  1. Most definitely not. I still am of the belief that for right now, Alex Smith is the best option for the Niners to win. He's been in big games, he was playing very well before he got the concussion. I would have made it an open competition next year with CK, with him getting maybe 5-8 snaps a game, or in at garbage time this year. He is explosive, but going against Belichek is difficult, even with a Peyton Manning at QB.

Niners are going down, and hard today..Being a Colt fan, its hard for me to say that. I just don't see the kid doing well against a team like NE.

Yeah, that would have been a wise thing to do, but the Niners are fully committed to CK at this point, I think. And the biggest reason might be that they would have to pay large bonus to Alex at the end of the season. I cannot remember the exact figure but maybe 7-8 million. If they think CK is the answer, they would not want to give Alex that money to be their no. 2. And it would be really hard to ditch Alex after they win super bowl with him.

  2. I am way behiind on things to do so dont expect much from n me going forward today

GET THIS The wheel chair van forget was supposed to stay to take mom back from early am Dr appointment so took hrs and only recently got home - the psot saying I am gone u quoted was 7:20 AM

U dont want to hear the words i want to say

Oh crap! That fully sucks for you. I'll just imagine the words you want to say!

  3. FROM The above noted headline , & then I am leaving for appointment, havent had chance to read rest of areticles noted before

Ray Rice a handful for Broncos defense with Ravens run and pass

So Caldwell is expected to put the ball into Rice's hands more this week.

People around the NFL believe that and the Broncos certainly believe that.

"Oh definitely I think they're going to look to use Ray Rice more," is how safety Jim Leonhard put it. "He's a difficult match-up because of all the things he can do."

Rice will stress the Broncos linebackers and safeties plenty in pass coverage and he continues to trouble defenses in the running game.

Enjoy the articles, back late AM

GO :blueshoe:'s Go :fb: What a great sport & Go Peyton, & now Go Barry ( LOL ) & I AM GONE

    Thanks for all the articles.

I fear Ray Rice a bit. He is the reason why we must get ahead quickly and make them one dimensional. We should be able to do it. We are getting better in all facets, but our defense has been particularly strong the last 3 games or so. I'm sure our offense is focusing on fixing the disappointing red zone results of the last game. I think they are looking to fire on all cylinders the last quarter of the season.

  4. Indy is 100-1..other teams have mojo, too

The Colts would have to win 3 roads games just to reach the Super Bowl..maybe Denver, Houston and New England

    Like Denver and NE? Yeah.

I'm unsure about the Niners. It seems like Harbaugh's clutch is weakening a bit. Who's going to take the NFC? I have no idea.

  5. as before last nights game

    1. Patriots 4-1

    2. Broncos, Texans, 49ers 9-2

    5. Packers 6-1

    6. Falcons 8-1

    7. Giants 10-1

    8. Seahawks 18-1

    9. Ravens 20-1

    10. Steelers 25-1

    11. Redskins, Cowboys, Bears 40-1

    14. Bengals, Colts 60-1 ( I DOUBT THIS < ITS MUCH CLOSER TO ME , 3 x worse than Ravens , no way )

    16. Vikings, Rams 200-1

    18. Jets, Bucs 500-1

    20. Chargers, Dolphins, Bills, Browns 2000-1

9-2 isn't bad. It's a really hard thing to accomplish. And I agree; 60-1 seems low for Colts. There is some serious mojo going in Indy.

  6. its not blank, look at far right & read comment # 45 1st article, HES DECLARED OUT ALREADY

who is Ravens MIKE Here Is Depth Chart

& from end of article in comment 45

If the Ravens are without McClain, Lewis and Ellerbe, then Brendon Ayanbadejo and Josh Bynes will take the bulk of the reps at inside linebacker. Albert McClellan who has started at outside linebacker, could also move inside to help provide some depth in the middle of the defense.

