  1. That team needs a QB...

and a GM, and a coach, and a new WR, and some new pieces on defenses. A QB is not going to fix all their problems over night. Cassel is garbage to start with and they have taken him hook line and sinker all the way, but I don't know if any other QB is going to walk in and have immediate success behind that O-line.

if the rumors are true about hiring Marty S as GM, then they need to really use him to get rid of everyone and start over.

  2. The Chiefs can thank me for jinxing them. As I said earlier, last year, close game, 3 points and the pick sealed it. Yet again that happened, even though they made me jump seeing they were trying to come back (as usual)

That entire team needs to hit the reset button.

  3. Craziest thing about that game was how the Rams dominated them early on.

Gotta give it to Fisher, he's taking a Rams team that went 2-14 and he's already turning them into a good competitor. Look for the Niners and Rams to be big rivals like they used to be in the old days, the division used to come down to L.A and SF.

  4. I don't think the 49ers are overly effected by the loss of Smith. The Bears are straight up screwed with Campbell at the helm... I know altogether too much about Captain Checkdown.

Spot on, Smith is garbage. I been thinking all along that Harbaugh wanted Colin over him.

I watched Campbell in Auburn, and was at least expecting more from him. The Raiders really thought he was their guy as much as they gave up to get a washed up QB after Campbell went down injured.

  5. If you really think the Falcons are a Super Bowl team you just got punked, like in 2010.

Don't let all that stuff fool you. Matty Ice is Stan Humphries 2.0. If this was the 90's his stats wouldn't look near as good as they are. Their run game is almost non-existent cause they don't like running it anymore. Saints have the worst defense in the league, and Ryan threw 50 passes against us.

13-3, and get blown out in the first round as usual. I love it while everyone really thinks Matt Ryan is some great QB who runs his stats up. Weak schedule, oh and they lost to the bad, riddled Saints with the worst defense in the league. I won't be shocked if we beat them again in Atlanta, since we have owned them since 2006.

They could easily have an average record, considering that the Raiders and Panthers nearly beat them. They also have not played Tampa Bay yet, whom I'd be shocked if they swept, Carolina also will play them very tough again, but I wouldn't bet on it.

    Falcons suck!

Don't forget, they had a chance to beat us the other day, and Ryan over threw Roddy White in typical tradition.I thought Roddy White was good too, as much as he runs his mouth and talks down to Saints fans and the city of New Orleans like it's some trash (Come down to New Orleans with me next year, we can get drunk together down Bourbon Street!) Couldn't even make it past the 1 yard line on 4 downs against the worst defense in the league, and people seriously think he's an MVP this year, they are crazy. Tebow completed more deep balls than Ryan last year, that is a fact.

  6. And to be fair, many didn't expect much from Indy week 1 heading into a hostile environment vs. a good defensive team with a rookie QB and a new coaching staff. I would have liked a "softer" opener. :)

Bears have a good D though IMO. It's the offense I never have trust in. Same as 2006, when we played them in the SB I always felt we would win even if the Colts offense struggled since I had no faith in Rex Grossman and company.

Jay Cutler isn't much of an upgrade to Rex Grossman, outside of him, when they can't run the ball, you know you can't trust their offense.

  7. Has Chicago played anyone good outside of Indy, GB, and Houston?

I have to keep asking this question when I think about how good their defense looks on paper. I forgot how many weak teams they've played so far. 2010 all over again, remember how great they'd look one week then get stomped in the ground every time they played good teams?

  8. Bill Romonowski was the same guy before the divisional playoffs last year that said the 49ers needed to knock out multiple Saints players to win the game "put Sproles on the stretcher"

I cannot stand this guy, and I remember him being a very dirty player during his time. Never forget when he spit in the guy's face, I believe he played for Denver at that time.

  9. the new OT rules suck with the "TD to end it" (giving the other team another shot even if their defense blows it by letting the team kick a field goal)

I think they should use 2 OT periods of 15 minutes long. They do it in the playoffs.

  10. The Saints are playing with little margin for error at this point. I do think 10 games could be a must for a wild card in the NFC.

Packers, if they get their act together on D, could challenge the Bears for the NFC North and are suddenly in the mix again for going to the SB, IMO from the NFC, especially if Rodgers keeps balling like he was before the bye week.

AFC - it is going to be weird how the seedings play out. The AFC North divisional games, the Broncos-Ravens and the 2 Pats-Texans & Pats-49ers games will end up shaping the AFC seedings. Still, I expect Texans to be No.1. After that, it is anybody's guess.

GB lives and dies on that defense, and I surely don't trust them. I wouldn't be shocked if Minnesota hands it to them this year, since Peterson ran all over them last year, and for some reason watching the Pack and Vikies for years, it seems to go back and forth. Minnesota is due to beat them.

I don't know for sure if the Saints will make it as a wild card, not going to get my hopes up but I am glad to put Atlanta down. So tired of hearing how great they are and how they may go undefeated.

  11. Honestly, I've seen a lot of your posts, but until now I always thought you were a Colts fan.

We don't take too kindly to your kind 'round these parts..... :)

No harm intended on my part. I don't buy into the 'my team's better than yours' arguments all over other team forums. It's not worth it.

  12. I'm back. I was expecting like 40-0 Patriots or something, I just thought the Bills flat out mailed it in earlier in the year.

Either our offense is a unit that completely sputters or it's something that's enjoyable to watch when everything is clicking. We got the latter half today. We're probably going to get the sputtering, useless offense Thursday Night vs Miami.

For some reason, of all of our division opponents, our O has the most success vs. the Pats. They just seem.....soft. Miami and Jets' Ds are usually a physical bunch, which physical defenses more time than not match up well against the Bills offense.

But wow, was I shocked that they actually RAN the ball and mixed the running game in. See what happens when you give Spiller and Freddy chances?

They always play NE so tough. Love to see them beat Miami, but those Thursday games are a big risk since the teams appear to be so rusty going into them. Good luck to your Bills as always.

  13. lol. to add insult they have very good fan base who sticks with them too.

There was a group I seen some time ago called the "Bills Mafia", and I think my brain will explode if I try to comprehend a term for what I seen with that.

  14. What do you want me to say Jules? We Just showed them who's boss as we always do!

Saints have won what now? 7 out of the last 8 games against Atlanta?

If we sweep them, it will be even more funny, and that is a possibility.

  15. Have ui noticed, as anounces say, Fitzpatrick doesnt play well till team is way out of it and then at end if about to tie or win fumbles or IT away the chance

also i heard this was a tendency ever since got that big contract

They were 5-0 when he got that big money, and they finished 6-10 last year after it.

The only thing he's good at since then is throwing picks. They could have won today, and instead he throws a pick.

Buffalo wastes money left and right, Mario Williams (could they have paid him anymore?), Stevie Johnson, and Fitzpatrick. They might as well blow some money on Terrell Owens, oh wait they did a few years ago.

  16. Yeah I think the Saints just discovered the running game last week right? What a concept!

And Matt Ryan still never scares me. Heck this Falcons team might still win like 13 games but they don't scare me. Heck a lot of so called good teams don't scare me anymore.

It just feels like anyones game this season.

Ryan is not that good. Stan Humphries 2.0, except Humphries actually could win a few playoff games.
