I thought Vontae looked good...he was all over the field , pressured Stafford well, good open field tackling.

Ugh....I'm tired of folks saying we dont have a running game.....WE DO its just not used...the drive Vick Scored on was basically all runs with the exception of the long pass to Avery....Arians just hates to run, this is a known fact
-
Suh is definitely a brat....a product of being told he can do no wrong...read an interesting article about him in GQ, dude still lives with his parents during the offseason....and his sister takes care of him...he's a large bratty child.....

1st I didn't see any pitch forks and torches come out for Luck on this topic. and 2nd He's not 8-4, the team is. Where some don't give him enough credit, others give him too much
Post of the night! I agree...We can't put all our success and failure on 12's back. This team isnt' built that way, this team was built to be more balanced and not rise and fall of the success/failures of one person..that was the design for the past 10-15 years. Its not one that insure success....I've never seen a more complete Colts team...I really hate this thread.

Well, there are reasons Roethlisberger got hit so much in Pittsburgh and it didn't have as much to do with the OL as many think. The same could be said for Luck and this season.
Yessir!!!!!!

Man I thought Thomas would be a monster.....

wouldn't say it scares me, What is scary is Suh knows our protections and that Andrew holds onto the ball a little to long and that we dont have much of a short passing game. Lucks is mobile so that is a good thing. But if there was ever a time for Arians to figure out what a short passing game is or what I have meant by saying Go short to go long then this would be that game because our O Line does not stand a chance in this game if we are using long passes down after down and this would be the game if Andrew was gonna get hurt then this is it
That's what I mean...I'm not referring to Suhs desire to break Andrew's face, moreso the fact that they believe the passing game is one dimensional and can be easily exploited
-
That's what concerns me...they expect the Long ball as opposed to the short passing game we'd all like to see....seems like adjustments havent been made.....

Joe has the intangibles to be great, he had two int's as a rookie...I think that gets forgotten as it was such an awful year but Joe shoulda been the starter this year IMHO...

Joe has looked good on ST, but if he was outplaying Zibikowski in practice surely he would have been stepped up by now.
Still he has an opportunity, I hope he takes it.
Thats not necessarily true, Zibs is of the new regime, Lefeged is from the former, that tends to also play a role in decision making
-
I wouldnt mind seeing Joe take this spot and make it his.

Did someone get Luck-y with the writer's wife? Why is he so bitter...He big upped the other young QB's from Texas (Dalton, RGIII) but insults Luck??? Dont get it, but its definitely very disrespectful...

I like the pics...the projected rounds seem a bit inaccurate....referring to Patton, Rambo and Taylor
-
Kiffin was giving up 50-60 points to folks, LOL. He ruined hisself. I must admit I've had a change of heart about Manusky.....He's really done a great job with a patchwork D

All this Elam projecting has gotten me very hyped....seriously..I'd love for the Colts to pick him up but as far as FA pick ups....
1)Dwayne Bowe-Hear me out, he's kinda crazy but I'd be crazy if I played for a team my whole career that never had a talented QB. he's a big WR and a great compliment to Hilton and Wayne...and he just wants to leave
2) Sabastian Vollmer- Very solid tackle...and since no one is sacred in NE he may be an easy steal
3) Cliff Avril-Although he plays in a base 4-3 I think he'd make a fine OLB
-
Zibi was the second/third stringer in Baltimore....I wasnt expecting him to do big things....but Moore, yessir, Moore is a grown man out there. That Atl secondary doesnt get enough credit....
-
Actually I kind of like Reid from LSU.
I like Reid too but I was speaking more on project picks....like 6-7th round low risk picks, because if Ray Ray doesnt go back to Miami that's what he'll end up being. I wouldnt be surprised if the Colts made multiple pics for DB's and DT's so we'll have a variety of studs and project picks
-
why was david wilson a strange first round pick? tons of talent, but in the giant dog house as of now.
Maybe because Andre Brown is the better #2
-
35-21 Detroit....they're going to go for Homerun Balls the whole game....
-
I'd like Suh to be on the other side of Redding...a D Line of Redding Chapman and Suh......my God.......MY GOD!!!! What a nightmare!
-
That's what I see.
Mathis and Freeney are still getting double teams
They dont double Jerry Hughes..
Agreed...thing is I'd like to see Freeney stay...he's about to be 33 and the chances of him getting picked up for his current pay is slim to none...like super slim. I hope he agrees to a smaller contract with us.
-
I think Brazil needs to get more slot experience...Lets forget about Collie shall we?
-
The experts have always said he'd be a Safety in the league so I guess that's how I've always viewed him..however if we were to have a project pick at Satety I'd like Ray Ray Armstrong.....kid is a baby Sean Taylor. He messed up at Miami by taking favors and blasting it on Twitter...kid's a knucklehead but has a great deal of upside.
Guess who was covering Avery on that final play?
