  1. If we are just talking about which one I like more it's Reggie. Reggie became one of my top three all-time favorite Colts when he elected to stay this past off-season.

Before marvin was injured, reggie was never emerging as the number. He was clearly the number two.

As for who is the better player? It's Marvin Harrison and that is NO slap at Reggie. Reggie is going to go down as one of the best WRs in Colts history and of his generation. Marvin Harrison stacks up as one of the top five greatest WRs to ever play the game. I think people forget just how good Marvin was during the prime of his career. People also forget during years that Marvin put up his best numbers our second, third, and fourth best receiving threats were two tightends and a runningback before you got to the next best WR on the roster. While that might have inflated Marvin's numbers some in terms of throws going his way it also meant teams focused on trying to take Marvin away alone and still couldn't do it.

It's really sad Marvin had the knee injury that really ended his career. While he was slowing down a little bit and Reggie was emerging as the clear number one on the team had Marvin not gotten hurt I think he would have gone on for a few more years at a pretty high level. With that said Marvin retired in the top three in just about every single passing record there was for a career. Had he stayed healthy I think he would have been second to only Jerry Rice in just about every single one of them when he retired.

  2. I'm 25.. Been a Colts fan since 95' my first real fond memory were the years of The Comeback Kid Jim Harbaugh,Marshal Faulk and the hail mary drop in the end zone in the AFC Championship against the Steelers.

I'm excited for the future. Absolutely love Andrew Luck and all the new faces and talent that are coming into the league and joining the blue and white.

But it's e faces of old, they are the ones I'm always going to remember.. I grew up on them, so how could I not?

I'm just going to just give our a personal thank you for a few of my favorite Colts players in the past in no particular order.

    Peyton Manning,Marvin Harrison,Jeff Saturday,Tarik Glenn,Brandon Stokley,Jim Harbaugh,Marshal Faulk,Edgerrin James,Bob Sanders,Dallas Clark,Ken Dilger,Marcus Pollard,Marcus Washington,Mike Peterson,David Thornton and Chad Cota.

Im also 25 and remember jim harbaughs 95 playoff run. Those were my earliest memories.

  3. For everyone who is blaming the safety for giving up the TD bomb, Stop it! The game didn't end then. There was a whole extra quarter of football. The Broncos D, in over time, shut the Ravens offense down, that is, until Peyton threw a horrible pick which pretty much set the Ravens in field goal range.

It's not like the ravens got the ball first in over time and drove down the field and scored the game winning touchdown with out Manning having a chance. Manning had plenty of chances in over time. He just unfortunately had a bad quarter.

  4. I know that must have been very difficult to say southwest. Unfortunately, I came to this realization several yrs. ago and at that time it also pained me badly to admit that Manning is for lack of a better term, just a choker in the playoffs. For yrs. I argued with Pats fans about that and made every excuse in the world for him and to this day still think if Manning would have had better defenses here in Indy, he would have at least a couple more SB rings.

With that said though, many of Mannings playoff failures are on him. He just gets rattled in the playoffs and makes stupid decisions. we repeatably lost to inferior teams that we should have destroyed in the playoffs but without fail, Manning would let us down. I still really like Manning as a man and as one of the all time great regular season QB's ever. He put Indy on the map in the football world and I will forever be grateful to him as an ex-Colt.

I won't make excuses for him any longer though, now that he is no longer a Colt. I can look more subjectively on his career here and am ecstatic that we now have a QB that seems to have ice water running through his veins come crunch time. I know this seems to be very harsh towards Manning and maybe it is, but it is the way I have felt for several yrs..

Yeah I used to defend Manning too but now that he plays for Denver I can look at him objectively. I can also look at our past playoff losses objectively and clearly see that it was just as much the offenses fault for the playoff losses.

In the 03 AFCCG, Manning through a bevy of pics.

In the 04 divisional round, we scored 3 freaking points againat the Pats. Only THREE!

In 05 the offense was just dead against the Steelers.

Manning played okay in the 06 playoffs.

In 07, I feel Manning played well in the playoffs.

In 08, he couldn't get a first down to seal the game.

In 09, he threw a pick 6 to seal the game.

And in 2010, his last game, I can't really blame Manning.

It's funny how this season was no better or worse than the Manning seasons. We won at least 10 games and went one and done.

The decision to move on from Manning was right.

It's also funny how reminiscent Denver's season was to all of our old seasons with Manning under center.

Let's hope our new Colts do better than the old!

  5. I'm sorry but the little man stole the show in that picture! You gotta love kids, come on...

It's funny how mean joe just throws his nasty, dirty towel on the kid after the kid gives him a coke.

Doesn't everyone want a sultry towel thrown on them as repayment?

  6. Point is the loss wasn't purely on Peyton's shoulders.
But the Quarterback position is paramount. So when you have "the greatest QB of all time" and all you need for him to do is drive the field to get in field goal range and he throws an interception at horrible field position... How is it not his fault? It was horrible. Just like when Manning threw the pick 6 in the Super Bowl.

The special teams even spotted Manning 14 points. Also in over time, which is like a new game, the defense stopped the Ravens for the whole quarter. The Highly paid QB for the Broncos couldn't even get in field goal position.

I am a die hard Colts fan and I love Manning. Grew up watching him play. I didn't even want us to cut him. I wanted us to trade the pick away. And I have been super critical of Luck. But now that I can see Manning play for another team i can view him objectively and I have to say he isn't THAT great. I'm glad Irsay made the decision.

I was rooting for the Ravens and told my girlfriend to watch Manning throw an interception and he did. He did it for the Colts now watch him do it again.

And the Colts teams were not bad teams which Manning glued together. I'm tired of people saying that the broncos is the best team he has been on.