DEPTH CHART < I HAVE NEVER SEEN A POSITION CALLED RUSH BEFoRE , Suggs & Upshaw

    http://www.baltimoreravens.com/team/depth-chart-2012.html

If Kupers vready we want him, if not save him for plaoffs no matter the seating

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I remember Brendon Ayanbadejo at UCLA long time ago. I guess Rush is rush linebacker in 3-4.

I don't want them to push Kuper and Woodyard...

  7. Broncos-Ravens Wednesday Injury Report

    many on Ravens list

Note Lewis isnt listed as still considered on IR, guess means he cant practice till off so if plays may be starting cold

Wow, that's ugly for the Ravens. And I wonder why Jameel McClain's status is blank. Who's their mike now? Maybe we don't need Kuper back this week.

  8. Jim Caldwell can fix Baltimore Ravens' offense in four easy steps

    Thanks for the good read.

I'm curious what kind of defense we will use against their no huddle. I'm assuming stopping Ray Rice is the priority #1 but our base defense feels sketchy against run up the middle. Though surprisingly, our rush defense is in top 5. If we can get ahead early, it will give our defense chance to be more aggressive.

  9. Well I say the Broncos will win because there new coach is Jim Caldwell . :funny:

Well, that's good! He's that bad, yeh?

also Broncos sogn Tackle off practice squad ,. what does that mean for Kuper ?? or amyone else on OL , or just filling a spot ??

Cornick, Paul 6'6" 300 lbs rookie

no article but just picture with caption at practice

    http://www.denverbro...db-88a41e253f61

Observing, but not fully participating in practice Monday was linebacker Wesley Woodyard and right guard Chris Kuper.

(( WEE NEED BOTH < ESP KUPER TO PROTECT PEYTON < NUT WOODYARD TO TACKLE RICE TOO ))

Both starters missed the game against the Raiders because of ankle injuries

The Broncos hope both players will be available to play against the Ravens.

We had a practice spot open as Dallas signed Darrion Weems off our squad to active roster.

I'm not too worried about Woodyard but I'm reasnably worried about Kuper. I think it's the same ankle that had a gruesome injury which ended his season last year. We really, really need him to be healthy.

  10. have a good day, want kup back too, its more than just communication, the difference is so dramatic unless Ramirez speak or signal well, or understand peytons language, maybe head not able to grasp it

must go am busy and behind already

    My Holiday,

Hanukkah ( spelled many ways ) starts tonight at sundown ,Happy holidays to u from my holiday

Happy Hanukkha, Barry! Enjoy your holidays!

  11. Read above comment &^ article called

Broncos-Ravens: Top priority for Denver is improving pass protection

    From It

Of Manning's 19 sacks this season, 17 have come with Kuper not in the lineup and Manny Ramirez on the field in place of the Broncos' offensive captain.

((( top me thats more than miscommunication as Fox Says, thats a Ramirez problem )))

Read more:Broncos-Ravens: Top priority for Denver is improving pass protection - The Denver Posthttp://www.denverpos...s#ixzz2ESUnVaBd

Hmmmm, is communication problem easier to fix than physical one when he's played so much already? I just want Kupe back.

  12. The best episode I have seen yet.

The world is a better place having people like him in it.

I'm not much into idolizing athletes. But he will go down as my favorite athlete of all time.

Oh great! I look forward to watching that. He to me was the most impressive runner. His son is at Stanford now (they redshirted him this year) and I am itching to see him play. Thanks for the heads-up.

  13. That contrasts sharply with the sentiments of those of us who would consider such a loss painful to behold. Frankly I'm not sure that I would even watch the game, I certainly wouldn't derive any pleasure from it either way - which kind of defeats the benefit of the excitement that you refer to. I would find the prospect of that match-up horrendous.

Beautifully expressed. I feel this particular match-up painful as well, though I'm coming from a different place. I've followed Andrew here, and while I've ultimately benefited from the Colts' (probably) sound decision to go with him, I was sad (and moved) to see Peyton in so much pain which was publicly displayed in that press conference. I want Peyton to win a ring or two with us, and I don't want him to lose to the Colts. It would be too cruel. I know Andrew would be fine. He will probably bring a decade + of enjoyment and hopefully multiple rings to this club. And I would be the first Broncos fan to root for the Colts. If anyone doubted your loyalty to the Colts because you still root for Peyton, that's bogus. It's not for anyone else to say.

