short to play basketball.
Darn auto complete, huh?

I am sooooooo NOT a Jameis Winston guy. Not at all. Want no part of him.
I think he’s just good enough to get you beat. A coach killer.
No. Thank. You.
Same here.
AND, for me? Same goes for Cam.

I'd be disappointed if here turned out to be Watson.

I don’t think this is a good class of left tackles. Jones is my favorite. The rest of the first round tackles I think are either right tackles, or guards. Beckton, the massive left tackle at 370 pounds is just too big for my comfort level. I like my tackles no bigger than 325, and I’d prefer smaller.
So all in all, if we take an OT in the first I hope it’s Jones. Otherwise, I’d rather wait until a later round, or even next year. Especially if AC returns.

I agree, both times.

If the draft falls like that, and Castonzo re-signs, I'm definitely trying to trade back a bit.
THAT with the understanding that we're not big on the QBs left there, also.

Not only that, Ballard and Reich both like Brissett. It's the fans and the media that are driving this desperate effort to run Brissett out of town. None of it is coming from inside the team.
I guess you've fallen for the smoke screen signal.

Is it okay to trade back for a QB, or does life just stand still until the fans are happy with their QB?

Every team will now have a game at a neutral site, such as Europe, Mexico, and who knows where.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Not liking it, but thinking it.

Actually, I’m just about to turn 65. I do remember a 14 game season and 154 in baseball. I just thought it would keep some continuity.
Ah, well sorry for the gross assumption. However, me too. I'll be 65 next month.
8 more days 'till Medicare..... yay!

Boy, the way that draft fell, if Castonzo retired, I'd have taken Wirfs, otherwise, I may be looking to trade back a little.

This might be heresy but if they are going to 17 games, why not make it so every player has to sit one game? If they don’t do something like that, records (passing and rushing yards for the for example) will not mean as much.
Besides, players are missing games anyway as it is. It would add the strategy as well.
I wish they would leave things as they are but money talks.I'm thinking you may be young (relatively). Us older folks (boy that sounds bad, and was difficult to type) have been through a few such 'changes' and had the same concerns.
We got over it. You will to. Besides, it's not like we have any control over it.
Records are made to be broken, at least that's what they say, even if they need to change the rules to make it so.
Don't worry, our heros of today will be rendered lesser players as time goes by. It happens to everyone.

He should easily go in the 2nd. My favorite WR in draft is Reagor but we already have 2 small fast WRs.
Unless he bombs at the combine I'm sure he will. I just don't want him here.
I'd rather get Mims, Johnson, or the kid from ND later on.

As of now I'm really hoping we don't select Higgins earlier than the 3rd or 4th round.
He was so underwhelming in the playoffs.

Question is: What gets added to the scheduling formula to accommodate the additional regular season schedule?

That would make sense. So would that mean the season starts earlier or finishes later?
It COULD stay the same. Just take preseason week 4, and call it regular season week 1.
It wouldn't add to the post season length either.
Now, that doesn't mean they WOULDN'T move the dates around, but they can certainly fit it into the same number of weeks.

Would you give up #13 for him?
That question goes to @EastStreet too...
I feel 13 would be a little high, but if they could throw in one of their 3s (80 or 81) I'd feel better about it.

So basically: they would add a 7 seed, which would mean only the 1 seed would have a bye in the playoffs...
AND on top of that they want to add a 17th game for the regular season.
I can't see the players being that happy with this idea.
Sure, as fans we would get more football. But it's already a long season for the players.
From what I understand it's two additional games total.
The intention is to cut the preseason to 3 games.
What will we ever do without that last Bengals preseason game.....
I'm wondering if they'll increase the roster size due to less time to evaluate(?).

Doesn't bother me either, just goofing around. With auto correct and me always typing in a hurry and not proofreading much I misspell stuff all the time!
So back to the no sole issue, could this be the reason for all the injuries?
Foot injuries?
Soul would be soft tissue injuries, no?

Not to mention, I don't think he will want to be in the same division as KC and Miller/Chubb.
If he's afraid to face certain other players, he should just retire then.

-High-level accuracy
-The ability to process things
-Strong leadership capabilities
-Some play making with their legs
was the summarization.
Enjoy!!!
I wouldn't mind going for Tua or Herbert in a move up because Tua marks all 4 boxes, while Herbert marks 3 out of 4 to me.
On a side note, I am very much intrigued by Tanner Morgan of Minnesota and want to see how well he does in 2020, he is growing on me with his accuracy, he was ranked 7th in all of FBS behind only Burrow, Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, Ohio State’s Justin Fields, Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts, Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa and Oregon’s Justin Herbert.
I believe Fromm checks 3 of 4 boxes also, though, right?
I didn't review yet, but is that short list intended to be in order, or randomly listed?
