Luck looked awesome but, as he said, it was a team win
I know it's a team win because it always is but when you watch a show and they downplay a QB play on a win and in the next segment the praise another QB who did less or the same. It just makes me shake my head at times.
-
I hate the way they downplayed Lucks great game. Skip and Steven says Luck really didn't do anything special yesterday to win the game. It was the TO's and the Defense of the Broncos that lost them the game. But they talk about RG3 and praise him on his play yesterday. I just shake my head at this show now. Turning to NFL network for the rest of my football news and highlights.

Could we get back to the OP's question and forget that troll ever posted. I really wanted to know the info on this. It would be great if we got a better draft pick because of it.
-
I was referring to season averages http://www.nfl.com/teams/Indianapolis%20Colts/statistics?team=IND db 19 carries 157 yds 8.3 ypc. Will that go down yes, also Bradshaw is averaging 4.5 ypc. Im not bashing T-Rich in any way. I actually think he's a great asset. He's a great blocker, hes's fast and has good hands. Numbers dont lie, hes had this same low ypc with the Browns. Will he get better yes, but he needs to improve his vision, then he will be special.
Can't use the Browns because its the browns and every team focused on him the whole time. Just like they focused on him when he's in the game with the Colts. It's just going to get better when our Oline play gets better and he learns the Oline. Remember DB and Bradshaw has been with the team this whole year and they both know the Oline vs TRich.
-
But yet DB behind the same offensive line is averaging over 4 yds a carry. I think once T-Rich improves his vision he will be fine. He has all the physical tools already.
Maybe that same Defense that's seeing DB in the backfield is thinking it's a pass vs seeing T-Rich in the backfield thinking it's a run.

Your special teams was better, for one. You had more than one receiver who was a threat to score, and your offense wasn't nearly as one-dimensional as ours was. I find it incredible Foster still got as many TDs as he did, considering the defense knew full and well who was getting the football every game.
Andre Johnson REC-112 Yards-1598 Avg. 14.3 TD-4
Owen Daniels REC-62 Yards-716 Avg. 11.5 TD-6
Name the receivers on our team last year had a threat to score behind our O-Line? Note I said behind the Colts O-Line.

His stats are inflated due to the number of times he threw the football. Funny how every rookie QB with the exception of Tannehill and Weeden did better than your guy as well as Schaub did. Yet you hate the media when they rank them ahead of him and love them when they don't.
"His stats are inflated due to the number of times he threw the football." Did you just really say that. wow. But you still don't have a explanation on why a rookie did just slightly less than a 9th year player who had a stacked team on both sides of the ball.
-
QB1: 64.3 completion %, 7.4 yards per throw, 250.5 yards a game, 12 INTS, 90.7 Passer rating
QB2: 54.1 completion %, 7 yards per throw, 273.4 yards/game, 18 INTS, 76.5 Passer rating
Guess which QB is Schaub? And after doing that, take a guess at who QB2 is as well.
Funny that a first year QB with less did slightly under a ninth year QB that had more to work with on both sides of the ball.

Guess Grigs believes in keeping some draft picks for next year and hope the best available player is there.
-
apart from few games this dude was basically a non factor against good teams and awful lot of snaps off would be a waste of round pick if we draft him
Someone doesn't know position football.
-
No matter what RB you have now or later if you don't have a OLine to block for them they'll still be just another RB point blank.
-
-
For a 1st round pick it is guys like Kuechly,Cushing,Timmons ran in the 4.5 to 4.6. Most of the slower guys who ran in the 4.75 range like Mcclain,Laurinaitis, Puzlunzy,A.J Hawk haven't been successful because they can't play all three downs. Their all libilities vs play action and fast TE's.

Just because the NFL owners are trying to save face on paying former and current players money owed they'll kill the game in a whole.

Michael Huff? A very solid cover man.
Trade Bethea. to SF

Sorry but you're like 24 hours late on this post.

Lets see you do anywhere near as good as he did given the cap crap he was put into.
I was just going to state this. He's acting like he had some more to go out and get players last year. Some people don't think about the whole situation he had to deal with.
-
I can't stand Pollard. He is a loud-mouth. I remember in an Indy/Houston game (back when he played for Houston), Reggie Wayne made a catch by their sideline and the cameras picked up the sound and all you could hear was Pollard swearing like there was no tomorrow. I'd rather take Landry
And you think Landry doesn't swear on the football field. LOL Landry and Pollard are almost the same type of player but Pollard has played more snaps due to him being healthier thru out the seasons played between the both.

I really hope you're joking. Spending 20 mil on these players in my opinion was not good business.
He doesn't know because they don't have the figures from all the FA have signed for.
hmmm.. what a quandary.

That's like saying giving up the win to get Ballard, Allen and Bradshaw up. That would mean we'll have our 1st round pick back. Injuries happen to every team. Only injury I would hate for any team to have is the QB.
