  1. Did you think before you typed that out or?????

Mathis suspension/Landry suspension....both for the same thing. This isn't tangential, it's the exact same topic, two Colts players, both suspended in 2014.

The Browns and the quality of their team? Yeah....no. Not related.

    Also....durp/

The Mathis suspension had no bearing on the Landry suspension, and there is no logical connection to one or the other, over the fact that they're both Colts players. Do we even know what substance Landry was busted for yet? So how can you even begin to draw parallels between he and Mathis' situation when all the facts aren't even released yet? Mathis had nothing to do with this story, yet he was brought up to agitate the majority of this community over a sore topic.

As a moderator, I'd expect you to pick up on that

    "Durp," indeed

  2. I think he's a good poster. I wish we had more fans of opposing teams here, but the bullying is too fierce. Just look at the stupid comments about the Browns sucking, as if that has a damn thing to do with what he said.

I believe in coincidences. But in this case....c'mon. As a Colts fan, I happen to agree with BpG. The logic follows and anyone denying this conclusion are perhaps being a bit blurred by favoritism.

The Brown's sucking has about as much to do with the Landry suspension as Mathis' suspension does. Oh wait....

  3. If Thornton isn't ready for next week I hope Reitz gets the nod.

It won't happen. I'm surprised Reitz even came back to the team. He realistically could be a starter somewhere and this staff won't even make him the 6th linemen anymore. He could still be a few weeks out from being 100% but something tells me it wouldn't matter anyways

  4. Richardson is hot garbage. I've tried to take the wait and see approach with him (even though I always hated the trade) but I've seen enough. He's gonna cost us some games down the road if they don't stop with this stubbornness in trying to make him work. Bradshaw needs to be paced, but he should still be the starter and main back on crucial downs

  5. Sorry. The o-line hasn't helped one bit.

Get out of here with that. Tired of hearing it. He's not a good running back, plain and simple. 20 attempts 47 yards, and a vultured 1yard TD that anyone could've scored on. He's nothing special. If he has to have the best case scenario every single play in order to be worth anything, he's wasn't worth the draft pick then. I'm just tired of this staff trying to justify the GM's stupid trade by forcing him on the offense. We won today, but against good teams, it will come back to bite us

  6. Ok, I'm tired of seeing Trent today. Don't know how many 2nd and 3rd and longs we've been in today because of his lack of burst and vision. It's not as noticeable because we've converted on the majority of them, but he's still holding this offense back as long as they try to feature him, in my opinion

  7. Pagano deserves a lot of credit for that onside kick call. That was gutsy. If the colts miss that he would have been massacred, especially on this forum.

He definitely let his boys hang on that play call. First time we've ever done anything like that. Titans special teams coverage must've had a glaring weakness that he felt comfortable exploiting early. Still shocked he actually did it though

  8. I'm fine with them splitting the carries in an attempt to keep Bradshaw fresh, but please stop giving Trent the runs on early and critical downs. He puts us in too many 2nd and longs and hasn't converted on any of his short yardage goal line runs yet. Let Bradshaw set the tempo on 1st down and give him the red zone work, and just let Trent take the 2nd-3rd and manageables to build some confidence

  9. Sometimes I wonder who we would've drafted had we committed to AQ from the start and not traded him. Holmes likely wouldn't have been picked, in my opinion. We'll never know, I guess

  10. Eh, Polian was stubborn and wouldn't stray from his management philosophy where as Grigs

will do whatever it takes to help the team succeed with his relentless searching the dumpsters

    for cheap quality talent.

    Maybe that IS his philosophy

  11. The jury is still out on whether or not Grigson is a "good" GM, in my opinion. He's done plenty good and he's done plenty bad. I see some are placing all their stock in the win-loss columns more than anything else, and that's fine. Just realize that the Polians were winning with poorly constructed rosters the last few years of their regime as well. Peyton covered up a multitude of sins. Lets not fall into that same trap again with Luck/Grigson/Pagano

  12. I liked that we opened the game with that unbalanced formation that worked so well last week running the ball, and immediately went play action off of it. That was a great deviation from the trend we established last week. Good play calling overall on offense, but I'd still like to see the no-huddle spread attack featured more. Pep/Pagano are becoming more and more enamored with those jumbo formations again. I'd don't mind it in moderation, but taking our best weapons off the field for half the game doesn't seem like smart offensive football, to me anyways
