  1. I agree with Anton to a degree...we really aren't as bad off defensively as I previously thought...understanding the draft is so deep with defensive talent, however, we need to address where we need help...we do....we need a CB (Rhodes) and we need a Rusher. We are unexpectedly deep at the D Line and middle linebackers...Lefeged is an NFL starter...he is...he just needed to get his experience this year and he didnt. He's quite the ballhawk, so there's no need to invest there...although I wanted Elam last week lol.

Rookies are pretty cheap...with the money we have we need to go out and reinvest in the Oline...remember the O Line we have now was basically from the bargain bin...we got what we could with the meager resources available financially. I'd like to see Louis Vasquez picked up, Jermon Bushrod (but thats wishful thinking)and perhaps a project. Although I think Robert Griffin (no III) is said project. I'd like to see Shipley and Anthony stay...McGynn is garbage sauce, Sowell my God....he's terrible and Satele gets hurt too much.....but easily the line is the biggest priority...our Defense really isn't that bad honestly.

  2. I agree with Husker, usually I stop watching football until the Super Bowl...but I was proud of the teams performance, the score wasn't indicative of the game or the effort given. We were relying on some youngins and we just got an old fashioned beating by some of the best that ever done it in the B'more defense....if we were to lose to anyone I'd prefer the Ravens...they're a great team, with alot of spirit and heart.

  3. I knew that is what you bring up. You completely misrepresent that situation. Dick LeBeau is a hundred years old and they have promised the job to Butler when LeBeau retires. That had nothing to do with him being afraid of working in Indy.

If those teams make an offer, I would guess he would take it. But there is nothing close to assured that they will offer him. There are things he has going against him.

"Completely misrepresent"?? LOL, Now you're a lawyer...fact is DC is a step up..and while Dick LeBeau is an old man he is a NFL Lifer which means he's going to coach until he cannot...why be a coach in waiting when you can become a DC???? DC is a springboard to bigger and better things and at the end of the day this is still a business.......

and if a team makes BA an offer he WILL take it....

  4. 1) Saying he is "definitely" going is a stretch.  It does take a team to decide they want him and while he clearly did well this year, there is more to it than that.

    2) Who were the people that were begged to come to Indy and did not?

Pittsburgh's LB coach for D Coordinator off the top of the dome....and he is definitely going...if San Diego or Chicago make an offer he'll take it...

  5. Arians is definitely going...I listened to his local media interview before the second Titans game and he told them "The goal is always to become a Head Coach"....that's all I needed to know. Granted, its tough to change systems but I dont think it will be hard to find talent at OC...last year folks were begged to come here and some still refused. This year coaches and players see the raw potential and will want to be a part of it

  6. I think this is an example the "wholesale" changes that Luck said they wouldn't be making.

I dont know if this is a wholesale change necessarily...I think he may run more if the defense allows it....B'more is fairly slow but they did try to snap RG3's leg in half...hmmmm..nevermind that whole running thing

  7. This may be the most exciting game to watch all weekend....I love the Colts but I've always been a Ray Lewis fan....and he's definitely lost a step. He shedded alot of weight in the offseason to be quicker but he lost alot of power, he's just not the same guy....T Sizzle isnt the same...Ed Reid is still Ed Reid but he's ready to retire as well....the Defense just isnt the same. My biggest concern is Ngata in the middle....I hope Shipley starts because Satele will be eaten alive.

  8. ^Completely disagree with this^

Agreed...RG3 should never be compared to Cam, he's simply much better....I'm not shocked by the amount of media coverage...they loved him at Baylor too. The experts basically said Luck's game wasn't sexy enough...he was efficient, won games but he had no "Heisman Moments" anyone remember that?? Luck was lame and boring and RG3 was exciting....to be honest Washington's MVP is a little dude from Pensacola, FL named Alfred Morris...he's their savior....

  9. I'm willing to bet dozens and dozens of rookie quarterbacks had a better rating than that, nice name drop by the authour though. When it comes down to it, the only thing Luck supporters can hang their hat on is wins, which is a team achievement. RG3 is the rookie of the year. The Colt's defense carried the team. In their 11 victories, opponents averaged 18.2 points per game, which is good for 5th in the league, which is pretty good since Luck had a lot of turnovers. I see a team with a great defense that has it's bad days. I don't know where the myth started with ESPN pundits that Andrew Luck is working with nothing. They clearly have an agenda...

Andrew Luck isn't even top 5. I'd give it to Hilton before him.

RG3, Muscle Hamster, Morris, WIlson should be way ahead of him. But the hype carries him...and the cancer storylline...

    Who is this dude?????

  10. Okay....If you missed the Sugar Bowl you missed alot of talent on the field last night....sure we knew about Matt Elam, the UF DLine and Gilleslie....but on the other side Louisville had a freakin' monster at DE named Marcus Smith...by the end of the night I thought he and Driskel were goin steady....He's a DE in Louisville's4-3 system but he has the size of a prototypical 3-4 OLB at 6'3" 252...DID ANYONE ELSE SEE HIM??
