  1. Hopefully they do put this guy there and he does well so hilton can focus on receiving duties more

If Hilton can do both KR and slot WR why not put him back their, thats why we drafted him plus I trust Hilton more then I do with Teddy, against the Pats we need to put the best players out their just cause Williams if fast doen't make him the best returner we dont need any silly mistakes in this game.
  2. Chap will play you are right three weeks isn't enough time, but we will not throw him out there for the whole game and see what happens, he will play but his time will be limited. Chapman has to get use to NFL speed, and you can't do that in practice. Trust me the coaching and training staff will have a close eye on him but we want to get his feet wet and see were he is at, they feel his leg is good so its time to test the waters so to speak...

  3. Yes its clear we are a 2nd half team which to me shows not only how well we respond to what the coaches say and see but just how good our coaching staff is as a whole. In the beginning of the season we were a first half team, I like the change from first half to the second, it all starting in the Green Bay game know if we could only put a whole 60 min together we would be very hard for teams to keep up with. Big shout out to this team you guys grow up very fast.

  4. Well I was thinking trade in the beginning of last year before we had the #1 pick and had we known PM could play and be healthy throuht a whole season most of us would have been willing to trade as well, but when I did my homework and saw Lucks #s in college and watched a few games I said hey this guy is really good all in all I know we did the right thing and hey so did PM. But with what we are seeing so far no amount of trades would have been worth Mr. Luck....

  5. Well I dont know about all the race car themes, I understand the meaning of the thread and I agree if we don't win Sunday when the games is over all the players on the Pats team should be saying wow I dont want to play them again. The one thing I can say about our team is our players have more heart then any other team I've seen this year and a no quit mentality either way I'm proud of the Colts, but a win on sunday is all I want for my birthday!!!!

  6. With that being said, he'll have to produce more than he is currently and sign for relatively cheap. I'd like to see him finish his career here, but there's no room for sentimental value in the NFL.

You are right there is no room for sentimental value in the NFL but their is room for good business in the NFL, the decision lies with Freeney, we will try and get him resigned but we can't afford the same kind of salary cap hit so if Freeney is willing to play for us for a cheeper prise we will retaine his services, alot of people make him out to be money hungry but he's not and he is worth resigning it was Bill Polain that through Freeney all that money as he did with everyone so dont blame Freeney, his sacks are down but he is still creating havoc on the line as long as he stays healthy I look forward to seeing him on next years 53 man roster, remember this is his first year in this new scheme he will be much better next year and will look more like the Freeney of old but if we let him walk understand who ever we bring in my not have the impact Freeney has right now and Hughes is very raw he deserves to be the 3rd or 4th stringer.
  7. Yes there are some who are down on Hilton because he has a few droppes, some fans are just so highly critical of rookies like they are some created player on madden or something but the truth is it takes time when you have so many new pieces. This rookie class is doing great and I think as a whole they have out played every other teams rookie class but to me I understand the concept that coaches dont play the game but they do deserve alot of the credit for putting these rookies in position to suceed in year one. I said it before the start of the season we have a all star group of coaches and the end result is a rookie class that has out proformed every other rookie class as a whole. Great job coaching staff!!!

  8. Yes I agree Hilton is a #1 wideout, I watched a lot of tape of him in college and the kid is a beast. I had Hilton on my mock draft and was so happy we picked him up, he is a very good PR\KR but he is a even better WR yes he may have a smaller frame then most but their are many great WR his size and everyone can be injured but that a part of the game, to be honest I love Hilton in the slot he is a mis match all day with his speed. I really dont see us going after a WR in the draft so please dont get your hopes up, which I think thats the right decision. After this past offseason we need to give the D some attention, I say we spil FA half offense/defense. The draft will be all defense maybe one o-linemen. I see us going after a big name WR in FA. Hilton is a rookie that has had more succuss then most rookie WR, he has dropped some balls and Luck has over thrown and under thrown some balls but as the season continues and they grow more as a team we will see just how good Hilton really is, we just have to be patient we at times are so quick to jump on a rookie for their mistakes and not see all the good, Hilton will get better with time.

  9. They will try and get to Luck with consistant presure, Talib will play man on Wayne all game and in cover 2 and nickel will dare us to run.... Good Luck with that Pats...We need the D to step up. Key players on O that have to bring it in order for us to win:BROWN,BALLARD,CARTER,ALLEN,HILTON,AVERY,LUCK and the oline as a whole.

  10. chap will play this week was said he looked very good in pract was beating our centers all day we wont know tell mon or tue but heck if chap is as good as they say and can beat double teams have a jump at clogging the holes would be huge his role is to free LBs not fly free very important position huge for the front 7 and i think we will here some good news this week. His playing time may be limited but we will see what he can do!!

  11. Had to do some seaching to find both of these guys I don't think Ansah is projected as a first or second round talent which if that stands could turn out good for us. Dion Jordan is projected as a first or second round pick but on my main site he is the 19 overall pick but on my other site his name comes up late in the 3rd round but it might not have been updated yet but if we could get a good pass rusher in the 3dr thats a plus. To me SS is our biggest need but the trick is who will we go after in FA.

  12. I'd like to grab Banks because I'm a Miss State homer. I hope Lattimore falls because of his injury and we pick him up in a later round kind of like we did with Chapman. Neither of those options will happen though.

Yeah I dont think Lattimore will fall as bad as Chapman did but you never know is has already fell from the top 10 but he would have to fall into the 3rd or4thround in order for us to get him but as you said I would love that myself, I haven't watched much film on Banks but I have heard alot of good things about him.How good is he?
  13. On 2013 NFL Mock draft-NFL-Draftsite.com which is one of two best site to get a clear picture of were draft prospect should fall, here is their order of prospect 24-37.

    24.Jenkins-NT

    25.Austin-WR

    26.Bell-RB

    27.Warford-OG

    28.Lester-SS

    29.Poyer-CB

    30.Elifer-TE

    31.Fluker-OT

    32.Ertz-TE33.

    33.Banks-CB

    34.Trevardo William-DE

    35.Sylvester Williams-DT

    36.Lattimore-RB

    37.Randle-RB

Now judging for this list both offense and defense who would be your first round pick?

  14. My first five pick I know would be gone by 24 and they are in order

1.Jarvis Jones 2.Manti Te'o 3.Star Lotulelei 4.John Hankins and last Big John Jenkin.

Now Jenkins depends on how good Chapman plays,Hankins and Lotulelei can both play NT or DE but the one guy I'm really pleased with is Te'o althought i'm aware that currently ILB is more of a strength so I suppose the correct question is what is our biggest weakness defensively? And who could come in as a rookie and fill that void?

  15. Its been said next offseason the club will pay more attention on the defensive side of the ball, so only looking at the defensive side of the ball who do you see us drafting if we pick say at 24 overall. If you are unware of who may be available or who at the time is considered a late first round talent then just speak on our biggest weakness on the defensive side of the ball...

  16. If we can get Freeney for good price which I think we will I'd would love to see him and Mathis retire as Colts. Moala and Johnson to me depend on if we can Get Chapman out their this season but if Chapman plays well I would let Johnson go. I would bring back McAfee for sure. Might have to let Powers walk unless we can get him for a good price. Would give Avery and Stanton another year and between Link and Reitz I'd go Reitz.
