  1. Some of brees had to do with perfect passes , an having knowledge of defense scheme an weakness that a rookie wouldn't have

Same could be said about last year when everyone was throwing bombs all over that defense.

GB's biggest weakness is stopping deep ball...Last year they couldn't get a break against it, and there is barely any pressure besides matthews.

  2. But brees is an elite quarterback Luck makes some good throws then has a few misses he isnt on that level yet. once he starts completing 71 percent of his passes again and throwing next to no interceptions then he'll be the best.

Saints WR's are another thing. Watching Brees week to week the last 5 years, he can make them look a lot better than they truly are.

Last year GB ranked dead last in the league on defense and got shredded by a number of average Qb's. Have faith, and stay positive thinking...I don't see where the Colts are all that bad so far.

  3. I said to myself that if Sanchez could complete more than 40% of his passes or throw for over 100 yards against the 49ers that it'd be a great day for the Jets offense. Well, Sanchez DID throw for 103 yards...

It'll be fun watching Houston smack this team around and Arizona if their defense is still legit by the time they face each other.

Of course the Jets are gonna look like the '89 49ers in the last week of the season when they play the Bills, just watch, you know it will happen.

The sad part about that is I'd rather see Buffalo winning than the Jets.

Sanchez is just garbage, but Tebow is even more laughable. I'm shocked this team also went with that Wild Cat material after it has fizzled out and proven to be useless.

The Niners still ran for 245 yards over them, which is very bad. I had a feeling that was coming after Spiller ran on them, and TE's are still giving them problems.

At this point they look like they are ready for 6-10.

  4. LOL

What was wrong with the Reebok jerseys that made the NFL change to Nike?

I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Bought 3 Reebok jerseys a few years back and never had a problem with them.

BTW the new collars on most uniforms now look horrible, and that total redesign of the Seahawks uniform just looks pure ugly, more like circus gear than football uniforms.

  5. I don't see the Seahawks as serious contenders this year, so I wouldn't necessarily label them as pretenders. Right now, Russel Wilson seems to be holding that team back right now. I think the Sehawks can definitely play better if he progresses but right now, every time I've seen the Seahawks, their offense has been playing very conservative and Wilson doesn't look confident under center. Seems to hold onto the ball too long or roll out of the pocket before the pressure even gets to him, causing him to make a manufactured mistake. He'll probably learn as time gooes on.

I don't know so far, that whole team is riddled with problems.

Marshawn Lynch is the entire offense at this point, totally agree there on Wilson. They seem more of a defensive oriented team, but they still have a lot of time to prove if they are worth anything.

  6. If you watched the Saints play the Packers, Brees totally exposed that defense to show as bad as it truly is.

I'll call it right now; Reggie Wayne is going to have a huge day as long as Luck gets the ball out to him. The Packers defense is still very bad from last year, and the Saints totally proved that. Those guys are missing their coach and overall their WR's are not that good outside of Colston, and they still shredded them to pieces.

  7. I expect a very motivated Colts team this up coming Sunday.

They will want to win for the coach, and so far I don't see where they can't.

Watching the Packers so far I am not that impressed with them. The league seems to be suffering a back fire of the super quarterback teams that have high ranking pass offenses. If you look around, it's not looking good for a number of those teams.

The Saints pretty much exposed GB's defense with Brees pushing over 400 yards and having a ridiculously good game against them. Of course it was Drew Brees, but as high ranked the Packers defense was last week (#1 against the pass) I didn't expect to see those average and B grade Wide receivers shredding them to pieces like that.

I would expect Reggie Wayne to have a big day if they couldn't even cover Joe Morgan. Brees totally exposed just how bad their defense still is by playing deep ball with them.

I would expect Freeney and Mathis to have a big day too, as the Packers O-line is truly a depression to sit there and watch. They allowed Rodgers to get sacked 8 times against Seattle. Of course the Saints don't have a pass rush at all, so he didn't get beat up unless you count that "bounty" with Jenkins getting to Rodgers and another knock down. Saints defense is very awful and the Packers still had some trouble against them.

  8. The Jets are loaded with problems and have been ever since Rex Ryan stepped into the picture.

Instead of resolving their issues, they seem to make it worse by bringing in star power.

Last year LD Tomlinson said the Jets locker room was the worst he had ever been in, and just to think how long he's been in the league to give them that statement.

Instead of upgrading during the off season the biggest move they made was for a back up quarterback that the national media drools over when he completes a handful of passes.

What a mess indeed! And Tebow really isn't going to help. Defenses weren't scared of that college styled offense last year, he got all the credit while the defense bailed them out with miraculous turnovers that saved the day.

  9. Can I just list them real easy by saying the entire crew over at ESPN including medicore to bad scale players like Trent Dilfer, Merrill Hoge, and Tim Hasselbeck whom think they are great cause they get to analyze things. By far they are the worst. Michael Irvin also is pretty bad.

  10. What if the Saints actually stopped the Niners on the final drive?

What if Green Bay actually had a defense last year that didn't give up 400 yards and 30+ points a game?

What if Flacco completed one of those final passes in the end zone against New England?

What if the Steelers defense got it together against Denver?

What if Rex Ryan wasn't a big mouth?

What if Jerry Jones wasn't around to make us laugh all the time?

We can play this game all day long :D

  11. Not to sound like someone stomping on the flowers but I think it's over kill of Peyton.

It's all over every national sports website and media outlet. Even when we got one year without him we had to hear about him a lot, but now that he's back you have two sides of the coin. One is just going over the moon with expectations, praying he brings as many SBs as possible to Denver, and the other is praying to see him fall.

I'm tired of hearing about him, but I wish the best to him. I can't help but comment on how Denver spent so much on him without giving him WRs or at least working on the offensive line. He's going to need guys to throw to and some protection.

  12. They both are bound to become problems in the locker room for both teams, but I'd say T.O.

Seattle is looking for a lot of trouble I must say. They signed Braylon Edwards, and Kellen Winslow both, and now T.O.?

I don't think the 49ers are going to suffer much offensively with Moss. Just look at that offensive line and remember how they looked last year. That defense already does 3/4's of the work. I'd say Seattle suffers more, and that's what really matters over stats for the two of them is how they impact their teams.

  13. Oh boy, I was dreading it when I seen it in the news.

I just hope the Packers offense is not as predicatable as last years. We seen them in the playoffs running that same stuff. The other half of the problem defensively is going to be worse if things aren't fixed. I will say last year was a blue moon of a year with the QBs going over 5,000, a team going 15-1 and not even making the confrence championship, and a 9-7 team winning the super bowl. Much tougher schedule this year too for the Pack.
