2006 Coltsbestever, if you want to make some good money, you could bet on the Bears over the Chiefs in week 3. Or is that too risky ?
I am tempted to risk fate and go with the Bears, but I have to make sure that I can afford to lose the money.

The Giants came back after last week's pathetic performance. It was Arizona, but the team should feel better.
Washington wins in a close one. The Broncos missed a two point conversion to tie the game and no flags were thrown.

I bet on Calvin Ridley to get at least 50 yards in the game; he ended up with 32. A couple long passes would have worked. It didn't matter about touchdowns, as I only needed the yardage.
Got the Packers-Falcons correct. One out of two isn't bad. I got the Chiefs-Jaguars wrong.

I predict the Colts will win, but the Texans will make it close. Stroud is questionable to play.
AR has to protect himself better. Hopefully, that will come with some practice.

My choices: Falcons over Packers; Jaguars over Chiefs. Too difficult to give scores. Falcons will run ball on Packers, maybe get Kyle Pitts or Drake London involved, and defense will cause problems for Jordan Love.
Jaguars outlast Chiefs, even if Travis Kelce plays.
Side note; if rumors bout Kelce hanging out with Taylor Swift are true, Kelce might not be completely focused on the game.

Cleveland beat Cincinnati. I called that one correctly.
Joe Burrow didn't play well. Maybe he was too busy counting his mega bucks.

I am impressed with Anthony Richardson's NFL debut. It was scary when Richardson went down in the end. I hope he wasn't hurt too badly.
Both defenses played well. There were mistakes by both teams, ending in defensive touchdowns. Overall, entertaining game.

I'll be watching the Jags-Colts on FOX.
My late games are Eagles-Patriots on CBS, Packers -Bears FOX. I don't know which I'll watch, might switch between both games.
I like Patrick Mahomes, but KC always being in the playoffs is annoying, like the Patriots were when they were always winning.

Jags TE is Evan Engram.

What about Irsay the singer? L'il Wayne seems to like him, even wanted to do a track with Irsay.

The Lions must have felt left out because nobody picked them to win. They showed everyone winning last night.
Note to those who predict games: don't sleep on the Lions. Also, the Chiefs need to get better receivers. Patrick Mahomes must be frustrated. I think their signing Kadarius Toney might have been a mistake. He's injury prone and when playing, can't catch balls. Maybe he'll improve, but I have yet to see that. Skyy Moore was suppose to be top receiver. He was a dud in week 1. Andy Reid will probably have things to say in meetings.

I like Cynthia Frelund, but her predictions aren't always correct. I take them with a grain of salt.
The one I like is Tom Grossi of Packast videos. He lists the floor and ceiling of each division. His prediction has the Colts floor 7-10, ceiling 9-8. He thinks Anthony Richardson has the talent to get wins for the team. If Jonathan Taylor is traded, the floor will be more likely.

Patrick Mahomes was a spam risk. LOL. "Who is that old guy singing? He's killing it." Can one imagine L'il Wayne and Jim Irsay collaborating on a record?

I have different rosters: some season long, others daily fantasy. This is my daily fanduel lineup for week 1. Had to stay under a set salary cap.
QB Jalen Hurts
RB Rhamondre Stevenson and Jamaal Williams
WR DJ Moore, Jahan Dotson and Calvin Ridley
TE Dallas Goedert
Flex Bijon Robinson
Defense NE Patriots
What's your roster?

Drafted tonight.
I got an A+ on my draft picks.
We'll see.
How do you know what grade you got? Maybe it depends on what site you draft through? I did mine on Fanduel, and no one was graded as far as I noticed.
I also started Fanduel Sportsbook this year, Already bet on some USFL, basketball and soccer. Didn't do too badly. I have a set limit and work with that amount.

Yes, we should have kept Rodgers and then reinstated him later. He made a stupid mistake, but is a good player.

Apparently, Kelce didn't like the hit Zaire put on Kenneth Gainwell. He went after Zaire for that and things got out of control. There is also a report that Derek Barnett hit on Anthony Richardson, which upset other Colts players. Everyone was out of sorts, so it was a good idea to end practice early.

I often have a difficult time listening to Jim Irsay. He wasn't too bad, Saturday night, but I don't like to listen for a long time. He isn't a good speaker and tends to repeat himself.

Jonathan Taylor travelling to Philadelphia, Sirianni and Steichen know each other and both know Taylor. Talks could happen and Taylor to the Eagles isn't out of the question. They have to figure out the contract, draft picks, etc.

I liked watching Stuard flying around the field. He also has nice hair. Another Polamalu in that respect?
The QBs did well. It's nice to see some touchdowns being scored.

2023 weekly NFL pick'em games: Week 3
in NFL General

I'm going out on limb here: the Bears will be competitive against the Chiefs. Maybe not win, but they won't roll over, either. Somehow they find their rhythm and play a good game.
Predicting Bucs over Eagles.
