1. Point is the loss wasn't purely on Peyton's shoulders.
But the Quarterback position is paramount. So when you have "the greatest QB of all time" and all you need for him to do is drive the field to get in field goal range and he throws an interception at horrible field position... How is it not his fault? It was horrible. Just like when Manning threw the pick 6 in the Super Bowl.

The special teams even spotted Manning 14 points. Also in over time, which is like a new game, the defense stopped the Ravens for the whole quarter. The Highly paid QB for the Broncos couldn't even get in field goal position.

I am a die hard Colts fan and I love Manning. Grew up watching him play. I didn't even want us to cut him. I wanted us to trade the pick away. And I have been super critical of Luck. But now that I can see Manning play for another team i can view him objectively and I have to say he isn't THAT great. I'm glad Irsay made the decision.

I was rooting for the Ravens and told my girlfriend to watch Manning throw an interception and he did. He did it for the Colts now watch him do it again.

And the Colts teams were not bad teams which Manning glued together. I'm tired of people saying that the broncos is the best team he has been on.

  2. Manning made a bad decision, it happens.

Denver's D fell apart and Flacco ripped them a new one.

Yes Peyton probably should of took the sack and punted the ball, but as you all see with Luck, Griffin, Rodgers and even Kaepernick, you try and make something out of nothing.

Hell, if Champ Bailey didn't look like a deer in the headlights the whole game, things might of been different. If Denver didn't give up that long TD at the end of regulation, Denver goes on to win. Not everything can be tied to Peyton. The day he starts playing defense, he can be looked at it's all his fault.

If Balt didn't give up two return touchdowns to Holiday, then maybe the Ravens win decisively.

  3. The Ravens D had a little something to do with that. They were getting to Manning a lot and his mistakes came as a result of pressure. The Broncos D was not getting a lot of heat on Flacco there you go. In today's NFL generally speaking the team that gets to the other teams QB more wins.

With that said it was still a rookie mistake by Manning. It's not okay but he should have never been in that spot to start with. It doesn't make the INT okay but people need to not lose sight of the Broncos refusing to adjust their defense and letting the Ravens keep beating them over the top. It's time people in this league start to respect Flacco's ability to go down the field. He's killing teams with it.

You could say the Ravens should not have been in that position. The Broncos were essentially spotted 14 easy points by Holiday.

  4. I agree the dance made me want to puke. What a classless piece of crap. It was disrespectful to the whole Colts team, and yes narcissistic is exactly what it was. I don't care what kind of career you've had, its no reason to act like a buffone. It wasn't about winning, it was all about Ray. He represnts everything that is wrong with sports, Ray Lewis was the gateway to all the other * that came along and made everthing about themselves and not the team, Terell "T O" Owens, Chad " Ocho Sinco "Johnson, Ray "Ray Ray" Lewis, all attention whores, Now people want to defend these classless acts and say its OK he was playing his last game and did a little dance, sore loser. One, is not a sore loser if they expect someone to act with class, and a great career or a win is no reason to act without class, nor does it excuse it. I'm so glad I will never have to see this fake, play football again, or hear him speak about god or the lord, right after acting like a fool. Wonder what the lord thought of that selfish act.

Yeah that's how I feel. It was all about Ray. Narcissism at it's finest. Then bring god in to it... hahahahaha... as if him playing his last home game is significant when it comes to the trials and tribulations of the human race... hahaha...

    Made me laugh actually.

  5. Thanks GoColts8818!

All I have to say about the Ray dance and Reggie's response, is be quiet Reggie. Probably my favorite player, Reggie is, but in this case he needs to keep it shut. One of the greatest players is playing his last game at home, and he does a little dance on the last play, and he gets mad. Signs of a soar loser.

I agree with Reggie. The dance was disrespectful and narcissistic. It was pretty sickening.

  6. Before Reggie re-signed, my job was a drag, my boss kept ridin' me. I couldn't sleep (except at work). My family talked mean about me behind my back AND to my face. I was broke and very unpopular on this forum.

That all changed when Reggie m' man re-signed. Thank you Reggie..... Thank you

    That was pretty hilarious!

  7. Much better teams then what the Colts were that year have not went as far, Caldwell deserves credit, That team was not near as good as some remember, you could have coached a team where Robert Mathis missed two games and only started 9? a team where Sanders only played 2 games, Clint Session only played in 14, Lets not discredit Caldwell, The guy made some questionable decisions during games but give the man credit, He had a hand in getting them to the SB

    I agree. Well said.

  8. I don't understand how people don't want us to play Denver. First off, while I think we definitely are much better than we showed against the Pats earlier this season, I think the Pats offense is a terrible match up for our defense with the quick routes. Why would we want to play a team again that blew us out with ease before unless we absolutely had to?

Second, though, and more importantly, how can you not want to see Peyton face the Colts? Yes, it would be a media circus, and I know Peyton will be coming to LOS next year, but this would be in the playoffs. I think the game would be absolutely electric in atmosphere. And to be honest, I think it would affect Peyton more than it would affect Luck or the other Colts players, at least from the standpoint of facing each other. Peyton is human, and I think this would mentally be a big game for him after the Colts chose to go the Luck route this past off-season. It would be interesting to see how he played in response. This would also still be an incredibly tough game for the Colts to win, but I do think we would have a better chance here than against the Pats in Foxboro in mid-January.

However, at this point this is all just talk. The team is by no means guaranteed to beat Baltimore.

    I agree 100%

We would lose to either one imo and we have already seen the Colts face the Patriots. So i don't feel like seeing that rerun. The rivalry is over with.

We have not seen the Broncos yet. It would be way more entertaining! Manning vs Colts... Bring it!

    Go Houston and Go Colts!
