  1. bogie good luck next season with payton back and another year with spags i expect the saints to take the nfc south

Thanks pal, I haven't lost a lot of sleep over this season. Kinda seen it coming just didn't want to believe it, and yeah Morgan is going to be a great receiver next year. I was hoping Toon would get some play time but I haven't seen him at all this season.

  2. Well I think the NFL had this all wrong, especially how they suspended our coach but Brees is still wrong. You can't blame our entire season on this, they still had a chance and they got out there and blew it. Brees himself deserves some of the blame, cause he just had to hold out and we spent all our money on him, not enough to bring Carl Nicks back, whom our offensive line needed, and also he's played terribly this season. He has his good games, and then when he has a bad one he makes sure you remember he's playing for stats.

I think Saints fans have over-evaluated the loss of Payton. He don't control this defense. Granted I think we beat Carolina, K.C. (We did win that one, if the replacement refs didn't call back 2 TD's) and even GB, but the rest of these loses? Not a chance. We would probably 6-7 or 7-6 with him.

  3. I'm still 98% sure if yall played us it would not be pretty for us. We might have the better record and I'm proud of what my team is doing, but ya'll are still the better team imo.

Luck would shred our defense to pieces, and you'd probably rush over 150 yards on us. Just watch our defense. No one knows how to tackle. In the mean time I have to hear Saints fans brag about how "great" Harper and Jenkins are despite how terrible they've been this season. 1 missed tackle from Harper leads to 35 yard gains. One missed tackle by Jenkins is a huge completion.

They get on my nerves worse than anything. It's never the defense's fault with Saints fans, it's always some stupid conspiracy theory with the refs or the classic "We can't win without Payton" This Colts team is winning without Pagano and that goes in one ear and out the other!

  4. Isn't it common sense to lower it down? Sorry but they created this monster. They were so obsessed with Tebow last year, they were camped outside the Jets for training camp as if they had just won the Super Bowl.

Now they want to "limit" down on it, after they've shoved it down our throats so bad. Remember the stories of the ex-writer who said "You can never talk enough Tebow". It's too late for ESPN to dial down on it. They created this insanity, they deserve every bit of blame for it. This is part of the reason why I don't even watch ESPN anymore. The Jets themselves are 5-7 and they talk about them like they are a Super Bowl team, just like the Eagles, who have lost 8 or 9 games and they still talk about them non stop. ESPN is the most biased East coast sports network ever.

  5. And, to be fair, he wasn't acting like much of a leader earlier in the season. The guy is an incredible athlete, but isn't a good leader yet.

He's getting there. The Panthers are the future of the NFC South I believe. I know from watching my boys in black and gold, we don't have a lot of time left under Brees. The Falcons are an average team no matter what. Tampa could be a surprise, but my money is Carolina building up in the next 5 years.

  6. He has been playing insane the last three weeks

    PHI - 18/28 - 306 yards, 3 TD/0 INT, 14 rushes for 52 yards, 2 TD

    KC - 15/27 - 232 yards, 3 TD/0 INT, 7 rushes for 78 yards, 0 TD

    ATL - 23/35 - 287 yards, 2 TD/0 INT, 9 rushes for 116 yards, 1 TD

I find it funny people still think he's going to be a bust and go so far to compare him to Vince Young. I don't like his arrogant ego, and I hated it when Auburn won that championship but what can I say? This kid has really impressed me, and over the last three weeks, he's been very impressive. Just look at those numbers, Newton alone single handedly destroyed the most overrated team in the NFL yesterday. People still think Atlanta has a good defense, he totally shredded them BOTH with his arm and his feet.

  7. 2 Championships would provide a pretty good argument that he is not the worst owner in the NFL, 12 Playoff appearances since he took over in '89, Worst owner-Bill Bidwill-47 years as owner of Cardinals-5 years in the playoffs, 3 times since 1975- Both of those is a special kind of suckage

He had Jimmy Johnson as his head coach and fired him for Barry Switzer. You can dwell in the past all day, but look at what he has done to that team since he fired Johnson. He's slowly ran them in the ground. The Cowboys never went this long without having a Super Bowl appearance. Who in their right mind would push Jimmy Johnson aside anyway? Only Jerrah.

  8. You should never read ESPN comments. You can't single out Redskins fans alone, comments on ESPN are just loaded with trolls and fools no matter what team it is. Try all those bountygate articles, as well as every Patriot article is loaded with spygate clowns and anything about Brett Favre was loaded with nothing but hate comments. Save yourself some peace of mind and don't even bother reading the comments unless you just want to get mad at somebody.

  9. I didn't find it that surprising. They don't have a qb. Whoever plays qb for them hurts them and help the other team. How in the world does Larry get only catch from his qb and the other team gets four???

I've seen horrible qbs before but all 3 of them are absolutely horrible lol. I do feel bad for Fitz (although he does get to come home to a bathtub full of green money, that must be nice :) )

I would love to see Fitzgerald go to a real team before the end of his career. Hands down for my money possibly the best receiver in the game. The QB's are the problem indeed, but a few years ago I thought the Cardinals would get better, I really had great feelings about Ken Whisenhunt.

  10. That's absolutely crazy. I remember when they where being touted as one of the suprising teams, on the rise then ohh boy did they crash and burn.

Oh I know, everyone had them picked as a surprise against the boys in Frisco. I never bought into it, but I didn't expect them to lay down like they did today and get beat by 58 points. Absolutely stunning to see that happen.

  11. Well he has a chance tonight on SNF to lead one. I mean all Luck would need is a few seconds or something so come on Aaron IT'S NOT THAT TOUGH. ;)

Look at that snow fall. Can't ya almost see Favre doing his thing out there? ;)

That's all I been thinking about! Favre was the man in the frozen tundra, the KING.
