cruz isn't a fa.
He's an RFA.
So, yes, he is.
-
Well there was a bit of news in there at least. The player they wanted is a veteran FA and not a situation where a trade would need to happen.
Honestly, even though he said it wasn't Cruz, it had to have been.
Only "big" (big being used very lightly here) WRs left not counting Cruz are: Brandon Lloyd, Julian Edelman, Darius Heyward-Bey, & Kevin Walter. None of those I consider "whoppers" or even close to. Irsay already denied that the team wasn't interested in Heyward-Bey either.

YESSSSS

Adds good depth. Should be a battle for the NT position. Chapman, McKinney, Franklin.
-
I'm pretty sure he was on IR last year, battling an injury? Correct me if I'm wrong?

That tweet was about Hasselbeck..
Kravitz said Colts are still in play for a WR.
-
Kravitz said Colts are still looking for a WR... they want the price to go down.
-
Even if it's not done now, it'll be done. Hasselbeck is a Colt.
Ian Rapport on twitter suspects it'll be a two year deal.
-
Jason LaCanfora said, by process of elimination he thinks it might be DeSean Jackson.
That's interesting..

He is a decent backup, but I really wish they would have given Chandler a shot. Because we won't carry 3 QBs, so Chandler will likely be cut and if he is cut early enough in the season, I don't see him making it through waivers. A team like SD, who reportedly wanted to sign up, would be a candidate to sign him.
Like last year, I could see Harnish on the practice squad.
-
Don't understand how comp picks work really... We lost Wheeler, Tamme, Garcon, & Saturday.
All did well with the exception of Saturday...
-
Would be a great signing, but can't give him too much. I'm guessing it'll be a 2 year deal. Possibly 1 year.
-
Hasselbeck would be a great get.
Great, smart vet willing to help Luck develop even more.
-
Hey, he's an experienced CB. Everyone thought Tim Jennings was a blight when he was here too. Coaching makes a difference, and he'll have another year.
Lets just hope he doesn't have to start anytime soon.
Don't get this mixed up, he DID suck.
When people make this comment it makes it seem like Colts fans just used him as an escape goat. He was terrible.
Went to Chicago got in the right place with the right players & coaches and now he's one of the best.

I am kinda thinking our own "TWITTER MASTER" was a tad tippsy Saturday and just maybe jumped the gun.... making him look a bit bad now.
Who knows? I just wish Indy's owner would act like a regular NFL owner instead of a 16 yr old kid with a new lap top.
Whatever....... I'm officially done with the drama.
I'm glad that our owner keeps us informed. Lets the fans know what's going on. Most teams have no idea what their team is thinking/doing. Irsay gives us some inside every now and then.
He may be crazy, but he's a great owner. One of the best in the league IMO.

Post 2,000!!!!!!
EDIT: NOOOOOO
-
What about Heyward Bay, but he IMO, isnt a whopper?
Not even close.
He's a chicken nugget.

Mentioned Stevie Johnson & Sidney Rice earlier in this thread (somewhere in the 20s pages).
Keep those in mind, young, producing receivers.
-
Sounds like the Colts missed out on who they wanted (Cruz?) and are going to settle for plan B...
-
Pretty sure this thread has broken a forum record...
