  1. I believe they haven't ruled him out yet from a buisiness stand point, fans will buy more tickets because they still have hope that luck will play the first couple games of the season. If the colts come out and say he is out the first 4 games of the season. How many tickets would they sell for those games?

  2. We are not "spoiled colts fans" for wanting this team to come out fast, aggressive and confident. Not laid back and slow. That falls on the head coach directly. I dont care if we win or lose preseason games, but what i do know is we should be coming out to play hard no matter what, do anything to win regardless if it counts or not, get guys confidence levels up that way we are ready for the regular season intensity. The way i look at preseason is 4 games to ramp uo your intensity, confidence and effort for regular season games. Not lull ourselves to sleep with coasting players.

  3. I think the smartest thing they can do is find a good coach, that is also a GM, that way he knows exactly what players fit his scheme. I like the way the patriots use billichik, now I also know it has been done before, and billichik may be the exception to the rule, but I say we try it. A couple people I could see successfully doing that would be Gruden and or Manning. Both have knowledge of the game. And both know talent when they see it.

  4. Yes this game brought back flashes of last years team and worse, but im feeling pretty optamistic still (even though i am one of the more pessamistic people on this forum), Only because i think the eagles are playing their absolute best in this preseason. I mean look what they did to the steelers last week? 17-0 we all know that the steelers are not a bad football team. What i think is happening is the colts are being as basic as they can be in the preaseason for a reason. They will come out week one on fire with very good playcalling that they never showed in preseason they are being vanilla for a purpose I feel. Here is to hoping mewhort is okay!

  5. I don't think there's been this many injuries to QBs in recent history. It's insanity. Could definitely explain why so many teams are sub .500 this season.

to me along with so many qbs getting injured I also noticed that alot more defenses are playing high intensity, fast, hard hitting defense this year, maybe there is a correlation? Or it could just be me? Lol it just seems like defenses are alot nastier than in years past.
  6. Right now, as we play... I can see us go 0-16, cause we stink all over the field.

Changes are needed all over the team, and then its time to move on from PEP Hamiltons offense.

Might not happen mid season, but aftes this one, he and pagan is gone.

We need to clean up and build another monster, cause this one dont scare anyone.

Jets and Bills are okay teams, but our goal is to beat brady and co, and we are miles away from even coming close to them at the moment.

Sad to say so, but im not sure we are the best team in the south this year.

    Changes need to be made.

"Wait till next year and everything will change" I hear that from pretty much everybody on this board. I was mad when the colts kept pagano over arians, I was mad that they traded for T Rich, I'm just Ticked at this entire colts organization. I've been waiting for an aggressive, great team since arians left but guess what? No bueno. I'm tired of waiting for this team to get better with chucklez, pep and grigson at the helm. This team is softer than cotten and I hate waiting 8 months every year for something to change. This team is the definition of insanity.. I'm out.
  7. The only way the Colts defense doesn't get better is if it suffers lots of injuries.

    Otherwise, they will get better.

On one of the ESPN football insider shows, one former exec basically said defenses look so terrible the first few weeks of the season, because (A) starters don't play much in the pre-season anymore, and (B) the amount of hitting has been cut way back from what was once allowed.

The upshot is that teams are still figuring things out the first few weeks of the regular season.

The Colts defense will get better. For me that isn't the question. The question is...... HOW MUCH BETTER?!?

And for that one, I have no idea..... (at least, not yet....)

if that truly is the case, then why wasn't the bills defense playing bad too?
