Hey don't be disrespecting the great state of Illinois like that!
Jk, this is the worst state ever!
That's why I'm here.

Josh Rosen is an enigma. Not sure how one would feel if a team is willing to give up on you after 1 year. Former coach calls you "entitled" in an indirect fashion, not sure what to think of him.
If Kyler Murray is drafted 1st by the Cardinals, Rosen is getting traded for sure for a 2nd round pick at worst. Cardinals probably want a 1st, I'd ask them to beat it if they do. They invested a 1st and if they want to get rid of him, it is their problem. They can figure out how to keep him and pay him.
'Entitled' was the knock on Rosen coming out, so the Head Coach shouldn't have been surprised.
Maybe the GM was.
Nothing like a good ol' QB over-reach in the draft.....when you don't need one.

I'd like to state that "BPA" is a gross oversimplification of my own personal draft philosophy.
But personally, depending on how the board falls, I'd be fine with Hockenson. He looks like a ten year starter to me. No to Jacobs, he's a RB who will have a limited career, and not even a particularly dynamic or versatile RB like Barkley or McCaffrey.
I'd think a BPA board without such adjustments would be shortsighted, and 'yes', I wouldn't complain.

The market is pretty barren right now for strong safeties.
Anyone have an opinion on Tre Boston?
Looks like he can play both FS and SS.
Not much more out there beyond this guy.
Tre Boston?
He's impatient.

A thread about nothing?
Out of pure frustration?

I'm going to be fine with all this, as soon as we sign someone in addition to Funchess.
Even if it's re-signing one of our own.

Any comp to Kelvin Benjamin should necessitate a rethinking of the pick.

Call me crazy but if AB continues to put Pitt in a position to lower the asking price, if I’m the Colts I’m ready to deal. If Tyrell Williams is projecting in the 12-13 million range in free agency, I’m willing to pay 4-5 million more to make AB happy to play for the Colts.
You're crazy.

I’ll say this, there’s a lot of “Hate” on this forum for AB and Bell.
theres a rumor that bell hinted on IG that he likes KC.
if bell goes to KC, the outcome of this 2018 playoffs against KC Maybe a preview of what’s to come the next 3-4 years whenever Indy plays KC. I’m just being honest.
just like Indy beats the pats 1/5 times. BTW, Pats won’t be the problem for the next 5-7 years. KC will be the prob as Mahomes will enter his 3rd season on the league after tossing 50 TDs his second season. Give Mahomes his credit just as every Colts fans wants Andrew Luck respected as well.
stop with the hate! If Bell goes to KC = Game Over Indy. We won’t make it to the conference championship. Just being honest. Oh yea, and for those smarty pants that has a rebuttal, Their Oline schooled Indys pass rush in the playoffs. Don’t forget that!
Though it could turn out that way, please excuse me if I don't take your 'opinion' as a foregone conclusion.

For those of us at work, what did he say about Deflategate?
Not much, really.
It was more about it being his first big play in his first playoff game, and he wanted the ball for as a trophy. He never mentioned to anyone that he felt the ball was deflated, and didn't find out about it until he got in his limo going home.
What I don't get is, if he didn't know about it until he got home, what happened at the start of the second half? Wasn't there a long delay to starting the second half? A warning of benches sort of thing?

That was a good view, but what an odd interview set up.
Cowherd looks like he's on a pedestal looking down at his minions.

It sounds more like a prediction simply because of the combo of need and cap space more than an actual rumor. Or hype floated by an agent.
Yep, or the legal tampering period has no limits.

This will be the year to do it with Mr. Kraft having his financials tied up in a criminal investigation.
The refs usual golden goose will probably have his lawyers in his ear about not doing anything with his money to make the situation any "harder" than it already is by "soliciting" the officials...
Between a rock and a hard place, so to speak?

All they really need is enough cap room to buy off one official, and they're set.

I get that these draft simulators are unrealistic to various degrees. However, this one seems WAAAY off course, and though I could not care less, and do not represent NCF, that may be the cause of his dismay. Maybe he'd feel better about it if this particular 'simulator' was posted in the Fantasy Football & Gaming section(?)
Heck, when FF practice drafts come up, many offer what you'd think is a realistic feel of how things may fall, and you can develop a strategy for your real draft. Others become a big waste of time because the first five people draft their favorite QBs...
Carry on.....

Chauncey Gardner Johnson I like. I haven't looked at some of the others.
A lot of names have been mentioned. I'm not qualified to make the selection, so would trust Ballard.

If they resign Geathers which I think Ballard will, then I don't see them aquiring Collins also.
I'd think it less likely, but I wouldn't rule it out completely.
I won't be surprised to draft another safety, though.

If the Colts had any interest in Collins why would they be trying to resign Clayton Geathers is my question?
Because interest may be a one way street, and we may not know Collin's thoughts until next week(?).

Not to mention he tested horribly at the combine and blew his interviews. I'm not seeing him in a Colts uniform.
If you're looking for an impact pass rusher that could fall to #26, Brian Burns fits that bill.
And it's really too bad about Polite, as you'd like as many guys, as possible, who you're not interested in, to be picked ahead of you. Push more of real interest down to us.
