I see that they had us getting Shane Ray in the first and Donovan Smith in the second, but who did they have us nabbing in the third? Wasn't this a three-round mock?

Pelican at RB (can fly and will never fumble)
Here's my coach (an Emperor Tamarin):

Should I know who Bill Simmons is?
-
Kendricks over Goldman? Please no!
-
Also, we only play one team coming off a bye week. It happens to be the Falcons who we are playing after we BOTH have bye weeks! That makes games interesting!

I figured I'd update my list:

Lorenzo Mauldin, OLB Louisville
Hayes Pullard, ILB USC
Round Four:
Clayton Geathers, FS Central Florida
Rob Havenstein, OT Wisconsin
Round Five:
Corey Robinson, OT South Carolina
Matt Jones, RB Florida
Round Six:
Louis Trinca-Pasat, DT Iowa
Terry Williams, NT East Carolina
Justin Coleman, CB Tennessee

I seem to agree with a lot of what you threw up there, but I strongly disagree with your rankings regarding defensive tackles (both positional rankings and overall rankings).

I assumed he thought Crockett was 170lbs....Obviously Crockett isn't....he however is built a bit like Donald Brown, Not much fat on him, He is thin in the lower body
That makes sense. I think Crockett is built like Sproles or Woodhead. He's definitely not out of Oregon State, though (North Dakota State I think). NCF's rambling was starting to confuse me. Did you anger him in a recent post?
Crocketts not bad. I wouldn't put him above Coleman or Ajayi; but it's not something that you would "lose credibility" over. We all have favorites (Ajayi happens to be my favorite RB, and Hayes Pullard is my favorite prospect).

1.Gurley
2.Gordon
3.Abdullah
4.Duke
5.Crockett
Definitly not unreasonable
Completely reasonable. Who is the 5'7" 170 lbs. back that NCF keeps ranting about? Everyone on your list is well above 200 lbs.

I'd still take him if he falls to our second. Grigson doesn't seem to shy away from people with injury history (Bradshaw, Landry, Holmes, Chapman).
-
I like how you did a small write-up on the percentages (which I agree is easy math), but you forgot to mention that it has the Colts selecting Eddie Goldman.
-
who else was available for the Hunter pick?
-
I'm pretty sure Patty Mac was listed as our #3 (emergency) QB. I'm sure we'll find one for the practice squad, but this is a very low priority. I bet we get one to simulate a certain QB style in practices, but I doubt he'll be anything more than a one-year rental.

I highly doubt that any safety we draft starts this year.
Because we're so loaded with talent at the position?
-
I'm counting on all running backs to fall a round or two past what they're graded. I think Gurley will be the only one taken in the first round (number 27 to the Cowboys).

Not every LB/SS hybrid is going to be the next Kam. Look at Taylor Mays. He had better measurables than Shaq or Kam, but he's been fairly bad his entire NFL career.
If we took Shaq, we would look for him to gain ten pounds or so and play ILB. It wouldn't be worth our first-round pick; but, if he slid to our second, I wouldn't mind the pick.

We drafted Werner because of need and look where that got us. I think we are ata point where we can go BPA as long as we can adequately fit him in our scheme.
Actually, Werner is probably the only BPA pick in Grigson's history (other than MAYBE Dwayne Allen and Josh Chapman (and Luck does not count!)). They have mentioned multiple times (and yes, I believe them) that they were not expecting Werner to be available. Grigson's drafts are FULL of players targeted.
-
Surprise would be my main feeling. Surprise that he lasted that long, and surprise that we grabbed him.
I am hoping that Dallas takes him with their first-round pick (preventing them from taking a defensive player).

Why do we want to take 2 S's in what has been described as a very poor draft for S's? We have other needs and there is a lot of talent at positions that we need help at like CB, LB, DL. RB, WR, OL.
I am for taking the BPA if that happens to be a S twice then I guess it is what it is. I just have a hard time seeing that happening. We need playmakers and talent. It is not wise to draft out need IMO.
Because we need both depth and starting talent at safety (less so after the Lowery signing, but still). Even after we draft one safety, I would still have another safety as a higher need than WR, ILB, OLB, and CB. I want to draft one safety that will start this year and one that will grow into a good starter for next year.
Safeties are also typically good at special teams.
And I don't think this draft is poor for safeties at all. It is a little thin at first-round talent, but it is well-stocked with mid and late round prospects.

Please be a good sport and do not just copy other contestant's selections. You can easily do some research on your own, since plenty of free draft services are available on the web. You can make changes to your selections before the contest is closed on Thursday at noon CST April 30, 2015, on the first day of the draft, but, like in taking standardized tests, many times your first guess usually is the right one! If there is a trade before the draft and one or more of the picks change, we will start over. Good luck and let the best GM win!
hey Dr.T are we allowed to redo our list or only one submission of picks?
Looks like you he's graciously allowing you to rethink your draft.

Breshad Perriman is set to visit the Colts. I hope we use it as an opportunity to ask about Geathers. I doubt Perriman is going to fall to us in the first or that WR is going to be our first-round pick.

While I would love this draft after it happened, I would be cursing Grigson for a whole day. If Hayes Pullard fell to our fourth, and we did not take him, I would be furious. When he falls to our fifth, and we do not take him, I would be murderous. Then he falls to our sixth, and we do not take him...

He held his own against Jimmy Graham. I did watch the game, but I don't have video to share. If you have game rewind then you can watch the game.
Jimmy Graham was injured and mediocre for much of last season.

It's like picking March Madness brackets... It makes EVERYONE look foolish (but this draft more than others)...
