yes I was so excited to see what boyett could do when we released be the a then I found out we let him go because he was caught drunk. What a waste of talent he coulda been a beast.Well... in Grigson's first draft he took Brazil in the 6th round and Harnisch in the 7th. There were other guys like Anderson, but two stuck.
Last year, he took Boyett in the 6th and he would've made the team if not for his silly night of drinking....
Otherwise Williams and Cunningham didn't make it.
I'll take those results.... he's got solid hits in each of his first two drafts on the last two rounds....

agreed I think they'll woop on us all year long! If our defense don't get drastically betterLook, nobody wants to admit it, but Houston is looking scary good. They already give us all that we can handle. If they are able to get a good QB, then we're in for a real dogfight every year.
Hands down they have the better defense.

get off of grigsons " big board". Bottom line is our o-line is still bad. And not to mention our d-line and secondary!!. I'm not saying he is a bust but we could of drafted him later ( I.e) traded down and got him as well as more picks. Or pick someone who is better.( Chris Borland, ealy, Preston brown, Marcus martin, mcgill,Gabe jackson, or brooks. My point is he is not the answer for the o-line and he's not any better than Thornton who is not a difference maker at all. I still don't understand the trade he made for Richardson we could have gotten a great player in this years first round but no grigson has to be special and different and trade for someone who we benched in the playoff games..odds are Ballard\bradshaw comes back and trent never sees the top of the depth chart again.. I hope that Trent proves me wrong but he ain't gunna get any better by us taking mewhort.. Somehow Ballard and Bradshaw found lots of room to run... But the number 3 overall pick can't?.. I'm just fed up with bad drafting. Was grigsons first draft good?... Yes I can agree with that but his drafts since then have been underwhelming to say the least.. But until you open your eyes and look for yourself instead of " in grigson we trust". #1 rule in life don't trust anybody!.. Rant off!!I wish Grigson would have drafted someone who's name you knew instead of the player he felt was best so you would feel better right now.
No, not really
Well if you would have sent YOUR big board to Grigson then maybe he could have gotten it right.

yeah but most of the time those "big names" are downright playmakers.. Which we need. So I say to grigson put your pride down and draft some gosh darn defense now and make it somebody who can play and plays with a certain meanstreak\swagger I am done with this team constantly getting man handled and injury riddled. The time to get o-line is in free agency or in the first round IMO. So for the love of god draft a starting defensive player!!. I know we have interior o-line problems but were stuck with another year of them because I'm telling you right now mewhort is not the answer..Every forum member has their heart on who Grigson should draft. The real fans are the ones who can accept that their favorite players didn't get drafted by their favorite team.
Grigson said from day 1 he does not chase big names. And to this day that statement holds true. You'd lose count trying to count on your fingers how many people Grigson has signed/drafted that had the forum pulling up Google faster than a toddler can pull a pull-up up. The man knows what/who he wants & doesn't care who doesn't like it.
My advice to everyone is sit back & just enjoy the ride

This team will do anything not to draft playmakers it seems like!

The rest of the AFC south is getting armed!... And we freaking pick jack newhort whoever the heck he is..I'm sure we could a at least traded back!!!!

Stanley jean baptist to colts.. I'm calling it
-
Well at least well have our choice of running backs lol
-
-
What is Seattle doing lol.. Must be stock piling picks
-
so let's take him Gavin lol its the colts way to draft players that get injured a lot it seems likeHe is a 330+ pound D Lineman with knee tendonitis already, Is recovering from a meniscus tear and had a pectoral issue which would not allow him to bench press at the Combine, I'd be shocked if he went at 33...I'd actually be surprised if he dont free fall into the 3rd, Lots of better players available
-
All hope ain't lost yet fellas. Yes last night was hard to stomach but Stanley jean baptist is there McGill is there lots of online are there jonathon Dowling I think could be a marvelous pick near the middle of the draft.. So keep your chins up chaps it ain't over till its over

Completely agree 100% jerry Hughes has a wayyyyy higher ceiling than Sheppard!.To this day I mark that as Grigson's worst trade. Hughes is better than Sheppard
-
maybe he is gunna be our starting safety opposite of LandryMy thoughts exactly moves like a safety and is a great takler, Not sure how great his cover skills are but he seems better suited in the secondary IMO.

Yep you can't fix stupid. What a jack Wang!

I would love to draft jeramiah Attacks-u

Stanley jean-baptist... the guy is super physical and is a ball hawk... At 6-3 220 pounds he is the corner i always wanted the colts to have... but thats IF he falls to us...

I have the same concerns with Toler. This is the NFL. If a player cant stay healthy they should be replaced IMO. We could have cut Toler, and signed someone like Antonio Cromartie for about the same amount. I do think we'll draft a CB in the 3rd though. Maybe they can step up once Toler inevitably goes down. I wish SJB, McGill, or Desir would be there in the 3rd. Any of those guys would be a good pickup.
you think SJB will fall into the 3rd round?...
-
I would assume that if he could stay healthy and produce the Giants would have kept him. ;)
You know what happens when you assume things. It makes an A** out of U and ME!. ;)
-
Anything else you need to get off your chest!.. !Colts are going to have the same horrible line that they've always had, freaking horrible signing if not worse. I can't believe how foolish and *ic they are to do this. No chance at the super bowl for sure now. Hope they are happy when Luck gets injured because that seems to be what they want with the horrid o-lines they've put in front of him. So extremely disappointed.

I actually think Dewey mcdonald will be great competition for Howell( we picked him up last night in the in drafted free agent frenzy). he looks like a beast on tape. But once again that's on tape lol.
