Really Owens?? I bet he doesn't last more than 2 weeks. I almost new BB was going to cut Harper after the fumbled Punt, That really cost you guys the game more than anything.
Pats are not signing him at age 42. I was just more commenting on what great shape he has kept himself in. But he is all done. Has not played in the NFL since 2010.

Patriots are going to sign Terrell Owens, obviously.
Owens has kept himself in great shape. I will say that for him.

No, it's against the rules to post links etc. To other forums. Not a conversation that took place there. Thanks for not pretending like it didn't happen.
No. I was told all talk of other forums is not permitted here. Talk to the Mods if you want but I am not going to break the rules. But again, happy to discuss on PM anything you want.

Why are you so fake? Your tune on orange mane is far different than it is here. Why is that?
It is against forum rules here to discuss content on other forums so feel free to PM and we can discuss anything you like about the Mane, PP, etc.

Are you saying at no point did you try to say peyton was a bad teammate for not traveling with the team last week?
There was a thread posted on it. More than one I think. Like I said, there are lots of stories swirling. This is a very volatile situation on many fronts with Denver trying to manage things but as I said, I do think it has been tough on Manning and he probably has not dealt with things well. I think it was good of Brock to mention what he did at halftime to quell some of the negativity coming from the media. Brock already seems like a savvy guy to me which is good news for Denver.

Funny how you and a few others are singing a different tune about Peyton helping out his teammates.
What tune? I did not write the other stories that were being posted here by others. As with anything, there are lots of things swirling. I am sure this has been a difficult transition for Peyton. Not sure how it could not be given he was the starter and then sat down for injury. It is nice to see that Brock feels that he helped him at halftime as that is what is all about.

Stories like these make me think Peyton would be a fantastic QB coach. He is pretty much a coach on the field so he could be a great coach/mentor to any QB.
-
Good for Matt Schaub. This really is the year of the back up QB in the NFL.
-
More likely a sign that Amendola is coming back. Pats plan to re-sign Harper to practice squad if he clears waivers.
-
I never saw Joe Montana throw a hissy fit. Certainly not multiple fits in the same game
Every player expresses their competitiveness differently. I'll take Brady and his four rings any day. Joe too.
-
Plenty of competitive players in every sport don't throw girly tantrums and throw out excuses as to why their team lost.
And plenty don't have four rings either.
-
Brady is never happen after a loss. Par for the course. His competitive drive is one of the biggest factors for his success.
-
Gronk being Ok is bigger than losing the game. We will need everyone to make a legit post-season push toward S.F.

Some of the closest games you guys have had over the years is in your own division with the Dolphins beating you guys in Miami the past two seasons.
True. Division games are always tough but have you see the Phins this year? They are awful with their interim coach. Pats blew them out in Foxboro. By the time end of the season has come they will be all mailed in. Jets in NY could be tougher but the Jets have spiraled down the last month. They are at least in the hunt for a WC.
-
Depending on how long Gronk is out, they could drop the Miami game to close out the year. Jets have also had success beating the Patriots at home. Anything is possible.
It was just a bruise. He can play this week.
They will not lose to either the putrid Jets or Phins. Houston is the only tough game left on the road.
-
They'll play NE tough, and then give up 500 passing yards to Brees, or 200+ rushing yards to Dallas.
I'd actually pick the Skins to win that division, given that they are 5-0 at home. They could finish the season undefeated at home and win the division by just winning one road game. They're currently winless on the road, but that will change when they play Dallas.
They finish 8-0 at home, then 1-7 on the road, it's still 9-7.
I do not know why everyone thinks the Giants are this great team just cause they play New England close. You're right, they live to play New England, it's the only thing they're useful for, but then are average in every other game. The Saints broke records putting up offensive numbers on that pathetic defense. We've seen them time and time again get destroyed on defense, meanwhile everyone picks them just cause they're so desperate to see the Patriots lose.
At best the Giants will finish 9-7 or 8-8. There is no way I would pick them against Minnesota or Carolina. The Giants defense has gotten thrashed by the run game, and Peterson currently is the leading RB of the league, he's bound to have a big day against them. Carolina will beat them too, given the Giants can't keep up with semi-good defenses, and they currently are the last great defense left that they play.
Washington has the easier schedule to close out, and I'd put it on them to go 8-0 at home.
The Skins have been coming on lately. They got destroyed by the two best teams in the league in the Pats and Panthers but as you say they have the better records in the division in conference. Not sure I really trust Gruden just yet but his team is playing tough and Cousins has been better than expected.
The Giants get overhyped every year but in particular when it is 4 years because they won their SBs 4 yrs apart but they are not on the same planet as the Panthers or Cards and like you, I would not pick them vs the Vikings or Seattle for that matter.

Say what now?
I was intentionally being hyperbolic.
-
They have a great chance at 16-0.
-
Hilarious. Russell Wilson just game managed for 345 yards passing and 5 TDs.
He's currently on pace for 4000 yards passing and 600 yards rushing and has a 102.9 qb rating. He's arguably having his best season and he's been doing it behind a crap OL and without Marshawn Lynch.
What in your opinion has happened to the Seattle defense this year, especially the pass defense? Are they missing the DC?
-
Matt has been great. He has exceeded everyone's expectations
He has but I don't think the media at large has given him is due or your new OC. I think they were having more fun burying the Colts and now don't want to talk about a turn around story but that is what is happening with Matt.
-
Well I would like to say that surprises me but it doesn't. Suh and "leader" just don't go together. The fact that the Phins have almost half their pay roll tied up this guy warms my heart.
-
Perhaps the best news of the day for Pats fans anyways:
The news on Rob Gronkowski seems to be getting better and better by the minute.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Gronkowski is unlikely to miss more than one game and Rapoport adds, “he may not even miss that.”
On an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter, Gronkowski took a low hit on his right knee from Denver defensive back Darian Stewart. He was carted off the field and things didn’t look good.
Gronkowski was in the locker room after the game and walked to the team bus on his own.
The Patriots face the Eagles this Sunday at Gillette Stadium

The pats injuries hasn't included their QB. Big difference
To your point, Matt has gotten nearly enough credit for being 4-0. Your season would have been over without him like the Cowboys.
-
The fumbled Punt saved Denver. Brock didn't do much all night and was down 21-7 until that happened. A healthy Peyton would've had Denver ahead IMO, not down 21-7. I just have more faith in Peyton than you do. One of us will be right and one of us will be wrong because I can guarantee you no way on God greens earth is Denver benching a healthy Peyton Manning when he gets healthy.
You may be right. I am not guaranteeing anything. A healthy Manning is something Denver needs to weigh heavily. All I am saying is Brock has done his part to make this a very tough decision for Elway and Kubiak. Let's see what the next few games bring. Manning's target date to return is the Pitt game.
Peyton's halftime adjustments aided Brock?

I like it. It seems cleaner to me. The navigation will take some getting used to but overall I think it is an improvement.
