But, I can see the side that they shouldn't be punished without seeing the evidence against them - especially those saying the accusations are false about trying to hurt players. I have no idea what they have or haven't seen, but everyone should have the right to know what exactly they are accused of. Players >>>ed up by not meeting with the league though.

I saw on someone's twitter today (can't remember who - one of the legal types from ESPN maybe) that Hargrove admitted to having the bounty system.

If you have even a passing suspicion that someone in your family is feeling suicidal - get rid of any guns you may have until you are sure it has gotten better. If someone is determined to kill themselves they will, whether there are guns in the house or not. But, if a gun is handy, there's too much risk for an impulsive action. I worked in suicide research for a number of years. There were some very well thought out suicides, but just as many that felt like a sudden reaction where someone grabbed a gun and you have to wonder if they would have done it with even 10 minutes more of thought. Most other methods where the suicide was successful took more planning.

Nowadays, they would give up the name Colts and save it for if a new team came to town. That's the way it was with the Browns and they eventually ended up the Cleveland Browns ago.
That's the way it should be so you don't end up with ridiculousness like the Utah Jazz.

Thing that bothers me about the NFLPA is that they don't just represent the accused players, they represent the players who were targeted. Should be keeping Warner, Farve, etc... in mind as well as defending the players. It's a fine line to walk.

Man, they just showed the clip of his mother being interviewed. It's one of the most heart-wrenching and saddest things you can see. Thoughts and prayers go to his family
yeah, I'm not sure they should be playing that clip or not. On one hand, she seemed to want to come out and give a statement, but it also feels like they are taking advantage of her emotional state.

With all of the Colts games on at 1:00, I bet there will be a good chance to get a few extra Broncos games shown. I don't know how it's determined which network gets the doubleheader. I'd say it's safe to say the Broncos New England game will pretty be shown nationwide at 4:15 est.

I worked in suicide research for 5 years. Self-inflicted shots to the chest are much rarer than shots to the head. I, of course, don't know why he chose the chest (assuming that's true - saw it on deadspin), but it should at least be questioned if he was having post concussion symptoms.

Only 2 of the 4 suspended players still play for the Saints.
They need to get Brees signed.
But, they are more doomed b/c they are the superbowl hosting city, so that jinx is alive and well.

I used to enjoy watching it when it was after the superbowl. But, it was more for the mic'd players and pranks and sideline stuff than the game itself. I think Peyton always being a good sport helped the game out, too.

I like RG3 a lot. I can't root for him, because I'm a Giants fan and the division is already brutal. But, I like him. I think both QBs ended up with the teams that best suit them.
