  1. Sorry, I'm not trying to be preaching.... (apparently, I'm failing) yes, I recognize this is a message board and fans will be optimistic. I try to be realistic. That's how I've always operated as a fan. I find it's easier for me to enjoy games that way.

Works for me. I realize it doesn't work for most.

Fan's arent rational or realistic....fan is short for Fanatic...which means you may be irrational, unrealistic and kinda crazy....I've been kinda crazy since I saw a team of NOBODIES being coached by Sr Citizen make it all the way to the '95 AFC Championship....they didnt even deserve to be there honestly. That coupled with all of the years we were God awful I have no choice but believe in the best case scenario...All fans do that because that's how they're wired....your a new Colts fan which means to me you'll eventually be a FORMER Colts fan...so no one really has time for what you have to say.

  2. I think if Luck will run a bit more in this game it will help tremendously with the sack issue. I think he needs to come out of the pocket a bit more in this game when he doesn't see anyone open, instead of standing in the pocket waiting on something to happen. There was a lot of room to run last night when Brady scrambled out, and moved up in the pocket.

    Very true.

  3. Our defense can beat the Houston offense, as long as we show the same ability to stop the run that we have been seeing.

The real question, and the deciding factor of the game, is will our o-line hold it's own against the Houston defense.

BINGO!!! Watt beat up on Brady last night, he didn't get a sack but he made his presence felt all night exploited mismatches all over the line....I HOPE, HOPE, HOPE the proper adjustments are made to the Line this week otherwise Luck is going to get hurt.

  4. Andy Luck is a geek, he's kinda funny looking, doesn't make you laugh, will NOT pull a Victoria's Secret Model....you almost want to steal his lunch money except for the fact that he's bigger stronger and faster than your average bully You'd almost think he grew up down the street and went to Carmel High School.....but folks said that before he got drafted lol. Analysts cited the fact his game is boring, very precise efficient and lame to watch lol...I'm fine with it...excitement can lead to mild heart attacks and gettin your knee snapped by unusually fast Samoan NT's

  5. and spillers yardage a good chunk came on 1 play

Exactly! I think their focus will be to make the team one dimensional. I feel better about Vontae on AJ, because while AJ is a big WR he's no Megatron and he's no B Marshal...he reminds me more of a Reggie Wayne Lite, more cerebral than physical, he beats folks more with his ability...New England's strategy was to force him to do that with one on ones last night and it was very successful...who's next? Jean, Kevin Walters??? Good Players but more down to earth.

  6. Our Run D is great this year, after the Jets game they definitely made the right adjustments because all season none of the big time RBs have had great games against us

    Forte-80 yds

    AD-60 yds

    MJD-177 yds (yuck)

    Alex Green-63 yds

Shonn Green- 161 yds (yuck again)

    T. Rich- 8 yds

    CJ28- 99 yds

    Bush- 41 yds

    Ridley- 28 yds

    Spiller- 107 yds

    CJ28 again- 44 yds

Texans arent the same team when they have to rely solely on Schaub...Schaub isn't elite yet....

  7. He's a seventh rounder ....too much risk...and I dont think its a matter of being fragile...I said as a freshman he needs to leave as early as possible because Spurrier is dead set on running that kid into the ground. I've met Marcus Lattimore...he's much smaller than he looks in games, but he has the heart of a lion. He's an Adrian Peterson Lite....I think he'll recover because its been proven that he can recover but theres still a lot of risk.

  8. Texans are good until they play an elite team like the Packers & Patriots. Colts make the playoffs but not the SB

At this point we will not say what this team cannot do, because we obviously no longer know the limits to their potential

  9. I still dont understand why Shipley doesnt get more love....he won the Remington Award his last year at Penn St....that mean he was the best center in the country lol, so needless to say I'd like to see him more....I'd like to see Coby Fleener much more and I'd like to see Guy more because he has the tangibles to be really good.
