The Seahawks are a better overall team than any other. Is Russell Wilson better than luck? No way Jose.
When the Colts played the Broncos their defense gave up 24 first half points. Seattle's d gave up 3. If u don't understand what these numbers mean u don't get football.
Ask yourself "would I trade my qb for theirs?" I don't think u would find one taker that is a Colts fan. Not so long ago Big Ben was the greatest ever running a similar team. Big Ben is really good but nobody even hints at him being in the "elite" company of Manning and Brady anymore.
Who won that game?

How's the NFL corrupt?
-
Yes. Cousins thinks like a QB should.
-
They remind me of the Patriots first SB winning team.
-
Wilson is the most versatile QB in the league with plenty of smarts and a great work ethic. Right NOW he's not only better than Luck but every other QB as well. A month from now things may line up a little different but not by much. The guys fun to watch and knows how to take care of himself so we'll be watching him for years to come.

The good old "phantom" roughing the passer call...
Pats got hosed in that game. More than once as I recall.
They we're the best team in football that year in my young eyes.

These thread will look silly later this season.

so, taplook, are you saying browns are better than the colts and we will probably lose to them, and out of cowboys, titans and jags we are getting 1 (ONE!) win "AT BEST"?!
Sorry I meant 3-1 at best.
-
Meant his home where he grew up.
The place he used to call home.

We're not going to lose to Jacksonville, Tennessee, Cleveland and Dallas....
...when the schedule came out...we ALL knew 0-2 was a possibility
Very true on the 0-2. I see 1-3 at best in the games mentioned. Cleveland isn't a pushover and Dallas is on par with Indy.

The phrase 'thugs' will come back on whoever ran this board
Why?

BB says you don't have a good idea of what you are until week 6 or 7.

The Colts are around a .500 team IMO. They're reloading, Lucks very good but not great and they've overachieved the last two seasons. Remember when everyone felt they would take a step back? Well this is it.
-
No TY isn't a #1 and I don't think ever will be but he's a fine receiver that would be a welcome addition to pretty much any team in the league.
-
Oakland Raiders will fit in well.
Brady can go back to his home.
His home is Boston Massachusetts. He lives there with, Giselle, Jack and Ben year around as their main residence. They don't own a home in California anymore.
-
I know. I'd love to see Denver blown out by Seattle again.
-
It's the same as always. Some weeks you win and some weeks you lose.

Dude should be arrested for animal cruelty. He's been beating horses for years.

AP is nothing but scum IMO. I don't care how good he is if I was an owner or commissioner he'd be done.

Which teams do you cheer for in sports?
I'm a Boston sports fan.
I think this is the beginning of the end of the Brady era in NE for a couple of reasons.
1.) He's 37 and declining.
2.) Pats look like they got a good replacement in Garoppolo.
3.) The Pats' organization needs some soul searching to be a super bowl winner or they'll continue to go 12-4 and lose in the play offs every year.
4.) Belichick's philosophy and ways I think are a hindrance now. He doesn't know how to build a good defense or draft good consistently. There's been more busts under Belichick than great players drafted.
5.) The AFC East is getting better and more competitive and the Pats can't rest on relying on others in the division to lose to benefit themselves.
Some truth and some garbage to your post IMO. I do know that they are the only team that a 12-4 record without a SB is considered a failed season. Why they're held to a higher standard than the other 31 teams is anyone's guess. Envy? Unmatched prolonged success? Organizational excellence? Do you know why?
-
sometime they'll buck that trend, and maybe sooner than later...
It'll be later...but you know that.
-
Yeah, but didn't they have more a complete team that year with a good offensive line, good defensive line, Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel?
This current Pats' team has so many flaws at the most important positions (O-line and D-line). They're run game isn't that good either.
Yes that was a good young O-line and a solid D. I 'm not to worried about the O-line but the D scared me. I expected a noticeable improvement immediately and it was like watching last years D play WITHOUT Talib in the lineup.
-
What's wrong with having a real defensive coordinator? They haven't had a good defense since Crennel left. Belichick's way doesn't work and it hasn't worked since the Pioli/Weis/Crennel days. Those defenses in the early 2000's under Belichick, well many of those guys were drafted by Parcels and Carroll.
Many Pats' fans can't connect the dots.
There's a good dose on truth here but BB's had some very good points against D's.

Coaching matters. You can have lots of talent but if the coach isn't good and doesn't put forth a good game plan then those players are running around confused and out schemed.
BB loves to teach and is more than up for the challenge.

Actually you can dig my posts up on the subject. I said Kap was a flash in the pan. To risky at QB and the wrong demeanor for a leader. I also said that Wilson was by far the best of all the young QB's. Wilson has the "It" factor that eludes many of the most gifted athletes.
