You may as well at this point. He does nothing in this offense.

A game changer who's only 25 now signed long term.
Without saying something dumb I'll say yes, it was a great move.
-
Dream scenarios are Mathis getting back to at least 75% of what he was and Cole earning his pay.
Only a quarter of the way through, but there's still hope those guys eventually get it going. They've had success, Mathis I can somewhat understand (injury), Cole may still be getting acclimated to a new team, city and scheme.
Let's hope we get even an average pass rush going sometime this year.

Check to make sure I didn't leave the 06' Championship game in my DVD player and hit play mistakenly.
-
Although it may backfire at times they must try and jam WR's and TE's in the hopes that extra .5 seconds gets the rush to the QB. We're not good enough to blitz and leave guys singled up all the time.
Other then that, not much can be done this season. Our rush is what it is.
-
They also stopped calling plays that take 15 minutes to develop down field. Guys can hold their blocks for a few seconds, they won't ever give him Brady type time.
What we're all wondering is why hasn't this been incorporated yet with Luck out there?

This game will weigh on whether Jim cleans house at years end (IMHO).
Close game loss and all is well going forward, lose 50-10 type thing and I think the firing talk will get louder for a number of folks in the organization.
-
I've followed the company line and trusted the regime's moves, but I'm officially off their wagon.
You literally have one major important job, protect #12.
You're failing at that. Jim, do the right thing and pay whatever it takes in salary and or buyouts of contracts of the current best out there and build this thing the right way. We're good cap wise going forward so a competent GM could make things work quickly, we have the most important piece, a QB.
Sorry for the rant, but I don't want this to become a habit (#12 being constantly hurt). Also, a shoulder isn't just a minor thing when talking QB's.
This is actually a time I hope Jim overreact's at seasons end.
Sorry, rant over..

Hands down will be. He's the youngest of all the stud QB's.
Let's play make believe and let Andrew hit the open market if you really want to see what he'd be worth to many franchises.

I honestly have zero patients for the slow starts we seem to have at times.
O has to become more fluid, not be dead for 3 quarters and score 28in the other.
Hopefully they've gotten that fixed before I have full faith in the O.
-
Only way it makes sense is if it's a late season signing to possibly to give our guys a rest if we're cruising into whatever playoff seed we're getting.
Play him now, he'd be on his usual IR spot by midseason.
This is all hypothetical of course, I think Indy is done with the Bradshaw experiment.

I want to see a team that doesn't look totally lost.
A prepared team, even if they lose.
-
Until they prove they're legit they're the same old Bills to me.
I actually think this will be a cake walk.
Good D or not, we're definitely gonna score. They won't be able to keep scoring with us.
I remember this QB they have from last year. He's average on a great day.
Colts roll in this one.

This contractwill look good in acouple years and we're paying him a below market rate while he enters his prime. It's aneasy winwin in my head.
-
What if Aaron Bailey held on to that ball.
I wish I could delete that game from my memory.
Kordell stepping out of bounds, Coryatt dropping the INT...Can we 'what if' that whole game...??
-
I don't blame him, who'd want to be the jets qb??
-
It's definitely on the dumb side regardless if it's our team or not.
Especially considering how bad the beating was. I'd understand it way more (but still not approve) if it was a game for the ages where the team lost in a heartbreak.
Just a bad reminder of how 14'ended honestly.
-
Should probably just cancel the season. I'm guessing we lose 78-3...jeez

Clark didn't break 800 until year 6 so let's not go crazy knocking the kid. He's also only a 4th year guy. Bonehead plays aside he's been very good, he's improved every year.
Allen looked like he was a step slow coming back from injury. Let's hope it was rust and the hip isn't an injury that alters him as a player in the future.
-
Personal reasons? Yeah right. It's either made up or coach told him he wasn't playing and he said he'd rather not go
That's how I see it as well. You aren't playing, wanna sit and watch? I'm sure he knows his time is done and he won't be paying in the SB if we make it. May as well go home and call it a career (as a Colt that is).
-
At this point his money owed doesn't matter. He has zero value to us so giving him a roster spot next year just so you don't eat that money would be incredibly stupid.
As has been mentioned, biggest game of his Colts career and he didn't even travel with the team. He's done and you can basically count this as we screwed up and move on.

Seattle will be losing Marshawn at seasons end. I'm sure Wilson will be getting top dollar, so they won't be able to bring in too many more pieces. They are about as good as they will get. Of course Sherman and Wilson will get better over the years though.
That's why I won't freak out of we don't win it all this year. Our arrow is definitely pointing up. Luck will get his versions of Freeney/Bob Sanders/Our olines of the early to mid 00's in the next few years. Expectations were set through the roof with how good Luck has been out of the gate.
Like you said, Seattle has a small window left, ours technically hasn't even opened yet and we're in the afccg.
Future is way bright for our Colts.

We have a great chance as long as we don't have one of those stupid games where we fumble a couple times or guys drop good gains that hit them squarely in the hands.
Our last 7 games...

Definitely a realistic projection. Without breaking down each game I'd say 7-9 to 9-7 at the high end. 10-6 if they play pretty mistake free and inspired.
As said, we're so inconsistent I wouldn't be shocked if I could see into the future and see us losing a majority of those games.
But I'd say that's a pretty accurate assessment.
