    yeah, having that other half of the cap should help significantly with depth and quality on the lines, not to mention another draft, even though we have traded out of some high picks, I think V. Davis is worth it

    Davis was necessary in my opinion. We should draft OL, OL, OL, D, OL, OL. Oh, and get some free agent help at OL.

    The bears pass rush was ferocious. We will have a long season if we can't keep Luck clean against a 4 man rush.

    I think our D was OK. Remember when Marshall set the all time game/reception mark against us? He is a very good receiver. We will improve. I just want some good blocking to see what #12 can really do. Might have to wait a while for that.

    I was going to post a similar topic.

    LUCK IS NOT THE WEAK LINK!

    I have been excited to see what he brings to the table - Luck brings quite a lot. He needs help, though. This OL is going to get him killed. They did improved and I hope I am wrong and they improve throughout the season. Wayne played a great game, by the way!

    My girlfriend at the time - who is now my wife, and I went to the Chiefs playoff game in 06 - just thought it would be cool to go to a playoff game. We won! So, we beat the Ravens and the Pats beat the Chargers the next weekend.

    Well, I was off for whatever reason the following Monday (whichever Jan Mon. holiday it is) and the Colts website said they had about 1000 tix for the AFCCG that would go on sale at 8 or 9 the next morning. I went to the Kroger right by my house about 35 minutes before and was first in line - about a total of 6 people. I got two tickets for like $80 each. I left happy. Saw the guy behind me in line at the game (a Boston transplant) and he said he was able to get only 1 and after that they were sold out.

    That game was amazing - every emotion during it. I stayed positive - the RR was glum at half and I remarked that this will make it an even better story...and IT DID!!!

    I got season tickets in 09 and kept them 3 years. (3 little kids, wife works Sunday etc...) 4th and 2 was the next best for sure! We sure got out of some close ones in 09!

    Arians TE Use/Stats

    One thing that I heard while Luck was still at Stanford was that he was beyond his years in his use of the TE.

    Now Fleener was a real weapon and he didn't have a huge WR that I can tell, but he may be very good at exploiting TE/D match ups.

    I hope so, hope that wasn't a load I heard. And, if so, I hope that he can do it at the next level.

    Cutler can't play well if he's on his back. I'm hoping our front 7 can exploit a questionable o-line.

    (Rotoworld) Bears head coach Lovie Smith officially named J'Marcus Webb the team's starting left tackle, as expected. Analysis: Webb, albeit underwhelmingly, beat out former first-round pick Chris Williams for the right to "protect" Jay Cutler's blindside. It's going to be an ongoing issue all season. The first test for Webb is Dwight Freeney and the Colts' new 3-4 look in Week 1.

    This sounds like Freeney's perfect opportunity to showcase his new "role".

    I started following the Colts in about 2000 (when I started watching football seriously) - so this is a new experience for me. The wholesale turnover from top to bottom is actually rather exciting for me.

    I am a Colts fan, that is not going to change. I've now been through "one and dones", Super Bowl wins and losses, surguries and loss to my favorite player, roster moves, cuts etc..., a deluge of injuries, highs, lows, and the like.

    I am ready to cheer for my team through this very interesting time! Thanks Jim!

    Let's do talk bears.

    I went dabears.com forums and they are certainly not talking about us!!!

    Offense and ST should be pretty good for da Bears. Not full strength Urlacher leads the D.

    Can our Oline stop Peppers and co.? I don't know. I don't know. Here's to a good game from AC!