And sorry about what Elway did to the Colts. My husband was at Stanford then, and he thought the Colts was a horrible organization with a horrible owner, and Elway did what he could. Regardless, he deserves to be disliked for that. I have no idea how Elway feels about his action now or if he thinks of it at all. But he surely is not the same guy. And as you said, how he's treated Peyton shows a different side of Elway. After reading Peter King's article (I think), I said to my husband "Elway landed Peyton by being caring." I hope he continues to earn back some respect he lost when he was young and arrogant.

  14. look he already underwent the MRI, they would know if it was serious or not , treatment may just be mild rehab, ultasound / heat backs, strength conditioning

Nothing is for certain of course

wonder if Broncos were up more at start of 2nd half if he would of come back in , know Peyton wasnt happy thowing that IT trying to squeeze into smaller willis, DT did make nice sideline catch in 2nd half ,dont remember him being tackled in second half badly, when got injured it was right after a catch & run and hard tackle onto shoulder

Yeah, that made me cringe. He is a pyshcal guy but I don't want him mauled like that. I bet he would have sat out had we been up big. Still, a good sign that the injury is not serious.

  15. when DT was on sidelines OK, when he went into locker room for more eval before half ended , now that gave me a double take & pause of uh ohs

shows we need WR depth, Willis is nothing great, Caldwell I am suprised isnt better just like Colts avery

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

dont get me wrong, I agree totally but just saying the Vets are aging and will sooner or later need replacing, sometimes 1 year is alot,

Clady will cost alot, we signed many a 1 year experiment, will they cost more next year or just be happy to play , maybe so having peyton and SB chance

if u watched game u even heard announcer say was a time Brookings could cover the receiver too, or something to that effect when he got beatr, u lose a step and know its not right for pure broncos fans mortgageing the future for now but I want a Peyton SB and want him to have the best D & best weapons or OL possible now

I'm not sure how many snaps Caldwell is getting at practice. He has been inactive a lot as he doesn't play on special team. But yeah, Willis is very green.

I understand where you are coming from, and I am all for win-now strategy. If I could, I would urge Elway to go all in :) The Colts are showing us it's possible to rebuild very quickly if you get the right players. Elway shouldn't be afraid to mortgage the future.

  16. That scarred me and led to the attempt to pass TD too wilklis and instead of just throwing high to dt had to drop perfectly, then the vramirez let in pressure and arm hit and great diving IT

1 thing this team needs is more push up the middle to go with the side attacks, if u cant step into the pocket u got them

These guys remember Champ, Bailey Mcgahee , Brookings , DT BANNaon is 33 ,,Center Dan Koppen is 33, stokely so old was going to retire, must be others , are getting older u know and That is again why I say if in win now mode u dont pick Brock as your second pick

also not all 2nd picks are like wolf and immediate starters, so may need a year to develop

I dont know but hear next years draft is soft on offense & deep on defense,

then again we hopefuly get Hunter back who beat out wolfe for DE but got on IR, so maybe with him back can do variations that help but not idf get another DC if del rio gets HC job

T I think Broncos forget about the Ty Warren, DT, 3 years in rowon IR

    Yeah, that sounds about right.

You should heard the chain of expletives I emitted when DT went out and then at ManRam.

John Elway's strategy is stacking the draft. I know your feelings toward Osweiler but I'm really very pleased with Wolfe. He's played more snaps than any of our d linemen. And we need sage old players like Brooking, Stokely, Champ, Koppen and McGahee—they all have been great. Our blend of young and old is working, and I like the characters of our players. Elway picked Von, Franklin and Rahim Moore with his first three picks last year. I don't want to think about next year just yet, but whatever we do, I'm going to trust Elway's vision for now.
