Just because there isn't enough arguing around here, I present this as a topic for debate...
Eli is #1. Peyton is #6. Luck is projected as #16. Chad Henne is #32.

Peyton joined the Giants at a Yankees game a couple of years ago and was asking guys a bunch of questions. Eli had to tell them to shut up and not give him info. "He's not really that interested in you"

Wouldn't Manning deserve compensation more than the Colts if it could be proved? I don't think it's provable unless someone comes out and says that they had a bounty on Peyton for that play. Peyton didn't leave the game, so it's doubtful any money was paid out at the time for the injury.

If anyone can handle the pressure I think it would be Peyton. I think the really true Bronco fans will be excited to see a great QB play the game. JMO of course.
They are, but I think a lot wanted Tebow to stay and learn from Manning.

How good does Peyton have to be before the Tebow fans go back to being Bronco fans?
Well at lot weren't Broncos fans in the first place, but even though it was a bit of a fluke, Peyton will need to get at least to the AFC championship game to make it worth it to many. Going to be a lot of pressure on him. 2nd hardest schedule in the league (next to Giants) just based on last year's records.

I doubt this is real.
Every year the NFL does an official release of the schedule and they have a big 2 hour special on NFLN, etc. This is fake, it's a blog site. Anyone could have wrote it.
If it was real it'd be posted on NFL.com & other official sites.
This is supposedly a leaked copy of the schedule that will officially be released soon. Still, I think smart money is on fake

Wasn't one of those team (Jets I think) opening a new stadium this year?
Giants and Jets opened their new joint stadium last year. They will continue to share

I see three different weeks where this schedule has the Giants and Jets both playing at home within a few days (2 Thurs/Sun, 1 Sun/Mon).
While I guess they can change the stadium over that quickly if they had to, I can't imagine why they would want to. It just seems a bit odd.
That's not unusal. They do that.

What's the writer's source? The NFL hasn't released their official schedule yet, so how would this dude know what it is?
If it's fake, it's clearly done by someone with too much time on their hands!

I have to believe that they will put Manning vs. Brady in prime time and this schedule doesn't have that.
Also, someone on the Broncos board is calling fake b/c there are instances where the Chiefs are playing the same day at home as the Royals and apparently that can happen b/c they share a parking lot.

Oh yes, I have to agree that many many thanks to Peyton for all the years he gave to the Colts, the Fans and to me personally. Thank You and best wishes for your health and yes, continued success in your new home in Denver.
On another note, I think we owe a thank you to Curtis Painter for giving his all in a very very tough situation. I hope this guy does not loose his heart for the game . Anyone know if he is still with the Colts ??? or where ???
He was cut by the Colts the same day as Dallas Clark et al....Don't think anyone has picked him up.

The fact that Sean Payton was, at least I assume, in the locker room during Williams' pep talks, tells me all I need to know.
He was not in the dark about this. His suspension is merrited.
The filmmaker said that Payton was not in the room during the "pep talk" that was released today.

I'd say a lot of it is "normal" football talk about getting into players' heads, but he clearly takes it beyond that - especially with the promise of money for an injury.

It's mixed. Some are really excited. Some are really nervous about his age and health. Some can't get over the loss of Tebow.

thats right and under the article it mentions the Giants going after Alex Smith too.
This is also one reason (or the main reason actually) why coaches don't want to disclose injuries because they do become a target.
It was Giants going after Williams and 49er's going after Eli.
I think the difference is if it's a clean hit or not and if there's money for specifically injuring someone.

I've actually seen that some agents recommend that players not score above 40 on purpose because some think the really smart players don't take direction well
These scores are supposed to be confidential and they never are. Players should start refusing to take the test.

I can't figure out why they are doing a private workout with Luck either. Everyone knows they are taking him. Is something really going to change their minds?
