  1. McCoy is questionable for week 1. He misses it they don't really have a quality healthy running back. Aside from that, the Colts did a good job keeping McCoy in check week 1 last year.

The pass rush is the real problem, but I dont think they have anywhere near enough on the offensive side to pull out a W. Also, they would need a secondary on par with the 2014 Patriots to contain all the Colts skill players. If they had a half serviceable QB things would be different.

don't count out Tyrod Taylor, I've been a fan of his since he was with the ravens. He is more than just a serviceable QB. Don't count out the bills, I'm a colts fan, but I am dreading this game.
  2. I don't see Anderson has getting a lot of sacks. DTs don't often get sacks, but he doesn't look really quick enough to get to the QB. I think he can penetrate and cause problems in the running game, especially with 6.6 height and length. But my concern is that teams will negate that quickness when he is on the field and will look to run right at him have drive him back because of his narrow lower body.

Basically, I don't think his college tape translates well to the pros. He may do well due to technique and quickness, and he's only a third round pick, but folks who say this was a steal I think are going to be disappointed, IMO.

Werner would be okay if he was drafted where Anderson was.I couldn't agree more!

  3. Ever wonder why Raiders go through HCs so fast? After Flores retired, the team went down hill. Never built a balanced team. Always went after speed receivers ( as said on this board last nite, speed kills). Yes it kills, Coaches careers, GM's careers. Speed is good if player is complete package (see Amari Cooper).

Twice now Grigson has drafted speed receivers that are not complete. Al Davis did that after Flores retired and look where they are now.

Time to think and question Grigson's board in the draft.

its hard to disagree with you, I have lost a lot of respect for grigson after this pick. What a headscratcher. But that being said we will see what happens by the end of the draft. I hope grigson isn't as dumb as I'm starting to think he is.
  4. I'm sorry we have to get D-Line help if we want to win a SB.

Every year it's the same story some mediocre Patriots RB goes for 200 yards and at least 2 or 3 TD's on our terrible run defense. The Pat's beat us by like 40 points and they don't even use their 2 best offensive players all that much. Brady and Gronk basically take the day off and watch some mediocre RB look like he's back playing high school ball as he rushes for like 8 yards per carry.

If we arn't interested in improving our run defense, then honestly we're not interested in winning a SB because we arn't going to get past the Pats like this. Yes we improved our offense and their secondary took a huge hit. No one cares. Because we arn't going to win without at the very least trying to make Tom Brady into more then just a game manager.

its the scheme, our personnel match up very well IMO. Its the fact that we consistently get out coached and out prepared.
  5. Don't know much about him, other than he's injury prone. Maybe if he comes in on a cheap "prove it" deal. I hope he's not another Landry on the field.

he would be a bad signing IMO. He reminds me a lot of Bob sanders, very hard hitting safety and ball hawk but his body just won't keep up with his play style.
  6. He's a beast, but if Gurley's healthy, he's a special type RB man, and I would put Gordon ahead of Coleman too. Like I said, Coleman is a monster and he's going to be great IMO, but I just think those two are a little better than him. My top 5 RB's are Gurley, Gordon, Coleman, Abdullah, and Johnson. I would love Coleman in the 2nd after we get a defensive player in the 1st.

do you think Coleman would fall to us in the 2nd?
  7. Now here me out, out of the top HB in this draft who had a worse supporting cast in college than Coleman? I just think that if he's there when we pick with the 29th selection we have to take him. He has the running style the colts need with our o-line. He is viscious running between the tackles, accelerates to full speed with the flip of a switch and does not get tackled down by shoe lace tackles!. Some might think the first round is to early for him but I think we can't pass on him. Your thoughts?
