  1. I say if we can work something out to get Scott do it can't wait on FA. Ws are won in the trenches on both offense and deffense an if we dont shake up this O-line now we will be picking first in next years draft aswell.

  2. Their isn't much we can do this season, but the issue with the running game is our backs. Sure the O-line playes a big role but dating back four year ago our line wasn't all that bad but our running game was. We know what to expect out of Brown and you can come up with all the stats you want the bottom line is on 3rd down can he move the chains and we all know the answer. I know we have a lot of work cute out for us after the season from a front office standpoint but I hope we can find a 3rd down back and take some of this presure off of Luck.

  3. I am so tired of hearing prople say, you must run the ball to set up the run.... Yes this was how the game of football used to be play, however this is no longer the case.

Green Bay never runs the ball nor do they try!

The Saints occassional run the ball but you do not throw for 5,000 yards establishing the run

New England throws the ball religiously...

The list goes on and on..

We tried to establish the run game early in the Bears game. To avoid being laughed off the field we put the ball in the air. The only time we gained positive yards in the run game is when we ran draws and delayed handoffs. Peyton did not establish the run after Edge left. Our run game was so bad our playaction attack was no longer effective. Harrison will be a hall of famer because of EDGE and our ability to use play action. However this is not a threat any longer whatsoever!!

So cut it out with the run game in regards to Sunday. We haven't ran the ball well against poor defenses, so why would think we would go into Soldier field thinking we would be effective against the BEARS defense honestly. Until we have a draft in which we draft some stud lineman and make a trade or two for some depth at the position, this is Andrew's Lucks show totally.

We must throw the ball at least 35 times a game to be effective. I hope we continue the trend of throwing the ball. However I hope better decisions are made by Luck and that we improve our protection some. I also think having Collie and TY out there, makes a huge difference too.

Man get real, stop looking at other teams with vet QBs, we are not the Saints or the Gaints we dont have Brady or Rogers and yes they got to the playoffs without a strong running game, but if you go back an look at those playoff wins you'll see they did run the ball well. If you go back to the year we won the SB we had a good one two punch with Addai and Rhodes. A QBs best freind is a good running game and in our case a rookie QB "Luck" throwing 40 to 50 times a game is not good. If you truly think a running game is not needed in the NFL you had better have a seasoned vet as QB. Running game can help both the offense and deffense in allowing the D to get some rest on the sideline and the other teams O off the field but it makes 2nd and 3rd downs much more manageable.
  4. yea, It really depends on where we are weak at by the end of the season on D but if Freeney can't cut it I'd say a pass rusher in the 1st round as well

I think the WR is pretty deep in the draft and ya I don't know what I was thinking when I said a 2nd round pick. I'd love to pick up a dominate pass rusher with the 1st round pick. theres alot of ways we can go in the draft but it all depends on whos available and that would sign in FA

  5. I don't see Cruz or Bowe going any where, but either would be a good addition. For me I'd like to see the oline upgraded through FA and with either the first or 2nd round pick for a WR that could be groomed into being the Number #1 WR. just my two cents though..

Don't think we go offense in the draft next year, plus we don't have a 2nd round pick we have 1.3.4.6. To many very good WR in free agency not to many in the draft.
  6. Not looking for MJD to be apart of this team either, but please explain how can you be on the downside of your career at 27 years old and putting up more rushing yards then any other RB in the NFL I mean to me thats crazy, I know most RB slow down at 30, so he has 3 years left before 30 and the tires fall off but I bet you his production stays at a high level. I just want to know any new news on him and his hold out being in our divisions an all.

  7. I do think we will end up with one superstar or two if we part ways with Freeney, and I say this because if you look at Grigson's past, he has a history of taking the best player available in FA. Take a look at the Eagles for example when they put together their so called dream team although it never panned out it shows Grigson's mind set which is, bring in the best player possible for the price. Next offseason will be very interesting.

  8. Well you all can call me crazy but im just going to be honest!!

    Bears

Colts- Viks are a few yrs from being competitive.

Colts- Jags dont want to pay their best player in MJD.

    Packers

Colts- The Jets can't put up points.

Colts- The browns well their the browns.

Colts- The Titans only have a running game.

    Colts- Dolphins are lost.

Colts- MJD will be back but not the same, to many changes with no offseason work.

    Patriots

    Bills

    Lions

Colts- Stop the run win the game

    Texans

Colts- Chiefs wont be able to match points with us.

    Texans

    9 wins or more.

  9. Now if Freeney turns out to be for us what Suggs is for the Ravens then what? I mean we really havent seen what Freeney can do or how he will be used, Its just preseason and you dont want to give away are schemes to early I mean give it time people, an for those in a hurry to see Freeney cut I hope understand if he is on the team or not we will still have to pay him the only true way out is trading him, which I think could turn into one of the biggest mistakes we can make this year

  10. Their will be more than a few great players in free agency, a team can only tagg one player per team. Teams like Miami, Kansas City, Seattle, Pittsburgh and Atlanta all have more then two some three great player entering free agency next year teams cant tagg everyone. You also have teams that dont have the money to resign their key players or bring anyone in out of free agency. Trust me there will be some big names out their, what I want to know is how many we will be able to bring in with 40 to 60 million in cap space 4-5-6 anyone?

  11. Man I was and still am one of sanders biggest fans but to keep it short and sweet we cant win a championship bye reverting back to the past, we have to move forward not back. I said it once and I'll say it again if you can't stay healthy your in the wrong business

  12. Well I can't wait to see what the future bring to the colts, but I can say that I'm much more comfortable with Grigson as our GM and I can see why Irsay hired him this guy is hungry as a GM and he is doing everything in his power to get this roster where it needs to be and this is just the beginning. I love this last trade and Im sure its not our last, as for lossing draft picks I'm not worried as long as we have the first rounder we should be ok. I think I'm most excited about the 2013 free agency, I can't think of a time the colts had this kind of cap space over the next two years. We have yet to see our team in a regular season game but on paper we are continuosly getting better, an from what we saw last year and 3 games into the preseason we are better but we still have a ways to go. This is a very exciting time for Colts fans with so many changes but one thing I dont think will change is the winning ways of the Colts, so to be realistic I say we win anywhere from 6 to 9 game this season but after next years offseason we will be a power house in the AFC South once again. Jim Irsay may rub some of you the wrong way with his tweeting but hey the man knows football and thats all I'm looking for out of the teams owner, heck if you ask me he put together a dream team of coaches I think so anyway... P.S. sorry for grammer I type very fast..

  13. Putting it that way is probably a little harsh on your team. The top four Skins backs are honestly all at about the same level skill-wise, they just come in different flavors. If I'm Mike Shanahan, Morris is probably the favorite to start at this point.

I would imagine that you guys cut him for the same reason that the Skins traded him to you guys. He does flash some potential here and there but his inability to firmly establish himself even as a nickel corner has to say something about his ability and/or work ethic behind the scenes.

He was cut cause our last GM didnt like him outside of football
