It's sooo weird hearing him say "we" are facing the Colts and how the Colts are a good team. He was the Colts for so long, it's still weird to see him talk about them as being separate.
-
Yeah I have no clue what you're talking about.
-
I'm pretty sure the Colts will choose to keep Nicks if he plays like an elite receiver. I don't get some of the posters and the infatuation with Brazil, Whalen and Rogers. They are just guys.
-
Let's clear one thing up. Hakeem Nicks has never "sucks"ed. He's been injured and last year he dealt with a crap offense and QB (Victor Cruz's numbers weren't much better).
Yeah I wonder if anyone remembers Randy Moss when he played for the Raiders.
-
Drop Richardson and sign MJD. That sounds like a plan.

Where does this say the colts are one of the teams?
I think you have to read it from the bottom to the top.
-
No... The 2-14 team was not the same as the 2012-2013 team... Lots of different players. With that being said...Pagano took a 2-14 team and made them into consecutive 11-5 teams. With more turnover in roster personnel than any other team in the league, and with a rookie/2nd year QB. You gotta be kidding me with your complaints about 'inferior coaching', pal.
I don't see any reason to change coaches.

Shouldn't Fleener be considered a solid starter?
-
They are all good young QBs. The difference between Luck and the rest of the group is his ability to improve. I don't see Cam Newton or Kap continuing to get better every year... They are what they are but Luck will continue to get better EVERY season.
Luck has a different mentality than almost any other QB. Brunnell may be right that, at this point, Luck is worse than those guys.... BUT he will become the best of the group and I truly feel he will be the best in the NFL about 3 years from now.
Why do you feel that Luck has the ability and the others have hit a plateau?
-
Props to Polian....
-
How is it lame because I want to share my opinion? So you weren't critical of any other team in 2011 when YOU went 2-14? Get the hell out.
Lol it's not lame at all. Don't know what the posters problem is. (Shrugs shoulders)

Remember that guy who found a way to screw up the coin toss at the SB this year?
That's Joe Namath. Former Jets QB.
Oh okay... Thanks.

I don't find the final score to be biggest factor in what made 18-1 humiliating, but it was part of it.
It's the culmination of all of the chest thumping of the media/many Pats fans of how the Giants had no chance and how this was the best team ever assembled. Brady mocking the G-men's D with his "only 17 points" quote just compounded the issue.
Agreed...
-
no they don't
IMO they do.
-
and my take is, if you lose by 1 or 50 its the exact same outcome. They made it to the final two. They didn't get it done. But they really have nothing to be ashamed of or guilty about
Yeah they have a lot to be ashamed of.... They played like the Jags.
-
have you ever heard a player losing in the superbowl say it was ok, because they only lost by 3?
By not feeling embarrassed by losing by 3, doesn't mean one is satisfied from losing.
-
Does the losing team get a medal or trophy for keeping it close?
No but its not humiliating...
The Pats losing by three is no where near as humiliating as losing by 40.
Wasn't that the point of the thread?

2007 Patriots. Undefeated status on the line. Unique situation and probably would have been heralded as the best team in NFL history. Although even if they won the SB that year I personally wouldn't even consider them the best Patriots team, let alone in all of NFL history. Imo the best Pats team was 2004 whether they won the SB or not. That team was amazing.
In the eyes of many if the Pats went 19-0 they'd be the GOAT.
They dominated themselves on the first snap with a fantastic display of ineptitude. Then the Seahawks made them their female dogs for sixty minutes.
Any time Denver got something going, the Seahawks either made a play or Denver found a way to screw it up. Or both at the same time.
I'd say the Bronco beatdown is maybe #3 or 4. Us losing to the Broadway Joe and the Jets way back when was pretty bad so I'd put that at #2.
Lol who is the Broadway Joe?
-
it doesn't really matter. Lose by 1 or 50, its all the same
It really does matter... And its not the same...
-
How is the 07 Pat's super bowl even comparable?
Although not a super bowl, I think the 04 divisional Colts playoff game.e against the pats was pretty humiliating. They didn't even score a touchdown.
-
The Seahawks look to be good for a while.
Sounds like sour grapes.
Sounds like jealousy.
Sounds like someone's hating!!
And why is everyone comparing QB s to Wilson. All the disparaging remarks. Trying to discredit him as ssub par???
Wilson did what he had to do. He did his job. He didn't throw any picks and he answered the lone broncos score.
The Seahawks were hands down the best team in the league this year. Will they stay that way forever...
No... Nothing lasts forever. Everything will perish. Even the sun and along with it.... The Earth.
So what's the point of these threads?
All I know is the Colts beat the best teams of the league! We are on a good path!
-
Look at the bright side. We beat both of those teams.
2014-2015 Season is the year of the COLTS! Representing the AFC in the big game.
Yeah that is really something to feel good about this off season. Now let's just beat the beat the teams we are suppose to beat also and it's possible we will get the number 1 seed!
Go Colts!

I'm referring to the Colts special teams since forever. They've just always stunk until recently outside Vinny.
We had another good kicker with Vandy, but we all know what happened there.
The epitome of the suckage was the opening kickoff TD return in the 2006 SB. In fairness it was Hester, but that just shouldn't happen.
Lol yeah our special teams sucked! Remember Troy "fair catch" Walters?
today is a very special day
