The great news here is that Richardson did not need as much development and we thought. He did not look bad for a rookie. So at least he didn’t need as much of a development year as we thought
There fixed it for you. He still wasn't protecting himself like a vet QB knows how to do. Still, he's fun to watch.

If Richardson comes back, I was hoping to get a wr as it would help his development, but Surtain would be fine if he still has game. He was elite at one time but not sure how he has been playing this year
He's still quite good.

Wilson has actually been good. It’s their defense.
Not looking good tonight. Defense holding KC to 16 for a half with no points from the offense is pretty good IMHO.

Jeudy is just meh to me.... Once thought to be a game changer coming out of college but he's been more of a solid piece and we already have enough of that in our receiver room.
Hes been hurt alot too.

We arent at that level.... thats a fact
But......
Our DL is playing really well and our LBs not named Leonard, are having a career season
We desperately need to get another CB (Maybe a trade from a team that is heading backwards)
If our OL stays at the high level....... MUCH can be done with our RBs (Best tandem in league)
Much can be done with an excellent TE room...... Much can be done with a middling QB that doesnt throw picks.
Lastly Josh Downs has a decent chance to make the all rookie team, and is starting to become very hard to cover
I am excited to be wrong....... this team IS MUCH better than last year, and better than I thought that they would be.....
enough to stoke the "Fan Fires"
Almost 100 yards last game. That was AWESOME. So glad he's getting the ball.

Im not sure what the score will be but i think our running game will be good against jacksonville, thier defense needs a reality check after the buffalo game. I would like to see front 4 get after the quarterback and some blitz packages to keep them guessing.
I think the colts will win, after all the years of destroying them with peyton manning and luck, im still not ready to think theyre an above average team. Steichen goes a long way, and we win this week.
Its off topic but that titans head coach has got some funny looking faces. I could watch them just for the comedy on thuer sidelines. Kinda looked like he had to fart all game, just wouldnt come out.
Hopefully the blitzes hit home. Lawrence makes our guys miss sometimes!

What's a redetermined pass? Surely not the broken play TD to Cox, or the powerful play to Alec Pierce while being being tackled by Aaron Donald. Sure, Purdy looks like an elite processor, and yes, Richardson's health is a concern, but I doubt Purdy makes that throw to Pierce, and it was only the Rams game, in the third qtr. that they really opened it up for him. To each his own opinion, but I'm excited every time I see him on the field. On a side note, I really do like Purdy. My dad called it that he would be stud in the NFL, and it looks like he was right!

Bring this over here from the week 5 PFF scores thread.
OL as a whole through week 5:(Thank you Tony Sparano)
• Raimann (#9/72) been grading out around top 10 all year
• Nelson (#17/78) steadily been playing good all year, grade probably would be a little higher, if not for a few questionable penalties
• Smith (#1/37) The anchor, has been grade in top 8 all season and #1 for the last 4 weeks
• Fries (#22/78) steadily putting together a solid season
• Smith (#12/72) outside of week 3 has graded out well all season
• Lowest rank on OL started is #22, with (2) top 10 in positional groups
• Freeland showed improvement from first action. This will only help his development
Which Smith is Kelly?

I have a friend who’s a Ravens fan. They were very high on Trace McSorley back when he was with the team.
His bio is interesting to say the least.

At one point I remember he hit an impressive gear for his size. Accelerating past the LB. TE production is down across the NFL in general probably as a result of smaller speedier LBs, but he looks like a tough match up with that ridiculous size.
He's one of the few camp stars (from last year) that has really translated thus far. I think he's our best blocking TE as well, rounding him out as a complete package.

I say give this man some props. Haven't had our starting 5 the past few games, and the o line has been getting it done. I'm happy with this hire thus far.

The problem is if you do that you are getting ride of what makes Richardson special.
I think him being able to run makes him special. He can throw on the run, and he can scramble. I just don't like the designed runs personally.

the coaches may have to cut out the designed QB runs.
I'm not a fan of them. He wad passing pretty well before that run, and our RB was running well.

In the games he has played he was one of highest rated linemen
My bad, thought we were talking about our OLine who kicked butt today!

Kelly/Nelson returning to Pro Bowl form is a breath of fresh air! Raimann has been the biggest surprise though! I guess Will Fries has been holding his own because I haven't heard any negativity towards him all season.
Raimann hasn't played in 2 games. How has he surprised?

Thank you Mr. Moss. That was some excellent running. Better take that line out to dinner!

Listening to the game today I heard something pretty consistently, which is Fries making a big play on the line. Glad to hear it.
No French Fries, just Fries please!! LoL

What a great game for the offensive line. I have been critical in the past, but today was some of the best blocking I have seen in over a year.
The interior did really well.

They did capitulate. That's obvious. And I'm not thrilled about it, for that same reason.
But I don't think it's typical for players to be coming off a surgery, on a team with a new HC and QB, entering their contract season. And I don't think players would be smart to try to fake injury moving forward, given the NFL's grievance, or the potential use of the NFI designation.
I also think, despite the short memories of the media and some fans, the Colts have an established track record of paying their best players. So the playbook is already set with the Colts. Play well, they'll pay you. And if they don't, then hold out and see how it goes. As I've been saying all along, contract disputes are a part of the process, even though it's rare that they happen with the Colts.
One thing I'd like to mention, that I'm sure everyone is aware of, is that RBs have the shortest shelf life on offense because of all the hits they take. It makes sense for them to get paid more, IMHO. I'm just glad we can finally move on from this situation.

I haven't given up on him. He's probably our most physically gifted TE. But I am concerned for him. If the rumors about him showing up out of shape are true, and he's in the dog house, and we have four guys ahead of him... he might not see the field unless a couple guys get hurt.
Where did you see those rumors? Just curious.

Just a quick reminder that the best player currently on the Indianapolis Colts (if healthy) might actually play this weekend. Pretty exciting stuff!
If Richardson keeps progressing one might argue he's the best player....i know, i know, we aren't there YET, but still, fun to think about.
