He looks like he demands to be double teamed

Amendola is weak...all we need on the offensive side of the ball is better interior linemen, that's it! Defensive side, I'd like to start with an Elam or Reid...Rhodes can be picked up in the second round if we deal for that pick....
-
In the future I would suggest you check out someone's posting history before you question their fan hood because in this case you couldn't be more wrong.
I dont need to do all of that, chill out, it's never that serious.

Well he isn't a Texans fan, either. You have to have jackets to be a part of the club.
He has made a valid point.
Whats so great about these type of online communities is the fact that everyone has differing opinions...we dont have to agree obviously...I'm not a fan of the negativity and that's really all there is to it...didnt expect buddy to get sensitive because i said he's a Texans fan...I'm sure you all are a fine bunch of gents.

Another plus..he's Austrailian..thats kinda cool to me.

The few mocks I've seen from blogs have the Colts picking up Jessie Williams...the DT from Bama...I dont like the pick because there are so many DT's in this draft, On the plus side at his size (6'4" 320) he can play DE or NT. He's a run stuffer but he's by no means a pass rusher...is stronger than chapman which is scary but like Chapman has knee issues (see SEC Championship)

I've been a Colts fan since 1991 when they were 1-15 and been a member here since 2003 when the Forum had to be shut down because Pats fans were making jokes about Stokley's kid after the AFC Title game. I have some of the most likes on this forum and some of the most posts. So I must be really committed to being a Texans fan in disguise for that to be true.
Seriously it's those kinds of pop shots that is making this place even more unreadable. They aren't funny so spare me the I am joking line if that's what you were doing. It was a pop shot and the kind people are using more and more just because they don't like that someone doesn't agree with them. If you don't agree with my argument fine leave it to that. However the questioning of people's fan hood, calling people homers, or haters just because people don't like someone else's view point is getting tired.
I didn't say AJ couldn't be shut down I am asking you what have you seen from the Colts secondary this season to make you think that is going to happen when the Colts play him? The other two tall WRs we played this year that are top five in the NFL much like Johnson is ate our lunch in Marshall and Calvin Johnson. What makes you think it's going to be any different against Andre Johnson? I am all for giving Davis a chance but he didn't exactly stop the other two so I don't think the odds favor him doing it twice against Andre Johnson in three weeks. I would love for it to happen but I don't think it's very likely.
Second you can say what you want but when you are 11-1 and most of those games haven't been close you haven't been exposed for anything other than being really good. If you don't want to give the Texans credit for that then fine that's up to you. However, other people going man the Texans are a really good team does not make them Texans fans. It's recognizing that there are other good teams in this league and giving credit where credit is due.
I wasn't joking at all.....

That sucks for him.
Def does...he was a decent player...
-
He looked like a young Deion Sanders the way he covered that TE....
-
Why are Colts as a fan base so negative....I understand the history, I've been a fan since 3rd grade (1989) when it was hard to be a fan and even when we were really good we really weren't but dang lets be more positive about making the playoffs.....

- Look up Baker Steinkuhler, DT/3-4 DE from Nebraska. 6'6", 290 lbs - has size like J.J.Watt and once Jared Crick, the starting DT went down, he has played well enough to be considered in the late rounds, IMO.
- Walter Stewart, DE, Cincinnati - 6'4", 248 lbs - very quick first step for a 3-4 OLB. This school produced Trent Cole and Connor Barwin, just FYI.
- Adrian Bushell, CB, Louisville - 5'10", 190 lbs, had off field issues, was once vying for a starting job across Janoris Jenkins at Florida. Transferred to Louisville because he had off field issues at Florida, has played at a high level in Louisville though the Big East is not that strong, worth a look
Stewart has a spinal defect that won't allow him to play at the next level.

first of all a team that has only lost once all year 3/4 of the way threw has not been exposed as anything but really good. Second what exactly have you seen from our secondary to suggest they are going to have a shot at shutting down Johnson?
Your argument is not compelling, are you a Texans fan in disguise?? AJ can be shut down...he was shut down last week....Foster was limited last week...its not impossible. I believe in Vontae...and he will show up for AJ. The point I was trying to make is the way that Houston was winning throughout the season is not the way they're winning now, in fact I dont think they will make it to the big game...there, it's been said.

