I can sense when a forehead vein is popping out.
Apparently not.

Best third down defense in the nfl right now
That's huge.
-
3 way tie with getting the most sacks in the league. This is a new team this year. See you in November.
That's not true. 5 teams have more sacks than the Colts. The Patriots and jets are two of them.
-
official shouldnt have made the player move its the players that should know the rules why help them out basically is cheating i didnt really care who won just think official shouldnt have done it and if u going to do that shouldnt u be consistent with decisions like that
You do know they do it for the Colts as well right?
-
You guys will use any thing to back your point but if another fan try's it it don't count like Peyton your buddy am rips him about SBs but when we say that's a team accomplishment she denies it but she has certainly used that damn argument to back her point just like you all do it there is a reason no one likes pats fans
It sounds like you have issues you need to take up with AM. I try to be cordial and factual. No one likes Patriots fans? That's what you call "Painting with a broad brush".

Don't get your panties in a bunch. Take a deep breathe.
What are you talking about? I'm as chill as can be.
-
nonsense I've seen enough from the pats trolls I know you use all excuses and then when another teams fans say that it don't count your buddy amfootball does it all the time
You are not even making sense and be completely unreasonable. Seriously as hard as I try I can't decipher your post. Relax.
-
Hey they do that all the time don't ya know?? Just ask our local pats trolls
Or you can ask these guy's.
Conspiracy theories swept across social media after video emerged of a ref helping the New England Patriots avoid a five-yard alignment penalty just before blocking a field goal at the end of regulation to beat the New York Jets, 27-25, on Thursday night.
But an NFL spokesman told Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports that the ref moving Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower out of an illegal position over the center just before the snap "is a standard officiating procedure that occurs regularly."
NFL Vice President of Officiating Dean Blandino confirmed the statement, saying that umpires will routinely remind players to stay off the center as a player safety precaution.

I find it curious that an official physically shoves a Pats defender just prior to the snap to avoid a penalty which would have given the Jets a second chance on the field goal attempt.
Why?
-
Ohhhhh it only works that way when it's convenient for you!! Gotcha
No it works the same for every team (not you or me). What one team did against another has zero impact or meaning other than being a common opponent.
-
Well I'm just going by what you guys say the pats are good to you guys and were better just assumed we are great my bad
If losing to the phins blownout by the chiefs and barely beating the jets is good then I would just assume only losing to other great teams and smashing terrible teams would make is great
You need to watch more football. The league doesn't work like that.
-
That's eveyone of you guys excuse it's still on the COLTS fan forum *
No excuse needed. If you don't want to hear about the Patriots staying off a Patriots thread would be a great start.
-
Hey just pointing out what's been circulating. I can't tell he's 2-3 yards away on TV.
Don't believe everything you read on the interweb. How can you not tell approximately how far of the line he is? Have you ever noticed those little marks every 3 feet on the field.
-
don't see where you have any evidence that were not a great team our only losses are against the broncos and eagles two very good teams your team has lost to Mia and KC and squeaked by the Jets
I wasn't aware evidence was needed. The Colts are good not great as any reasonable fan will tell you.
-
The ref moved Hightower to avoid the Patriots getting a 5 yard penalty and a rekick.
Under NFL rules, defenders have to line up outside the shoulders of the long snapper on a field goal attempt. It's a penalty to stand directly above the long snapper: Hightower was over the long snapper, in an illegal position, before the ref intervened.
Your credibility is shot.
-
Sorry my team didnt just barely beat the Geno led jets and didnt get smashed by the chiefs do believe the weak teams we have faced we destroyed and pulled our starters but ok
Oh yeah can't forget getting beat by the dolphins lol
Pats may be an alright team but this crap from the media and their fans is old I'm done with the whole the pats are great because of what they've done in the past nonsense
What and awesome well thought out and informative post. Thank you.

3 way tie with getting the most sacks in the league. This is a new team this year. See you in November.
The Jets lead the league in sacks going into last night game so I guess they're a great team.
-
did you read it or are you just assuming you won't like it?
I read half of it. Life's to short for bad books. Move on.
-
The colts are a great team I also blame our OC partially for the eagles loss he should have just ran the damn ball on 3rd down and kicked the east my FG
Ok so GB, Detroit and NE are normal but the Colts are great? If they're so great shouldn't they deserve a capitol?
I like the if, if ,if arguments.
-
But as I said, the previous 14 years have absolutely nothing to do with this year's team.
Who said they did?
So we agree that winning team get tougher schedules. Good.

The
As I said, there were a few big plays (which were mostly complete breakdowns by the Jet defense rather than anything special New England did).
Yes, they are in one of the weakest 3 divisions this season (AFC East, AFC South, NFC South).
As for the winningest team in the last 15 years, those other 14 teams are not on the field, only this year's team and it is nothing special.
They're 5-2 and in first place.
The more success the harder SOS meaning no team has played a tougher schedule than the Patriots over the last 15 season. Fact.
-
They played two tough teams in Denver and SD equal to our Denver and Philly. Two bad teams in Oakland and Chicago equal to our bad teams Jacksonville and Tennessee. And 3 normal teams in Green Bay Detroit and NE. We could win all those with the team we have the 2 late blown calls that all of America seen against the eagles cost us that game and I believe if we played Denver a little later and not the first game we win it as well
You could say Chicago isn't as bad as Tennessee or Jacksonville and I agree but they still aren't very good either Baltimore and Houston are both doing good
We all see blown calls in every game. It sucks but it's the new norm so get used to it and stop the whining. Are the Colts a normal team?

New England looks extremely suspect in my opinion. The offense is lackluster and the defense is a hollow shell.
Other than a few big plays the lowly New York Jets completely dominated them.
However, they will make the playoffs because they are in the one of the 3 worst divisions in the league.
TOP was concerning but the fact that the O got as many points as they did in that time was impressive. The run D is a HUGE concern and was hurting the pass D. Mayo's loss was felt. BB always says "improve every week". They do keep winning through it all. The Patriots are held to a higher standard.
3 divisions? Now that's funny. They are they winningest team in the league over the last 15 years. Do you have any idea what that means regarding scheduling?

The Patriots have to be near the bottom of the league. They drive me nuts with their third down ineptitude. I just heard that it was the FIRST time in NFL history that a team had 40+ minutes T.O.P., 200+ rushing yds. and no turnovers and lost.
