Everything I've heard about Cherilus from Lions fans hasn't been good, media is mixed about him, PFF has him ranked well, I'm unsure how I feel about the signing

I have worries about a guy who hasn't played 3-4 OLB since 2007, never in the NFL. And him possibly getting huge money... I'll gladly admit being wrong if they sign him, he starts, and does great. I just wish the Cowboys wouldn't have franchised Anthony Spencer.
Ya. I liked Anthony Spencer as well. Just remember Avril was supposed to be drafted as a 3-4. I think he'll do just fine. But as you said, we must wait and see.