Good point, but I highly doubt we are going to let them come into Indy and beat us. We are at the point mentally where we will not be denied the playoffs. You can see it in our guys. I think we are going to put a beat down on Tennessee this Sunday. For real!
As far as KC is concerned, I have had my reservations about that game as well. They have some talented guys on that defense, but their offense sucks mostly due to bad quarterbacking. I'm not totally sure if I would be surprised if we lost that game, but I just doubt we are going to lay any unexpected eggs going forward. Our goal is just too close!
I'm hoping this game will be similar to the second Jacksonville game as far as us knowing the opponents better and eliminating mistakes

Kendall Wright had the game of his life the last time we played. I hope he's defended better this time.
-
The world is licking their chops to see Colts v Broncos...honestly I hope the standings stay as is because that would be a great game to watch.

I like to tell Patriot fans that all the greatest QBs of all time have been ugly. Montana: has a butt crack on his chin. Bradshaw: uuuugggglyyyy. Manning: forehead the size of Toledo. Unitas: not handsome. Namath: he wore fur coats and panty hose for God's sake! I've never known a great QB who was handsome and stylish. For some reason Patriot fans take exception to that...
Tom Brady is a handsome man...but he's a beast on the field...I dont like him...but he's awesome.
-
There are no other options at this point...might as well see if Anderson has what it takes...but if Chappy threw him like a rag doll im not that enthusiastic
-
I think Houston has been exposed by a few teams...they're vulnerable to the pass on defense and offensively they are limited....if you shut down AJ and the LB's disrupt their TE Passing game they have to rely solely on running.....which we've gotten better at shutting down
-
Luck is definitely a nerd, but he's true to himself. You have to respect it. He doesnt even have that temper you see in most elite qb's ....maybe it will come with age....
-
1. Ezekiel Ansah(BYU)beast and freakish athlete, just learned football 3 years ago DE
3.sean porter(TAMU)- changed schemes and fell OLB
4. Desmond Trufant- (Washington)play him opposite Davis and leave butler in the slot (CB)
5.Ray-ray Armstrong( the U) kicked off the team but still talented (SS)
FA
Mike Wallace/ Dwayne Bowe- either way our WR corp is dangerous
Andy Levitre with our new guard should at least give Luck more time
The idea is not to sign a huge amount of free agents, so we can keep cap flexibility in the future to resign our young core
Thoughts
Probably my favorite mock up.... I like Levitre, I like the pick up of Trufant and Ray Ray in the late rounds I even like Sean Porter...However I'd prefer us getting a SS in the first round.
-
I hope we go DB or Safety in RD 1, This draft has a good amount of DT, and 3-4 OLB types, we can get one in the third round.
-
No one covered him. It was basically prevent defense. Avery was by himself the whole time.
Lacey almost got an interception two plays earlier, by the way.
Watch the play again, he was supposed to come up for Avery but decided to go further back in coverage

I'll leave that to Chicago. They may be looking to get revenge after that (somehow legal) power-bomb of Jay Cutler earlier this year. Plus, they need as much help as they can get on the offensive line.
Chicago's O Line isnt good enough to exact revenge on anyone....
-
Vontae was pretty good, except for the Johnson touchdown. I don't know why he had to fall down right before the ball got there. He might have been able to make a play on the ball.
Yeah I was watching Vontae that entire play. To be honest I had no idea who Stafford was passing to when he ended up rolling right...Vontae kept up with him for the most part after a long progressing route. It may have been a different story if he didnt fall...or if the DLine provided more timely pressure, lol. I'm not gonna complain though. They were decent against a quality OLine
ravens might not make playoffs so we could see steelers or bengals first round

Ravens are faltering....I'll be honest...a team I DONT want to see in the Wildcard is the Bengals....
