I wouldn't mind 2 in the SB that never make it in the postseason.
A Falcon/Dolphins type SB would be stress free for me.
I'm on the anyone but NE train.

Detroit at least goes into the half thinking they have a shot to pull off the upset.

They were in big trouble before the flight to Seattle
I hear ya. I just want to see a competitive game honestly.

Detroit in big trouble if they go down 14..
-
Wow what a catch..
-
Detroit getting punched right now. They've got to shore it up somehow.

His O-line?
It's more then that. He never gets stuffed regardless of who's in there.

Whenever it's a 4th and 1 or short, Brady always QB sneaks it. I don't understand why many teams do the same.
He's got that down to a science and I also can't figure out how he does it.

I think chud phoned that play to the Lions
Exactly what I thought. Another case of to cute.

Good for Detroit so far. Holding up in a tough environment.

IMO, winning your division and at least 1 Playoff game is a Good season no matter how you get it done. Lets see if Houston can make that next step like we did in 2014 getting to the Title Game. The Divisional Round is when the big boys play, Final 8 time next week!
Absolutely I agree. Was just kind of commenting on people discounting Hou. Hey, once in the dance you have a shot. I'd be happy even if we had beat a Carr-less Oak in this game.
-
Detroit is just one of those teams I'd never trust in the playoffs.
Their fans deserve some good fortune though.
-
I won't crap on Hou's parade. It's still a playoff win. Our fans would be ecstatic if we were in it and won.
Puts pressure on us to get better.

Walden had a career year so I wouldn't go counting on him getting 10+ sacks again this year.
We are dreadful, pitiful whatever you'd like to call it at pass rushing..
OLB to me and it's not even close.

F for allowing Brock Osweiler and a number of backup level QBs to beat us... in our own house.
F for allowing us to fall apart in critical situations at the end of the game resulting in a loss. I understand the circumstances but this is professional football. You have to be better, no excuses.
So we're in the participation ribbon zone of defense??

That's a lofty goal for a team that barely got to 8-8.
My goal honestly would be to win the division and just get in, but at worse finish second next year in the south.

30th ranked In yards allowed and 25 ppg given up, 22nd in the league in that category.
That's in the bad to trash grading area.

I can't imagine Walden would ask for ridiculous money. He did have a very good year, so he definitely deserves a nice contract, but nothing too big.
It's his last contract though, he'll definitely be going to the highest bidder.
He's never made big money (for his standards) so I'd bet he'd leave even if it's even a million or two.
-
At least it won't be a shock when we don't improve or make the same mistakes again so it actually helps in a twilight zone type of way.
I know I'm not going to stress much about 2017 now.

Just to join in on the speculation I'd be ecstatic of a Saban hire. He has credited the Hoody with teaching him how to put together a staff that is totally on the same page and function as one.
Our current staff seems more like a group of individuals trying to work as one.
I also think he gets a bum wrap for the Mia gig. At that time they were totally dysfunctional if I remember correctly.
I'd rather a guy be honest and leave then stay and not care and just go through the motions.
No denying he's had great success regardless of his recruiting advantage. These kids still have to show up and produce.
-
These coaches don't seem to develop young players very well so that'll be something to consider in a couple years when you can truly grade the picks.
There may be someone who becomes a good/great player, but simply from watching this year there weren't any undeniable studs, the types who come in and are good/great right of the bat.
Hope for the best.

Lol at least he blitzed 50% of the time when we had no Mathis but he was vanilla...this defense isn't vanilla as his but no blitz and any running back with agility and quickness could juke everyone on the defense on an outside run
How sad were some of the runs against us in the oak/jax games?
RB's untouched literally until 10 yds down field. Some huge cutback lanes.
I'd go after him if it were possible just because any extra scheming we get would be helpful even though he wouldn't get much talent to coach. Even if it's only a small improvement, it's still something.

I wish, but I'd be ok with Manusky back at this point.
-
I miss that guy. He honestly better get in one day, I'd be * as a fan.
Always came to work and kept his head down and beasted.
