  1. Just because something was considered acceptable before, doesn't mean it will always be acceptable. Peterson hit his kid with a tree branch and hit him hard enough to cause bleeding. Things change over time; that's how societies make progress

I agree that whipping to the point of making him bleed is too far however I'm 21 years old and all growing up I would get whipped with willow tree switches, a wooden spatula, bare hands and all that good stuff. But I would say I gained from it because it taught me not to do that or there will be a PAINFUL consaqence. Then again it also depends on the kid if he/she is rebellious and won't listen to what you say/don't respect you as a parent then by all means spank him or her. Now if the kid listens and respects you then there is no need to spank/whip them. Bottom line is we don't know the details leading up to the situation...
  2. Your are right need the talent to a certain degree and I hope the coaches open their eyes on this, But talent goes only so far it is up to the coaches to get the most out of the players they have and so far the coaching staff has under performed in getting this players mentally ready for some of this game. and I understand if a couple of players having a bad day but when your entire defense gets blown out in two games and the camera looks at the DC and he looks totally lost then their is a promblem.

yep agree 200,000,000%. Excellent Coaches are what make a good team GREAT!. And sadly we have no excellent coaches... Just mediocre.
  3. They have it now where you can get in on PlayStation 3 & 4 & your Tablet or Mobile Device

But still, not everyone has those either

But at least you don't have to have DirecTV to have it

yeah but isn't that like 450 bucks or some assinine amount lol. My wife would Kill me if I spent that much for football coverage haha
  4. When the games over I'm either elated or depressed. I'm worried about my behavior before and during. I've been able to mitigate my issues by boycotting live broadcasts, but I feel like I'm losing something by not being a part of the live experience. I would kill to be able to nonchalantly watch games. I envy those people.

well that's just what it is, a game. Its not a life or death scenario lol. So I find it helps me relax to watch it as a game and try not to care about the outcome because does it affect me personally... But just my 2 cents haha
  5. Yeah I'm sure Seattle knew that as well. Easier said than done

yeah but Seattle has the lightest roster in the nfl. Their D-fence is made to rush the passer, not stop the run. On the other hand our roster is the fattest in the NFL. So let's see if we can stop Murray cuz them lightweights couldnt lol.
  6. Care to explain the football reasoning behind this? :loco:

I don't have a football reason for it lol. It just seems like luck was better with less recievers . I know it sounds crazy. But maybe he is overwhelmed with all these weapons. Just like at a job were your boss gives you to big a work load. Your efficiency and performance will drop.. IDK just a thought haha!. But I also think pep has a lot to do with lucks/offense struggles.
  7. I agree with you that HOF talk is way too early. One serious injury and he doesn't come close to that. It shouldn't even be mentioned for at least another ten years. I am also concerned that he always has a low passer rating and I am more concerned that he doesn't really seem to be improving. That is 9 INTs in the last four games he has played. That is not a HOF QB at work.

is it possible to make a good QB average by giving him too many good weapons on offense. I mean Hilton,nicks,Wayne,Allen,fleenor.... Too much of anything is a bad thing IMO
